The show comes to the attention of a sleazy network executive who wants to produce a big-budget version of âWayneâs Worldââand he also wants Wayneâs girlfriend, a rock singer named Cassandra. Waiting for Godot - Broadway - November 24, 2013 (Opening Night) (Lanelle's master) FORMAT: Â MP4 (HD) CAST: Aidan Gemme (The Boy), Billy Crudup (Lucky), Ian McKellen (Estragon), Patrick Stewart (Vladimir), Shuler Hensley (Pozzo)
War Horse - West End - February 27, 2014 (Pro-Shot's master) FORMAT: Â MKV (HD) CAST: Sion Daniel Young (Albert Narracott), Josie Walker (Rose Narracott), Alistair Brammer (Billy Narracott), Alex Avery (Captain Nicholls), Steve North (Ted Narracott), Tom Hodgkins (Arthur Narracott) NOTES: Multi-cam pro-shot broadcast live to cinemas as part of National Theatre Live, Includes interval interview and documentary.Â
War Paint - Broadway - March 11, 2017 (Preview) (SunsetBlvd79's master) FORMAT:  MP4 (SD) CAST: Patti LuPone (Helena Rubinstein), Christine Ebersole (Elizabeth Arden), John Dossett (Tommy Lewis), Douglas Sills (Harry Fleming) NOTES: Beautiful HD capture of the Broadway transfer. Some changes for Broadway from the previous Goodman Theater production. Excellent performances from the entire cast with clear picture and great sound throughout; very good video. 2 DVDs. A War Paint - Broadway - April 29, 2017 (Matinee) (NYCG8R's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Patti LuPone (Helena Rubinstein), Christine Ebersole (Elizabeth Arden), John Dossett (Tommy Lewis), Douglas Sills (Harry Fleming) NOTES: The master gets caught during Face to Face. You can hear someone say âTURN IT OFFâ. Blackout during that part. Wasted - Southwark Playhouse - 2018 (Pro-Shot's master) FORMAT:  MP4 (HD) CAST: Matthew Jacobs Morgan (Branwell BrontĂ«), Molly Lynch (Anne BrontĂ«), Natasha Barnes (Charlotte BrontĂ«), Siobhan Athwal (Emily BrontĂ«) We Are The Tigers - Off-Broadway - March, 2019 (StarCuffedJeans's master) FORMAT:  MP4 (HD) CAST: Lauren Zakrin (Riley Williams), Wonu Ogunfowora (Cairo), Jenny Rose Baker (Kate Dalton), MiMi Scardulla (Reese), Kaitlyn Frank (Annleigh), Cathy Ang (Mattie Wheeler), Celeste Rose (Chess), Zoe Jensen (Farrah), Sydney Parra (Eva Sanchez), Louis Griffin (Clark) NOTES: Starts at the beginning of "I Just Wanna" and missing part of "Mattie's Lament." The theater was really full tonight so there are a good number of heads in this video, but they are worked around to the best of my ability. This is a super small theater (less than 160 seats) and at times the cast members were definitely singing to the camera and honestly giving their best performances because of it. All of the things on the upper level (the bathroom, the pathway, and the kitchen) are captured perfectly, and the zooms on the lower level (the living room and bench) look good as well. Obviously because this is a murder mystery kind of show the lighting can get a little bit dark, but my camera handles low lighting incredibly well. This is honestly the best video you could expect from this venue We Will Rock You - Germany (Cologne) - August, 2005 (Pro-Shot's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Alex Melcher (Galileo), Vera Bolten (Scaramouche), Brigitte Oelke (Killer Queen), Martin Berger (Khashoggi), Michaela Kovarikova (Meat/Oz), DMJ (Brit/J.B.), James Sbano (Pop/Buddy/Bap), Harald Tauber (Teacher), Willemijn Verkaik NOTES: Multicam proshot We Will Rock You - Utrecht (The Netherlands) - October, 2010 FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: John Vooijs (Galileo), Marjolein Teepen (Scaramouche), Pia Douwes (Killer Queen), Paul Donkers (Khashoggi), Floortje Smit (Meat/Oz), Ruud van Overdijk (Brit/J.B.), Rutger le Poole (Pop/Buddy/Bap) NOTES: Good capture. Heads in the way, but also a lot of good close-ups. Dubble DVD! We Will Rock You - West End - February 11, 2003 (Pro-Shot's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Tony