this is a story inspired by ‘lirim’ by virus138 on ao3. if virus138 wishes for me to take this work down, i will. this world is their intellectual property and this is, essentially, a (very dark) fanfiction that honestly has very little in common with the original.

summary: finn and alfie are kidnapped by 'alphas' - a type of human that is stronger, faster, and isn't born but rather created by biting and bonding to a human. with time running out before being bonded to their alphas and considered their legal property, will finn and alfie be able to make it out alive, despite everything their captors put them through?

Ennoshita’s sister happily scooped curry onto her spoon, but then paused and glanced at her brother, ‘’aren’t you happy for me?’’ she asked with that lightly entitled, snobby voice she possessed. 1: what inspired you to write the fic this way?

Now I'm not sure what "this way" refers to... as a longfic stretching over three years? That was definitely not planned (send help)

As a medieval AU? I always had those in my head and in my eye they only work with either cisswapping or A/B/O because damn the female percentage in KnB is low.

And I was very inspired by Game of Thrones, a multitude of other medieval AUs and also "A Warrior's Heart" by @donguris (which is awesome, I need to get back to it omg) because wow, that fic has some awesome worldbuilding. I was also inspired by the "Hyndestane Kings Never Die" series on Ao3 by Virus138 which is an original work! 😊

Writing HitH the way I did just happened.

11: What do you like best about this fic?

Ooooof.... I really like how their relationship developed. I was afraid of rushing the Slow Burn and ended up them being what 50 chapters in before a confession 😅

I love the commenters. They are always so passionate and excited and it makes me passionate and excited!

If I had to choose a favourite chapter, it would probably be "The Mole". Man, that was fun to write.
