Okay, multiversal casino staff and a bit of lore before I get too sucked into my hyperfixations and forget about it

Origin/Main concept : The multiverse casino was originally made to be a hangout spot for people from other universes, somewhere where they could relax and discover other universes. This worked, but eventually they needed more Staff to help out on all the floors.

Why these specific characters for staff members? (Staff members are shown later) : I picked from my favorite characters from various fandoms (excluding any of my favorite children characters (theres only one here cause theyre celestes friend.)) and threw them here, they're all categorized by the card categorization I have.

Categorizations : There's both the card symbol organization, there will be a section for it at the end of the staff lists.

How does the multiverse casino get its staff? : they find almost exact copies of the universe they're trying to get a staff member from, and they talk to the person they're trying to bring in and see if they'd like to join. Old staff members get their memories of the casino entirely wiped before being returned back to their universes like nothing happened (this essentially happens whenever I leave a fandom)

Quick Overview of the Dawntrail Healers

The Dawn will be upon us soon, so I wanted to give a quick overview of the new healer tools! The official Job Guide has been updated (including Viper and Pictomancer) so go take a look if you're interested :)

(I say quick overview and then there's AST)

At Level 94, all healers and casters will see Swiftcast's CD reduced to 40s (down from 60s).

Now for the individual stuff:

*For clarity: nuke-AoE = "deals X damage to main target and reduced damage to all nearby enemies" ; regular AoE = equal damage

Unless otherwise stated, the following abilities are unlocked from 92->100 in the usual 2-level increments.

White Mage

Retroactively at L40, Whm gets a gap closer

Presence of Mind followup attack: a new nuke-AoE (3 uses)

Glare 3, Dia, and Blood Lily damage potency upgrade

Medica 2 upgrade

Second charge of Tetragrammaton

Under Temperance, Whm has access to a party-wide barrier. Party members receive a HoT when the barrier expires**

Scholar

Effective from L66, Chain Stratagem's duration has been increased from 15s -> 20s

Chain Stratagem followup attack: a new AoE DoT

Potency upgrade to Broil 4 and Biolysis

Succor upgrade

Recitation CD reduced to 60s

Scholar's L100 ability Seraphism is a 20s active mode (like Temperance/Neutral Sect) that does the following:

AoE HoT for the full duration

Resets the Emergency Tactics CD and sets the CD to 1s

Upgrades Adloquium and Succor's heal value

Essentially, this provides Scholar with a lot of GCD healing power on top of a team-wide HoT. Dissipation is locked for the duration, but all other Fairy abilities are available.

Finally there's a button-mapping change: Summon Seraph no longer changes to Consolation when using Seraph, meaning you MUST map Consolation to your hotbar.

Sage

Retroactively at L82, Sage gets an AoE DoT

New nuke-AoE

Soteria CD reduced from 90s -> 60s

Dosis 3, Toxikon 2, and Pneuma damage potency upgrade

Eukrasian Prognosis upgrade

Physis 2's healing action buff is extended from 10s -> 15s

Sage's L100 ability Philosophia buffs healing magic (GCDs) for 20s and adds a buff to nearby party members that restores party HP upon using spells (again, GCDs). This is almost like giving the entire party Kardia, but the key difference here is this applies to both offensive and healing spells. Meaning, using GCD heals such as Prognosis and Diagnosis will trigger the additional healing just as Dosis will.

