Activists and foreign actors have infiltrated the city’s public schools with anti-Israel materials, fostering bias and hatred of Jews, according to a new report by a nonprofit think tank.
Teacher groups like NYC Educators for Palestine have collaborated with extremist organizations, some allegedly tied to hostile foreign governments and terrorist groups, to bring “radical, anti-American ideologies” into schools, said the Network Contagion Research Institute, or NCRI, and the advocacy group New York City Public School Alliance, which co-wrote the report.
“The report exposes how the Department of Education’s vetted resources enable radical sympathizers to shape young minds with biased information,” said Tova Plaut, a DOE pre-K coordinator and co-founder with teacher Karen Feldman of NYCPS Alliance, a group of Jewish educators who contributed to the project.

Set for release this week, the report cites DOE documents, school events and staff social media posts as evidence of its findings.
It calls on the DOE to immediately conduct a curriculum review; enforce the chancellor’s anti-discrimination policies; adopt a definition of antisemitism and mandate training on it; and increase oversight of foreign funding.
“If these ideas are left unchecked, they will be internalized by a new generation of students, who will then  graduate, attend university, vote, enter the workforce, and raise families of their own, further embedding antisemitic beliefs into wider American society,” the NCRI and NYC Public Schools Alliance said.
Among the findings:
The DOE’s recommended resources for teachers include the Zinn Education Project, which provide lessons, workshops and articles highly critical of Israel and the US.
The DOE staff resource list links to the Zinn website, which features a section on “Teaching About Palestine-Israel and the Unfolding Genocide in Gaza” that claims, “Israel has turned Gaza into a ‘graveyard for children.”
Beacon High School in Midtown used Zinn lessons and articles, along with videos from Arab news network Al Jazeera, for a 10th-grade social studies class on the Israel-Palestine conflict, emails reviewed by The Post show.
The content “demonized Jews” while referring to Hamas as “a political party and militant group,” not as terrorists, parents said.
Other resources available for NYC teachers to use at “their discretion” include those from the Teach Palestine project, which gives materials that emphasize “Palestinian victimhood” and frame Zionism as a “colonialist” movement.
Teach Palestine is financially supported by the Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA), a California-based nonprofit with reported ties to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization.
In May, the PTA of Ella Baker School, a public elementary on the Upper West Side, hosted a “Teach Palestine” webinar, sponsored by Rethinking Schools, the report said.
Materials covered topics such as “anti-Zionism is not automatically antisemitism,” and “Israel’s attacks on children, schools, and historical memory in Palestine.”
These potentially violate Chancellor’s Regulation A-830, according to the report. 
The report cites two groups, NYC Educators For Palestine, an arm of the UFT caucus MORE, and Teaching While Muslim, which hosted a virtual “curriculum share” for 80 teachers in February.

we never really did get an explicit answer for how elnora was able to turn the lfrith into aerial. before notrette ended up being a big bag of nothing, her involvement seemed to have been the fan favorite for secret backer. i read some theory like in the last week saying that maybe it was delling all along and then he was unhappy that she sent aerial to asticassia and suletta ended up engaged to miorine hence the entirety of episode 2 and him trying to get the gundam away from miorine. not really sure i buy it but you could argue that later on when she tells him to call her elnora samaya while theyre talking about quiet zero that it's possible she had been collaborating with him under the prospera mercury moniker

Student Loans: DOJ Says Overruling Biden’s Forgiveness Could Lead to Lawsuits Over ‘Virtually All Federal Action’

While the fate of borrowers’ loan repayments remains in limbo until the end of February, experts are waiting with apprehension of what an upheld Supreme Court ruling will mean, not only for federal student loan cancellation, but for future legal arguments on federal policy.

The Supreme Court will hear arguments on the legitimacy of President Biden’s plan to forgive up to $20,000 in student debt for federal borrowers making under $125,000 on Feb. 28. On Jan. 4, the Department of Justice (DOJ) submitted a filing to justify the legality of Biden’s program.
According to Business Insider, as part of its 86-page brief, the DOJ expressed concern that if the Supreme Court decides to stand by the 8th Circuit’s November ruling and invalidate Biden’s debt forgiveness program, it will set a bad precedent for future legal judgments.
The federal student loan forgiveness plan has been delayed since October due to two lawsuits filed by GOP-endorsed groups. The suits — one led by six Republican-led states arguing relief would hurt their states’ tax revenues and diminish the value of investments tied to student loans, and another by two student loan borrowers who did not qualify for the full $20,000 amount of relief — have been refuted by the Biden administration as baseless and politically-motivated.
Complicating the state-led lawsuit — pursued by Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and South Carolina — is the involvement of a third party, St. Louis-based student loan company MOHELA, which has been dragged into the legal challenge by the state of Missouri. MOHELA, one of America’s largest student loan servicers, currently has a contract with the federal government to service student loans.

