J-1626 - Letter from Mother and Daddy to Lester E. Ford.
Record Group 242: National Archives Collection of Foreign Records SeizedSeries: German Reports of Downed Allied Fighters and Other Aircraft
Fri. June 16-44
J 1626
Dearest Lester,
I keep hoping every time we go to the
office will receive a letter from
you but as yet haven't, will be six
weeks Sun. since your wrote us
last & that seems a long time.
Surely they will soon be letting
you write.
We are really having warm
weather. I have been cleaning house
& putting away the winter clothes
this week.
H. [L.] Johnson died last Sun. he has
been having trouble with his heart
for a long time & he died suddenly.
You remember he was Vivian
Johnson's daddy.
The Scout's are making a flag with
all the boys names on it who
ever were scouts here, they are asking
for all names to be sent in - I sent yours in andthey are going to have court
of honor July 18th and the
mother of each boy is to
light a candle & then they
put the name on the flag.
Mr. Carter said he thinks his
boy is in England - I believe
he is on a bomber, you
remember he went to Salt Lake
City about the time you left.
[Bro] Wallace has gone to begin
his meetings for the summer
Bro. Foy Wallace Sr. and his wife
are to come today or tomorrow
& be here while Paul is gone.
Daddy & I have just been to
lunch, about all we had was
pie & milk, we just don't take
time to prepare much for noon,
we have our regular meals
most of time morning and
night.
Val Prahl is at home, I think

A bit of a guide, since I have so many stories
Dragon Universe stories: The Will of the Whispering (TWOTW), The Hostile Credence (THC), The Dragons' Cosmos (TDC), Planetary Boundaries (PB), Cashmere, and Brackish TWOTW: Lester, Mildred, and a lot of kids THC: Seth, Niven, Ewan, Dunn, Flick, Tessa, etc. Lots of characters here, but they're more likely to be mentioned alongside the ones I've just named. TDC: Roscoe, Noah, Sylvester and their families. Bircha and Afensi are dragons in this story. PB: Huge cast, but there's Bianca, Brooklyn, Dorian, Florian, Trace, Lucinda, Andy, etc. Cashmere: Toryn, Hadeon, Riley (this is a retired story, however, and I reused Toryn and Hadeon in Geckos - they are Duncan's father and stepfather) Brackish: Basil (Christian), Cassidy, Wendy, Imogen, and Alison are the main characters outside of family members. (Imogen has a twin brother and Alison is her little sister, and ofc Basil and Cassidy's families are brought up frequently). Oh, and Sidony, the most important character. (A DRAGON) Pleasure Seekers series is my asexual incubus story and has four books planned. Characters include Xavier, Zachary, Clarissa, Eloise, Daphne, Bernardo, Fenton, Bethany... I can't keep up with this one, honestly, there are also a lot of characters here. ;) Name the Frogs: Irving's dad, Nestor, is a villain. Serrated Petals: Roland is a villainfucker, and that villain is Otto, and he has a side piece named Luther. Roland's little half-brother, Stanley, is dragged into this bullshit. Seasons: Vivian, Graham, and a ton of seasonal children. Easy to spot by all the mentions of weather and seasonal affinities! Stargazers' Hill universe: Stargazers' Hill (SGH), Before our Ghosts (BoG), and Rascal. I'm going to sum this up with "I have a lot of feelings about Ambrose and Thaddeus and Ferdinand/Hazel is my OTP, and Opal is my wife... okay, she's not, but she should be." Untitled story about automatons, featuring childhood enemies, Warren and Henry Maureen Maribel is the name of the story and the name of the character that the story focuses on. This is the child actress story. The Elephants Always Come Back: Mirza, Boris, Fredrick, Hana, Gustav, Moswen, etc. Love them. I name my Halloween spiders after these characters. Initials for story are TEACB, I call it TEACUP bc it's cuter. Geckos, Automata: Julian, Mortimer, Kieran, Rosalia, and Duncan. AND GECKOS AND AUTOMATA. This one is for sale, please buy it? Little Horrors: Hervey and Algernon, but they're not the only characters. Littlespace story with a side of horror/spooky vibes! Where the Lanterns Glow: Nolwen and Evander story. The witch story. Originally called Double Double Witch Boy in Trouble because it was supposed to just be sexy. Skin from the River: Three river dads have to go find their dangerous river son who used the bones and such from his waters to form a human body. This one is horror. I have a bunch of others and no time, but most are short stories or still in development. Stay tuned, I have over 1000 characters at this point <3