Vincent (Galileo), Hannah Jane Fox (Scaramouche), Sharon D Clarke (Killer Queen), Alexander Hanson (Khashoggi), Kerry Ellis (Meat/Oz), Nigel Clauzner (Brit/J.B.), Nigel Planer (Pop/Buddy/Bap) The Wedding Singer - Broadway - April 1, 2006 (Preview) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Stephen Lynch (Robbie Hart), Laura Benanti (Julia), Matthew Saldivar (Sammy), Kevin Cahoon (George), Rita Gardner (Rosie), Amy Spanger (Holly), Richard H Blake (Glen), Felicia Finley (Linda) NOTES: Includes pictures of outside of the theatre and playbill. This was before the changes were made to the production. Blackouts throughout the show. The Wedding Singer - Off-West End - March 1, 2020 (Matinee) (Closing Night) (Highlights) (queenofthedead's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Kevin Clifton (Robbie Hart), Rhiannon Chesterman (Julia), Ashley Emmerson (Sammy), Andrew Carthy (George), Sandra Dickinson (Rosie), Tara Verloop (Holly), Jonny Fines (Glen), Erin Bell (Linda), Lori Haley Fox (Angie), Andy Brady (David Fonda), Nathan Ryles (Harold Fonda), Jordan Crouch (Donnie), Aimee Moore (Tiffany), Simon Anthony (Shane McDonough), Paris Green (Donatella), Vanessa Grace Lee (Donatellaâs Mother), Morgan Jackson (Mookie), Ellie Seaton (Crystal) NOTES: 38 minutes of act 1 of the closing performance, unobstructed. Welcome To The Club - Broadway - April 8, 1989 FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Avery Schreiber (Milton), Bill Buell (Gus), Jodi Benson (Betty), Marcia Mitzman (Carol), Marilyn Sokol (Arlene), Sally Mayes (Winona), Samuel E Wright (Bruce), Scott Waara (Kevin), Scott Wentworth (Aaron), Terri White (Eve) NOTES: Filmed during previews. Well filmed from the balcony. Mostly a full stage shot. Some generational loss. Wenn RosenblĂ€tter Fallen - Oberhausen - June 13, 2016 (Rumpel's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Pia Douwes (Rose), Anton Zetterholm (Till), Annemieke van Dam (Iris) Â
West Side Story - Hollywood Bowl - July 19, 2016 (SJ Bernly's master) FORMAT:  VOB (with smalls) (SD) CAST: Jeremy Jordan (Tony), Solea Pfeiffer (Maria), Karen Olivo (Anita), Matthew James Thomas (Riff), George Akram (Bernardo), Drew Foster (Action), Jose Moreno Brooks (Chino), Anthony C Chatmon II (A-Rab), Kyle Selig (Baby John), Mike Schwitter (Big Deal), Jeff Smith (Diesel), Kevin Chamberlin (Krupke), Jennifer Sanchez (Rosalia), Erica Dorfler (Consuela) NOTES: This concert version of the show is abridged with shortened scenes, simple costumes, and no sets or choreography, but Jeremy, Solea, and Karen are absolutely phenomenal with soaring vocals and emotional performances. Very well captured with no dropouts, no obstruction, and no washout. The stage is filmed directly most of the time; the screens are occasionally filmed, usually when the actors are not onstage. Itâs filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans. No dropouts and no obstruction. West Side Story - Second Broadway Revival - February 23, 2009 (Preview) (SunsetBlvd79's master) FORMAT:  VOB (no smalls) (SD) CAST: Matt Cavenaugh (Tony), Josefina Scaglione (Maria), Karen Olivo (Anita), Cody Green (Riff), George Akram (Bernardo), Curtis Holbrook (Action), Joey Haro (Chino), Kyle Coffman (A-Rab), Ryan Steele (Baby John), Tro Shaw (Anybodys), Steve Bassett (Lt. Schrank), Lee Sellars (Krupke), Greg Vinkler (Doc) NOTES: Stunning production of this revival. Josefina and Karen still steal the show. The cast was on fire and there was a lot of energy in the audience as it was the first performance on Broadway. There are some changes from the DC run, which work better. Yolanda Adams
Yolanda Yvette Adams (born August 27, 1961) is an American gospel singer, record producer, actress, and radio host on WBLS. As of September 2009, she had sold 4.5 million albums since 1991 in the United States, and nearly 8 million albums worldwide according to SoundScan.
