Danny Phantom the Sun God "Nika"

Danny is Nika! The ancient one, so the fruit is all called Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, just looks similar to him. But is much weaker than the original Nika or Danny were. The white hair and rumors about him made it called Nika fruit.

It all started when Danny was exploring the Ghost Zone, and as he looked through a few portals and doors, he saw in one of them a group of slavers. The first thing he did was jump and help them as Phantom.

Somehow, this led to the fact that Danny helped in the Many slave revolts and liberated many of them from their Chains and similar situations.

He found a friend in that gargantuan elephant, Zunesha, who let the saved Slaves be carried on his back. After he fought and won all battles, Danny had to leave for his time; Clockwork was calling him back. But he was happy about how much he had changed in such a short time.

I had the idea just because of the White Hair and watched the Prince of Egypt music video for Deliver Us!

Now that season 2 of good omens is only about a month away and everyone waiting has already watched season 1 and read the book multiple times, may I suggest something to tide you over while waiting:

When the Angels Left the Old Country by Sacha Lamb! Featuring an angel and a demon best-friend pair going on a trip together and being very confused by humans and their weird ways! It is very good!

The general tone is pretty humorous and light-hearted, the characters are fun, the mythology is fun, it’s all very jewish and very queer but light on romance (there’s an f/f subplot though!). The plot is less apocalyptic than Good Omens (they’re looking for a missing girl, not trying to stop armageddon) but equally as engaging.

In short: read When the Angels Left the Old Country, please, I beg of you, it deserves so much love

I feel like Japanese BLs use place and space and landscape differently. Perhaps it’s as simple as the fact that Japanese architecture and plant life looks different from Thai, Korean or Taiwanese architecture and plant life. Perhaps it’s just that the Japanese industry generally has higher budgets and more experienced/skilled people behind the camera, which creates a certain look. But there’s something about the use of space, either expansive and wide open, or closed-in and intimate that’s… I don’t know what it is, but it feels like it’s something.

This was brought on in part by watching Eternal Yesterday and then watching @iguessitsjustme’s HiraKoyoi video (which almost made me cry this time, now that I’m primed to). And they got thinking about the way there’s a certain… almost desolate emptiness? that’s not the right feeling. perhaps just… openness, realness, slight wildness… to the landscape in this trio of small town high school BL I’ve watched recently, the two above plus Takara-kun to Amagi-kun. Even Kabe Koji somehow felt that way when they returned to their hometown. Is that just what all small towns look like in Japan? (Are they even set in small towns?) Or are these locations deliberate choices.

And even in city settings there’s a certain way that buildings and spaces are shot, inside and out. But I don’t know enough about filmmaking techniques to say what it is.

If anyone else has any thoughts on this I’d love to hear them. I’ve never been to any of these countries and haven’t watched all that much other media from there, outside of BLs, so I have little context, just vague feelings.

Hey folks! Husband and I are trying to get some funds together to help bring him home once he's out of his contract.

All things considered, I don't want him making the 2900 mile drive by himself. So the goal is to make sure I can fly out to him first, and then we drive in his car from one side of the country to the other. There's a small buffer to also help cover the leave without pay that I'll have to take from work for this.

After my 80s/90s pop clone oc (Marcia), now I want to make a jazz-themed clone (or jizz I guess). Maybe a bass-player ? Or a trumpeter, oh that could be real good too *-* (the temptation of making them play the chindikalu flute is high because if I'm not wrong it's the space clarinet and that's my instrument 😋) Not a crooner by any means so no piano nor saxophone for them.

They'll need a suit, nice, relaxed and classy. Maybe a hat too.

Oh no. More ideas. One of their batcher plays the banjo and harmonica. The jazzman and the sad country boi drinking whisky and beer together. (And Marcia in the background with the most horrendously neon-colored and glittery cocktail that ever saw the light of the club, of course)

Thinking about a comic idea, because even with the amount of m/m hockey romances out there, none of them (so far) feature a Finnish love interest.

Why in the hockey romance books (specifically m/m) the love interest are never Finnish? NHL is teeming with Finnish boys to love!

And they would be such a delicious source of drama based on cultural differences!

Lets imagine an American hockey player, Steve and a Finnish player, Kimmo.

Steve is your regular loud, outgoing and positive guy, who first befriends Kimmo.

And to Steve, Kimmo is kinda weird. He drinks way too much coffee, seems to speak very little and communicates in mostly grunts and hums. He doesn't say please and seems to inhale while speaking.

On the ice Kimmo is unstoppable. He is like a different person. But off it, he is closed off, shy and his most common replies are monosyllables.

Steve is intrigued and he develops a crush. But flirting seems to go NOWHERE. Kimmo kinda just stares and says "okay" a lot.

To Steve's confusion, Kimmo starts following him around like a puppy, but nothing else seems to happen, no matter how much he flirts and bats his eyelashes at Kimmo.

Then Kimmo takes him to a Finnish style sauna and causes Steve to get a heart attack by stripping completely naked. ESCANDALO!

Finally Steve sits Kimmo down and tells straight to his face how he feels and Kimmo sorta shrugs and says "I know. I thought we were already dating". And Steve almost cries from frustration. Anyway, kissing happens and all seems to be well.

Then sex happens and afterwards Steve asks if it was good. But to his horror, Kimmo again shrugs and says "It was nice."

Steve spends days wondering if Kimmo is just humoring him, until a helpful Swedish player enlightens him that "it was nice" is Finnish for "it was amazing, I love you".

So, with the Swede as a little bit of cultural translator, Steve learns that Kimmo operates on quite a different level, and if the man smiles, it means he is happiest he has ever been.

After Vlad once again stole the Infi-map, Danny found him as the King of a Great Kingdom in a war against the whole World. He used the Weapons to make it easier. Danny meets the Twenty Rulers, who were Kings and Queens and would later create the World Government.

After the Void Country

History talked about the Champion/Angel of the Twenty (Danny), who was gifted rewards and favor by the Rulers in the form of armor, gold, or something similar. While there, he became good friends with Lili and her brother, And he spent most of his time with King Donquixote in the battles. After the fight, Danny left but warned them that Vlad could leave something to get summoned again. Just be careful, as he then left. Nefertari D. Lili thought the reason for the presence of the poneglyphs around the world was because she thought that way she could make Danny return to their World. If they once again need to fight that Tyrant.

All 20 did the immortality Operation, but most of them have gone to sleep or something similar. as there was nothing to do and the world would need them if Vlad and the Great Kingdom came back.

Book Mail! Book Mail! Book Mail!

I'm so happy to add these beautiful books to my shelves! I read and adored When The Angels Left the Old Country last year and needed a physical copy. The moment I found out about The Forbidden Book I decided I needed it. Now. So I bought both!

Don't tell me US politics don't affect other countries. I'm not from the US but since Trump won it's like all the assholes have been given permission to say the most vile things possible.

Since the US has influence almost everywhere (and I hate this fact with every fiber of my being), the ideology of its government ends up being something that impacts all the other countries where said government intervenes in any way, shape or form.

This week alone I've heard people celebrating and feeling justified in their hatred for minorities. People saying that "if the US hates women and queers then why shouldn't we??" People calling me names to my face and saying I don't deserve to have a job and that Trump is right because people like me should be eradicated.

I'm not from the US and I don't feel safe. I'm not from the US and I'm just as scared and angry. So damn angry, for me and the people like me who live in the US and outside of it but are affected anyway. I'm fucking furious that the US holds this amount of power over the rest of the world.