Missouri contends that MOHELA will lose money under Biden’s relief program because it will have fewer student loan accounts to manage, make less money and “will make it more difficult for MOHELA to make required payments to a state fund that helps its public colleges and universities,” according to Politico.
If the Supreme Court quashes this particular cancellation program and rules in favor of the plaintiffs in the two cases it is hearing in February, it could have “startling implications” for future claims, according to the filing.
“Virtually all federal action — from law enforcement to collecting taxes to managing property — has some side effect on government finances,” the filing read. “If such side effects were enough to stand, then every state would have the right to challenge almost any federal policy.”
“(B)anks could sue anyone who causes financial harm to their borrowers, credit-card companies could sue anyone who causes financial harm to their customers, and governments could sue anyone who causes financial harm to their taxpayers,” it adds.

The current student loan pause extension runs through 60 days after June 30, 2023, or whenever the lawsuits are resolved — whichever happens first. VSquare and partners discovered numerous instances in which the managers and anti-money laundering (AML) officers of cryptocurrency firms were blatantly unfit for their jobs, ill-prepared for the work, and facing severe financial difficulties: dozens of crypto firms were run by taxi drivers, welders, and social welfare recipients.
Many of the enterprises left Estonia for other European nations, including Lithuania, when the government started to tighten regulations and revoke licences. This demonstrates how changing the system in one nation doesn’t actually affect anything.
“Usually I was just a shell; I didn’t work with the transactions. I didn’t know what kind of millions went through there,” says Sergei Bezrodny, an unemployed plumber from the Estonian town of Tartu. His public LinkedIn profile claims he has almost 20 years of experience in finance and banking, but Bezrodny is surprised to learn about it and says it is a “mistake”.
Nevertheless, Bezrodny has held directorships in 24 global bitcoin companies in the past.
Really, I don’t want to discuss it. I had enough issues with that back then, and it was a long time ago,” he recalls.
His career in Estonian finance was cut short when banks began to cancel his accounts due to concerns about money laundering, and he currently declares himself jobless.
“I had to establish all of my accounts in Lithuania,” the jobless plumber says.
“I just sit at home now.”
Massive sums of money laundering across the European Union have resulted from the “virtual assets” licence system that was implemented in 2017 and that the Estonian state marketed to the world as groundbreaking and inventive. However, the system quickly spread like wildfire, with shady businesses operating in the jurisdiction.
International con artists exploited the phrase “licensed in the EU” as a marketing tool, using the jurisdiction to instil confidence in their illicit ventures. As a result, 1644 bitcoin businesses with licences have been operating in Estonia for the past six years, or one for every 800 citizens.
Just three Estonian business creation agencies are connected to 40% of those.Two of them gave the businesses “AML (anti-money laundering) compliance officers.” VSquare and its affiliates, including Delfi (Estonia), Siena (Lithuania), Fronstory.pl (Poland), Paper Trail Media, Der Spiegel, ZDF (Germany), and Der Standard (Austria), have demonstrated that a large number of the “specialists” employed by these cryptocurrency companies were insolvent individuals looking for a quick pay period rather than having any experience with money laundering compliance.
We found that a welder barred from conducting business, a homeless individual, a taxi driver in severe debt, and an unemployed plumber were all connected to over 60 cryptocurrency companies as official directors or AML officers.
Even though more than 1500 cryptocurrency businesses have had their licences revoked since Estonia began to amend its outdated laws, this hasn’t meant that the owners have ceased operations. Numerous them relocated to other European countries, such as Lithuania, which is currently home to more than 800 virtual asset businesses.
The majority of Estonia’s crypto businesses are owned by Russians and Ukrainians.

The resolutions to reappoint Mr. Rajinder Mittal as Managing Director and increase his and Mr. Kushal Mittal's remuneration also saw strong support, with a majority of votes in favor.