The disassembly drones' former names
Tumblr media
I figured that I would share this headcanon with all of you sooner or later. You know each of the disassembly drones’ serial designations? Well, what if their letters were based off their former names back when they were worker drones? And I’m not talking about the first letter of their names. I’m talking about the name of the letter in each of their names. For example, N’s former name was probably either Kenneth, Bennett, or Leonard, and V’s former name probably either Venus, Vivian, or Genevieve. J’s former name was probably either Jamie or Jane, the latter of which I was initially going for Mary Jane (yes, the same name as the famous supporting character from Spider-Man). I’m unsure about CYN or Cynthia, though, largely because that she probably died long before the events of the series that she wasn’t converted into a disassembly drone. Besides, for all we know, she was going on a crazy, murderous rampage that she had to be put down. And if she was converted into a disassembly drone, her designation might be either C from the first letter of her name or T from a phonetic of her name (Cynthia).
The former names should go as followed:
A – Ada, Eva, Avery, Abraham, Adrian
B – Beatrice, Bianca, Phoebe; Sabine
C – Caesar, Cecil, Casey
D – Diesel, Delia, Deanna, Heidi, Nadine
E – Edith, Eden, Elaine, Ian
F – Efrem, Jeffrey, Stephanie
G – Giovanni, Georgina, Regina, Eugene
H – Rachel, Horatio
I – Isaac, Ivan, Isaiah, Ivy, Iris
J – Jane, Jamie, Jayden
K – Katie, Kayla, Casey
L – Eleanor, Elliot, Elias, Elvis, Elmer; Bella, Angelica, Melanie, Danielle, Michelle; Denzel
M – Emma, Emerald, Emmett, Emmerich, Clementine
N – Kenneth, Bennett, Benedict, Leonard, Henry
O – Ophelia, Olivia, Odette, Opal
P – Peter, Penelope
Q – Cueball, Queue
R – Archie, Armand, Charles, Harley
S – Essence, Estelle, Esther, Jessica, Lester, Marquess
T –  Christina, Valentina, Misty
U – Ulysses, Unity, Eunice, Eustace
V – Venus, Vivian, Genevieve
W – Winston, Wilson
X – Xavier, Rex, Alexander
Y – Wyatt, Wyvern, Wyoming
Z – Ezekiel, Lindsay, Suzie
I also want to share that I used to have a theory that J, N, and V used to be regular secretary drones before being converted into disassembly drones, as well as my former headcanon that N used to be friends with his assigned human coworker.
Anyway, that’s all I have for this headcanon for now. This might be re-edited soon, but if you’d like to add in some additions, feel free to do so in the replies and reblogs. You can use this list as an outline for your OCs if you want. And I’ll see you all next time.
P.S. If Uzi were to transform into a disassembly drone, should her designation be either U or Z?