On December 11, 2009, Billboard Magazine named her the No. 1 Gospel Artist of the last decade. In the same chart, her album Mountain High...Valley Low was acknowledged as the best gospel album.
Life
The oldest of six siblings, Adams was born in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Sterling High School in Houston in 1979. After graduating from Texas Southern University, she began a career as a schoolteacher and part-time model in Houston. Eventually she gave up teaching to perform full-time as a lead singer.
Musical career
Beginnings
Adams first attracted the attention of Thomas Whitfield and Sound of Gospel Records as a lead singer with Houston's Southeast Inspirational Choir affiliated with the Church of God in Christ, under the direction of Carl Preacher, Brenda Waters, and Shirley Joiner. The choir released the single in 1982 "For My Liberty" with Adams as the featured vocalist. In 1986, Adams was featured on the Edwin Hawkins Music and Arts Seminar Choir released Give Us Peace, with a performance entitled "My Trust Lies In You". Later, she signed a recording contract with Sound of Gospel which yielded her first album Just As I Am in 1987. In 1990, she was discovered by producer/keyboardist Ben Tankard, and signed to his independent label Tribute Records and released Through The Storm. Tankard's goal with Tribute Records during this time was to develop an audience for a smoother gospel/jazz sound. He featured Yolanda's jazzy vocals on his album and concept video single "You Bring Out The Best In Me" on his 1994 release Play Me In Your Key. The collaboration received positive response from gospel, jazz and "quiet storm" formats.
One year later, Adams followed with Save the World, which included her first signature song "The Battle Is The Lord's". Her next release was 1995's More Than a Melody, which featured more production work from Tankard with contributions from O'Landa Draper, and BeBe Winans. The single "Gotta Have Love," from that album featuring Tony Terry on background vocals, gained mainstream notoriety and was her first single and music video. Yolanda... Live In Washington, released the following year, featured versions of material from her first three albums. The footage from this recording was released as a collection of two videos on VHS initially, and later as a single set on DVD and CD. During this time Tribute Records' parent company Diadem Music Group merged with Benson Music Group, which was eventually bought by New York-based Zomba/Verity Records.
Songs from the Heart was her final release for Verity Records, including "Only Believe", which was popular songs on contemporary radio. The album also included "Still I Rise," a dedication to Rosa Parks, which was inspired by the Maya Angelou poem of the same name.
Mainstream breakthrough
Adams' first significant attention outside the urban contemporary gospel arena came with the release of Mountain High... Valley Low in 1999 on Elektra Records. Several mainstream artists and producers helped in the production of this album including Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis (Janet Jackson, Boyz II Men), James "Big Jim" Wright (Mariah Carey, Nicole C. Mullen), Warryn Campbell (Mary Mary, Brandy), and Keith Thomas (BeBe & CeCe Winans). The album went 2x Platinum in 2000 and won Adams a Grammy Award. Notable singles from the album include "Yeah", "Fragile Heart", and "Open My Heart". "Fragile Heart" was dedicated to the memory of Adams' long-time road manager, who died in 1998.
