I'm going through my whole movie collection in more or less alphabetical order. (More or less because some of the kids movies my daughter wants me to wait & watch with her and series will be watched chronologically.) Ima post a pic of my copy, where/why I got it, & a little review.

For the 50th anniversary of the live-action Batman series, this feature was made. I was fortunate enough to see it in theaters as it was only shown one day in select theaters (one of those Fathom Events things), but it was released immediately after on digital & DVD/Blu-ray a month later.
Adam West, Burt Ward, & Julie Newmar reprised their 60s roles, the only actors still alive at the time. The other villains are played by veteran voice actors doing spot-on impressions of their original actors. (If you thought Wally Wingert was a good Riddler in the Arkham games, wait till you hear him nail the Frank Gorshin laugh).
Joker, Catwoman, Riddler, & Penguin team up to steal a Replica Ray. Catwoman also tries to use her Batnip to control Batman, but at first it appears to have no effect on him. However Batman (and his alter ego Millionaire Bruce Wayne) starts to act more irritable and violent. He fires Alfred, kicks Dick out, & uses the Replica Ray to make multiple Batmans (Batmen?) to take over Gotham. Catwoman teams up with Robin to break out all the other 60s guest villains to take on the army of evil Batmen.
While the movie recreates the campiness of the original series to a T, it is also full of references to the Burton, Schumacher, & Nolan movies and the comics. It also has a lot of self-aware humor poking fun at many of the original show's tropes. It was clearly a labor of love for all involved because of the attention to detail, quality voice acting, & entertaining script. A must-see for any Batman fan