Astrologian

Effective at lower levels, Combust and Combust 2 have been buffed slightly

For all levels, Divination's duration has been increased from 15s -> 20s

Divination followup attack: a new AoE

Combust 3 and Fell Malefic potency upgrade

Aspected Helios upgrade

Third charge of Essential Dignity

Under Neutral Sect, Ast has access to a party-wide 10% mitigation**

As for the card changes, the cards you draw are no longer random. Ast will draw three major arcana and one minor arcana at once. Each card now has a unique effect and are grouped under Astral and Umbral sets:

Astral Set

Balance: 6% damage buff for melee/tank, 3% if other

Arrow: Increases recovery via healing actions

Spire: Barrier

Lord of Crowns: AoE damage

Umbral Set

Spear: 6% damage buff for ranged/healer, 3% if other

Bole: 10% damage reduction

Ewer: HoT

Lady of Crowns: AoE heal

Redraw and Undraw are gone. The old Draw button will be replaced by Astral Draw and Umbral Draw, which share a button that switches from one set to the other. This means you are forced to rotate through both sets. From what I've seen, Ast loads into the instance with the Astral cards drawn, meaning that Umbral Draw will be your first button. The CD of the new Draw is 60s.

You will now have three separate Play buttons, in addition to the minor arcana button. The cards are paired as follows: Balance/Spear, Arrow/Bole, Spire/Ewer, Lord/Lady. (The table above is arranged by the same pairs)

The Seal system is also gone, which includes Astrodyne.

A button mapping change: Macrocosmos no longer changes to Microcosmos automatically. You must map Microcosmos to your hotbar separately.

Lastly, Aspected Helios now unlocks at L40 (previously L42), which basically ensures Asts will have it for Cutter's Cry and Stone Vigil.

**In case this wasn't clear, Whm and Ast's L100 abilities are NEW buttons. You control the timing of their activation but can only do so under Temperance/Neutral Sect.

And no doubt the midwife and the septa in service to House Mallister would agree.

Nyx Mallister was born dark of hair, with mismatched eyes that seemed to pierce the soul. And she utilized that charm to great effect when sent to King's Landing, her mission plain - disrupt any talks of marriage between the Seven Kingdoms and the empire of Essos, and not to return home empty handed. Nyx did not secure a marriage - a paranoid queen makes for a difficult target - but she secured an important advantage.

Nyx had never known a mother's love, so that one thing is difficult to give. But for a little girl with golden curls and tyrian hues (a clear miniature of the father in question), it was important that a facsimile be created. All the better to keep a sweet dragonseed more embedded with her mother, until such a time the ace is played.

como es habitual en la increíble ciudad de los ángeles, grandes marcas y figuras deciden unirse en la celebración del día de los enamorados, pues fiesta propone ser para todos, ¡incluso aquellos que maldicen el amor! tinder decide hacer una gran jugada publicitaria al asociarse con viper room, una de las discotecas más reconocidas e icónicas de la ciudad, para llevar a cabo fiesta temática. sin embargo, premisa acaba por ser diferente a las demás. por un lado, primera pista confirma la devoción por el color rosa y los corazones, fiel a lo que el amor refiere. pero segunda pista invita a una zona menos vibrante en la que lidera la gama de grises y el color negro. ¿por qué no también festejar el desamor?

17 de febrero, 10 pm.