In 2000, Adams released a Christmas album, and in 2001 she released a live album (The Experience). The Experience netted Adams a second Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album. Believe, which included the hit "Never Give Up" was released in 2001 and reached gold status according to the RIAA. She would later go on to perform this song at "The Salute to Gospel Music" at the White House during President George W. Bush's administration. In 2001, Adams also released a compilation CD entitled The Divas of Gospel; it included the legendary Grammy Award winner Albertina Walker, who is considered the "queen of gospel music".
Adams recorded a song for the 2003 film Honey entitled "I Believe", which played during the last scene in the final dance.
Adams was also a judge for the 2nd annual Independent Music Awards to support independent artists' careers. She is also credited as the Queen of Contemporary Gospel Music.
Day By Day
After nearly four years without releasing an album, Adams returned in 2005 with Day By Day. Although charting higher than Mountain High...Valley Low on the Billboard 100 and Billboard R&B Albums chart, it did not receive RIAA certification. The album featured the singles "Be Blessed," "Someone Watching Over You," "This Too Shall Pass", and "Victory" (which was prominently featured in the movie The Gospel).
After ending her long association with Atlantic Records, Atlantic released a greatest hits collection entitled The Best of Me in May 2007.
Adams signed with Columbia Records in 2007. Columbia released What a Wonderful Time, her second holiday collection, in October 2007. "Hold On" was released as the lead single.
Morning radio show and book release
After the release of "What a Wonderful Time", Adams embarked on the radio market with her "The Yolanda Adams Morning Show" On New York's hit gospel station, WBLS. The show proved to be a huge success, taking over 26 markets in just two years. Currently, the show is heard in 39 markets. In 2014, Emmis Communications, a radio and publishing company purchased WLIB.
On December 25, 2009, Adams performed on BET's The Mo'Nique Show, where she sang "Already Alright," from her 1999 Mountain High...Valley Low album. Mo'Nique stated that the song is one of her favorites.
In 2010, Adams released her book "Points of Power", based on one of the segments of her radio show Points of Power.
Yolanda Adams appeared on the 2011 BET Honors to sing her signature song "The Battle Is the Lord's" in honor of Cicely Tyson. Later, Adams appeared at the [1] 53rd Grammy Awards, taking part in a tribute to Aretha Franklin, along with Jennifer Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Florence Welch from Florence and the Machine, and Martina McBride Adams performed "Spirit in the Dark" - Franklin's classic from 1970. On several occasions, Franklin stated that she "especially loved" Yolanda's performance. On May 29, 2011, Yolanda sang at the prestigious National Memorial Day Concert in Washington, DC, to honor the U.S. soldiers.
Becoming
Adams' eleventh studio album, Becoming, was released on May 3, 2011 produced by Steve Bracey. The new single, "Be Still", by Drathoven, debuted on Tuesday, April 19 on the Yolanda Adams Morning show. Becoming was released by Walmart as an exclusive deal. At The BET Awards 2012, Adams' won the award for Best Gospel Artist for the 4th time in her career having won the most since the first BET Awards in 2001.
New Album
On an April 2013 episode of BET's "Lift Every Voice," Adams' announced that she was working on her twelfth studio album. The album title and release date has yet to be announced, but she announced songwriting and producing credits from the likes of super gospel producers Donald Lawrence, Israel Haughton & Kirk Franklin. She also mentioned a song and studio session with Grammy, Billboard & ASCAP award-winning global hit songwriter Diane Warren (Whitney Houston, Patti Labelle, Tina Turner, Elton John).
Book release
Adams released her first book Points of Power in 2010. It is a Christian book in reference to living a pure, spirit-filled Christian life.