James Louis Johnson (January 22, 1924 – February 4, 2001) was a jazz trombonist, composer, and arranger.
After studying the piano beginning at age 9, he decided to play trombone at the age of 14. He began his professional career with Clarence Love and played with Snookum Russell. In Russell’s band, he met the trumpeter Fats Navarro, who influenced him to play in the style of the tenor saxophonist Lester Young. He played in Benny Carter’s orchestra and made his first recordings under Carter’s leadership, recording his first solo (on Love for Sale). He took part in the first Jazz at the Philharmonic concert, presented in Los Angeles and organized by Norman Granz. He joined the big band Count Basie, touring and recording with him.
His work demonstrated that the slide trombone could be played in the bebop style.
The two-trombone jazz combo setup pioneered by him and Winding has been imitated by more recent trombonists, with such combinations as Jim Pugh/Dave Taylor, Conrad Herwig/Steve Davis, and Michael Davis/Bill Reichenbach.
Several of his compositions, including “Wee Dot”, “Lament”, and “Enigma” have become jazz standards.
He was a perennial polling favorite in jazz circles, even winning “Trombonist of the Year” in Down Beat magazine. He was voted into the Down Beat Hall of Fame.
While touring Japan in December 1988, he learned that his wife Vivian had suffered a bad stroke, which incapacitated her for the rest of her life. During this period he canceled all work, devoting his energy to caring for his ailing wife. After she died in 1991, he dedicated an album to her on Concord.
He married Carolyn Reid (1992-2001) and he began performing again. Following this second comeback in 1992, his contracts with a variety of record labels, including Verve and Antilles, resulted in five albums as a leader, from small groups to separate brass orchestra and string orchestra recordings, as well as sideman appearances with his leading disciple, trombonist Steve Turre, and the vocalist Abbey Lincoln. He earned several Grammy nominations during this period. He retired from active performing and touring in late 1996. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

Resident main antagonist and boss lady! She cares very deeply about what she does. She was the one who took Varsha in as a trainee and was her primary mentor during the process. As a result, she has asmittedly developed a soft spot for her, though tries not to let it get in the way of what’s important. A bit intimidating, but hey, as long as you’re not a werewolf she’s pretty chill for the most part!

Work Criteria
For awhile, I wanted to make my work something that would always be fun to do. Now I'd rather have a job that provides well, while affording me flexibility.
If I want to grind super hard, or take a week off and focus on art, or live as a digital nomad, thats great!
My hope is service design is a good fit for this: improving the value for customers, effective processes for business, and integrating technology. It's consulting. We help you realize your vision, find opportunities and solutions.
I will be happy if I make $2k/mo working remote. On the side, I'll do photography, film, music, adventure, language learning, sleeping, anything I want. I hope over time, I hope to earn more and work less.
How does it feel?
I get to connect with the curious and loving souls of others. People like Lester, Milly, Moon, Tanya, Izzy, Noah, Vivian, Shin, Jihee, Sage, Nate, and new friends too.
I get to zone deep into my work. Explore my clients worlds. Map out their business. Interview all different types of people. Then tap out, explore the world, see new things, experience new things, swim, hike, relax, create.
I want a space that rings with freedom. Big open space or big windows, the breeze in my hair, the outside air even if it's hot summer or cold winter. I want to be surrounded by high quality healthy food, a gym for exercise, my own space for meditation. I'll eat noodles, boodha bowls, gallo pinto. I'll wake up and get to eat yummy fried tortillas with fresh vegetables and fruits. I'll be able to give: presents, meals, artwork, colors, support and teaching. I'll hear the sound of birds, sizzling tortillas, the wind, bicycle tires.
Most importantly, I will have inner satisfaction. I will be full of gratitude, have a clear mind, unconditional patience and love for others.
I'll be able to buy whatever I want at the grocery store, including things I won't know if I'll enjoy. I'll be able to spend without worry: get a bike, train tickets, even rent a car without thinking too hard, and I'll just feel excited.
My work life will be social and dynamic. I help facilitate improvement for companies. I get to collaborate with passionate people, serious people, social people smart people. I have meetings, presentations, consulting open chats. I share my knowledge, skills, and experience. I create visuals, graphics, plans. After work I get to reward myself by going out to eat and trying new healthy foods like Japanese pumpkin barley soup.
Work will still feel like work, because it always will. My problems will be having too many clients I have to say no. Having to protect my free time to do art. I will have to get motivated to workout every other day. I'll have to snap into the zone with work. Use forest and livestreams to stay in my zone.
I commit to this being my next goal. I will take the opportunities that come to me, however scary, to make this my life.
I will stop complaining.