en la entrada de viper room ya se ha formado una fila pero, como buena ciudad anclada a sus celebridades, aquellos con renombre en los angeles pueden ahorrarse dicho proceso. para el resto, la espera no es mucho más larga pero aún así se hace notar. al ingresar, el color fucsia y el rosa chicle destacan en el lugar, luces estroboscópicas que hacen que todo brille y encandile todavía más. no que el lugar en sí lo necesite, pues todo se encuentra perfectamente arreglado y puesto en su lugar para crear la fantasía a la que se invita a los asistentes. del techo cuelgan corazones inflados con helio y a la izquierda paredón invita a todos a sacarse una foto, ¡sin excepción! por otro lado, un photobooth destaca entre la multitud de gente para fotografiar a los valientes que decidan inmortalizar el momento en la típica tira de cuatro imágenes. eso sí, beso que suceda en la cabina, ahí mismo quedará, ¡no vale contarle al resto qué estuvieron haciendo! en la pista de baile, cotillón es repartido sin ningún tipo de limitación: anteojos en forma de corazón, vinchas y coronas de corazones a la par de algún que otro arco y flecha. ¿alguien dispuesto a jugar a ser cupido? porque organizadores de la fiesta sí lo están, por lo cual proponen que todo invitado pueda enviar regalos al resto de los presentes en forma de piropo. ¿alguien llama tu atención? envíale el cóctel especial para la ocasión: candy champagne; irá acompañado de algo dulce y le dejarán saber que se lo envías tú. y no te preocupes, porque en la fiesta se celebra a los valientes y si decides enviar dicho obsequio, éste corre a cuenta de la casa. por otro lado, la segunda pista abre un panorama diferente. corazón espejado con flechas cuelga del techo en el centro cual bola de disco en referencia al desamor o amor no correspondido. ¿hace falta desquitarse y maldecir? al fondo hay un área especial para romper corazones con martillos, en la entrada entregan las gafas de seguridad y prometen que es la actividad perfecta para descargarse y reír sin parar. y si lo que quieres es un trago, no te preocupes, pociones anti amor en forma de petacas están siendo repartidas de manera gratuita entre la multitud. sabemos que muchos utilizan oportunidad para recurrir a la venganza, por lo que en caso necesario, ve a la derecha al pequeño cuarto de vudú, allí podrás asignarle un nombre a unos de los muñecos y clavar un pequeño corazón roto en su pecho antes de enviárselo como cortesía, ¡para que no se atreva a olvidar!

¡hola, amores! no se imaginan lo emocionadas que estamos por esta actividad. es una en la que pensamos mucho hasta dar con la idea y las dinámicas que nos parecieron perfectas. así que les pedimos que por favor lean con atención todos los detalles que les compartimos a continuación:

la fiesta es una sola y no es necesario que los personajes asistan a una sola de las pistas, pueden ir y venir entre la parte de san valentín y la de anti san valentín sin problemas. simplemente se hizo esa distinción para que sea más divertido y se adapte a los intereses de todes.

¡muéstrennos sus outfits! eso sí, deben tener un corazón rosado o rojo, o blanco o negro, ya sea en la ropa o en algún accesorio (pin, collar, etc.).

la actividad se desarrollará a través de starters. sin embargo, permitiremos que abran dos convos privadas por personaje y a elección. no será posible darle prioridad a dichos threads.

como se menciona en la ambientación, podrán enviarse tragos y muñecos a lo largo de la fiesta. sin embargo, eso no se encuentra actualmente habilitado. les dejaremos saber en qué momento podrán hacerlo junto con las reglas para que sea divertido y ordenado.

a la par, la fiesta tendrá una importante intervención.

She's supposed to look rather neat and proper, a callback to how Enid tries to fit in the werewolf model her mother gives her but as you continue through the show her hair will proceed to get wilder and wilder before eventually she doesn't tie her hair anymore

Viper is literally just Wednesday's hair during the raven, ill figure out better symbolism for her later

Log 10.28.81 20:19: Today was very full. Woke up early and made my way to the radioactive field. Got that igniting agent from a field. Found some good stuff in a crashed car south of that. Crushed some more Vipers. Got everything back to the religious ghouls and by the Gods the rockets actually fucking launched.

Then I made my way back to Novac. Manny, that sniper, told me Checkers and the Khans were heading to Boulder City. I'll catch up in a bit, first I decided to check out HELIOS One. NCR considers me a friend, so no worries there. Mr. Fantastic, an imbecile, with a "theoretical" degree in physics is in charge. A Follower though, Ignacio, much more reasonable. Had a long discussion about a hidden super weapon. Gonna reroute power to the whole grid to ensure equality. Thats tomorrow though.

I hacked my way into a locked up Maintenance Closet. Low and behold it had some Brotherhood secrets. Managed to pick up a fresh weapon, special made, Tesla Revolver. Might be tempted to double back around, seems maybe there was something at Black Mountain? Though I'm not sure I'd stand a chance there, radio makes it sound like that place is crawling with anti human Super Mutants.