The Yolanda Adams Morning Show on radio
Adams is the host of The Yolanda Adams Morning Show, which currently airs on Urban Gospel stations owned by Radio One.
Morning Show cities and affiliates as of July 21, 2009
Personal life
From 1987-1990 Adams was married to Troy Mason. Adams said spousal abuse was the reason for their divorce. In 1997, Adams married former NFL player Tim Crawford. The couple divorced in August 2004 after seven years. Adams and Crawford had one daughter, Taylor Adams Crawford, born in 2001.

Art F City: This Weekâs Must-See Art Events: Queens Reigns Supreme
A decade ago, if you said that Manhattanites would be regularly heading to Queens for their culture fix itâs unlikely most people wouldâve believed you outside of Long Island City. But now the borough is increasingly our go-to destination for art events. From Marni Kotakâs artist talk at Microscope Gallery tonight (just on the Brooklyn side of the Ridgewood border) to the surrealist pop-up âDEBTBANKâ at the Queens Museum on Sunday, everyone should be spending most of the week East of the East River.
Other Queens highlights include Lex Brownâs solo show and performance at Deli Gallery on Friday night and a three-day preview of a Meredith Monk performance at Queenslab in Ridgewood. Arguably the most fun to be had, though, will be the 2017 Flux-a-Thon benefit in Long Island City. That interactive parade will wind from Flux Factory to neighboring Plaxall Gallery for prizes and an hours-long dance party.

Artist Talk with Marni Kotak
How much information is too much information? One might find themselves asking that of Marni Kotak, the performance artist who has documented her childâs life via Go-Pro for the past six years in addition to her own battles with postpartum depression.
Excerpts from the six-hour âRaising Baby X: Five Yearsâ will be screened, and will discuss her current exhibition in the gallery: Treehouse. This latest project focuses on the struggle to recover from a catastrophic fire in the artistâs own home while coping with the stresses o the current political climate. This work might be ultra-personal, but itâs certainly relatable to our era.

Ferocious Ink
SVAâs Visual Narrative MFA program and the Goethe-Institut New York are cohosting this talk from authors and illustrators Line Hoven and Nora Krug. The duo will talk about German identity (expect this to be angsty and philosophical!) and âways of weaving the personal, cultural and historical into new forms of storytelling.â I never understood where the bizarre and totally wrong stereotype that Germans donât have a sense of humor comes from. The above image, from Line Hoven, should put that misconception to rest once and for all.
Wed

Maker, Maker
Even grown-ups will want to check out the opening reception for Maker, Maker at the Childrenâs Museum. Curators Paul Laster and RenĂ©e Riccardo are positioning craft as more than a playtime activity. The show looks at the relationship between the fine art world and the DIY explosionâfrom etsy crafters to hackers.
Artists: Derrick Adams, Sanford Biggers, Caroline Wells Chandler, Adam Frezza/Terri Chiao, Brad Kahlamer, Jon Kessler, LoVid, Jason Middlebrook, Rebecca Morgan, Carlos RolĂłn/Dzine

Trudy Benson & Yann Gerstberger: TT52
Trudy Benson and Yann Gerstbergerâs work makes so much sense together. Bensonâs collage-like oil paintings are full of references to modernist art history, but are such a process-based celebration of the mediumâs potential. Similarly, Gerstbergerâs genre-pushing tapestries convey a love of fiber as much as referencesâspecifically European modernismâs gaze towards the âexoticâ tropics and the influences of his recent relocation to Mexico City. Both artistsâ work feels as joyful as it is thoughtful, so if you need some cheering-up this week, this is the show for you.
Fri
Deli Gallery
10-16 46th Ave Queens, NY 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.Website
Lex Brown: Immortal Duck
Paddy Johnson raves about a performance piece Lex Brown did as an MFA student at Yale earlier this year, in which Brown was able to transform nearly any object she chose into a metaphor of her chosing. Lex Brown also writes erotic science fiction about social justice and climate change. And now, Lex Brown has a solo show of sculptures, works on paper, and performance inspired in part by Daffy Duck getting shot by Elmer Fudd. This is definitely an opening you donât want to miss.
Queenslab
1618 Decatur Street Ridgewood, NY 8:00 p.m.Website
Meredith Monk: Cellular Songs Work-in-Progress Preview
Multidisciplinary artist Meredith Monk and her Vocal Ensemble are previewing their work-in-progress Cellular Songs this weekend. The piece technically opens Thursday night with a gala hosted by designer Isaac Mizrahi and artist Jim Hodges (tickets start at $300/head) but will run Friday and Saturday nights with much more affordable $22 tickets ($15 for students).
Monk is one of the most critically acclaimed figures straddling the worlds of art, theater, and music, so this is a great opportunity to get a glimpse at her process. Cellular Songs is about humanityâs âinterdependent relationship with natureâ and will feature performers drawing inspiration from cellsâ biological processes. As nerdy as microbiology sounds, expect this to be a very cool experienceâthink strange sounds and movements inspired by mitosis.
Sat
Flux Factory
39-31 29th Street Queens, NY 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Website
Flux-a-Thon 2017
Flux Factoryâs second-annual Flux-a-Thon promises to be one of the seasonâs most unique fundraisers. Basically, attendees enter a parade in teams that compete before a panel of celebrity judges (the parade kicks off from from Flux Factory at 4 p.m. and ends at Plaxall Gallery at 5). Then itâs one big dance party.
We love any excuse to play dress up. One that benefits free public art programming and an artist residency is even better!
Whitney Museum of American Art
99 Gansevoort Street New York, NY 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.Website
Rafa Esparza and Nao Bustamante: Floating Gardens No. 2
In Floating Gardens No. 2, performance artists Rafa Esparza and Nao Bustamante will lead each other and the viewer on a strange procession through the first floor of the Whitney Biennial. Esparza will be using adobe bricks from his own installation to create a moving platform for the duo, continually laying and reconfiguring a path through the museum. Bustamante brings a great sense of gravity (but also humor) to every performance, so seeing this should be a memorable experience.
Jorge Andrew Gallery
251 Union Ave Brooklyn, NY 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.Website
Luz Angélica Fernåndez
Luz AngĂ©lica FernĂĄndezâs name means light. Itâs appropriate, then, that her paintings also work with the phenomenon. Sometimes on lightboxes, and sometimes on canvas, FernĂĄndez recall neon-soaked city streets, smoggy sunsets, and all the weird lighting we get in the megalopolis. FernĂĄndez is a native New Yorker (yes, there are some left in Brooklyn!) and her work makes references to the cityâs ebbs and flows, from graffiti and grime to the ever-creeping construction sites.

Art as a Tool for Resisitance with Social Practice Queens (SPQ)
The Queens Museum continues its current streak of politically-charged programming with two projects on Sunday. In âDEBTBANKâ, artists Alix Camacho Vargas and Jeff Kasper invite the public to discuss their own stories of debt at a pop-up theatrical âinfo deskâ (in English or Spanish). This piece will be in the museumâs West-side library from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30.
Meanwhile in the Unisphere gallery, Julian Phillips, Zaid Islam and Floor Grootenhuis will be hosting two sessions of âResistance Theaterâ with the public. This involves signmaking and theatrical exercises inspired by protest and authority. Participants should register by emailing [email protected].
 3A Gallery

Satoru Eguchi: Daymare Hangout
Satoru Eguchiâs playful installations often recall domestic interiors or workspaces. Here, though, Eguchi will be focusing on fountainsâan interest that grew out of the artistâs need to bring some small references to nature to New York after moving away from the seaside mountains of Japan. Eguchiâs work is charmingly weird, and if this drawing (of a human-faced cat inside a fountain?) is any indication, this wonât disappoint in that department.
