You know that when Daniel hits them with his disinterested, emotionless, 'uh-huh,' while staring into the abyss, he’s not believing a single thing coming out of their mouth.

an attempted tl of some things from this live report~~~
Aizo: The wild(?) guy of LIPxLIP. His image colour is yellow. According to Yujiro, on the day of the concert, he had started to practice the call and response bits in “Oshi no Mahou” from the moment they entered the venue.
A Message for the Julieta who had Attended the Concert:
Aizo: Thanks a bunch for coming, Julieta!! The contract that you made with us will never be broken for as long as we live, so let’s stay connected forever and ever.
Yujiro: The cool(?) guy of LIPxLIP. His image colour is blue. According to Aizo, he watches videos of rabbits as he likes soft and fluffy objects.
A Message for the Julieta who had Attended the Concert:
Yujiro: I hope that it had been a wonderful concert that will stay in your hearts and minds forever. The two of us will never forget that dreamlike moment either. Thank you, Julieta.
An Exclusive Interview with LIPxLIP!
Q: What was the most memorable part of the concert?
Aizo: It’s been a while since we last got to perform at a concert where we could cheer as much as we wanted, but it felt super amazing when we did that perfect call and response with everyone! I’m certain that I was the one who had the most fun at the venue (laughs).
Yujiro: I can vividly recall the sounds of cheers and the sights of the smiles on everyone’s faces from the very moment we began to sing our first song, Chocokano. The way the sea of penlights illuminated our Julieta had truly been a beautiful sight.
Q: Give us the inside scoop on the concert!
Aizo: After both performances had ended, I heard Yujiro sniffling a little. He seemed to be holding it in to avoid getting caught, but I’m pretty sure that he was crying.
Yujiro: What are you talking about? Your voice sounded pretty stuffy too, Aizo. You kept wiping your sweat, claiming that it was hot, but you were actually wiping your tears away, weren’t you?
Q: Please give a message to your Julieta.
Aizo: Our performances have yet to end! For the sake of seeing your smiles, Julieta, we’ll continue to deliver many new songs to you from here on out.
Yujiro: I hope that we’ll be able to meet the Julieta who couldn’t make it to this concert someday. The both of us, as LIPxLIP, will do our very best with our combined efforts to make that happen, so please continue to support us, okay?

Their 4th song, Meoto, was also another song that they had performed for the first time at this concert. It is a love song about a husband and wife whose love story had begun with their political marriage. In the music video, Yujiro starred in the role of the wife, and Aizo was cast as the husband, who happened to be a horned demon.
As I watched with bated breath, wondering how it would be performed live, the intro to the song began to play, and at that moment, I saw that Aizo had wrapped his arms around Yujiro’s back, and he looked to be embracing him?!
And thus the ephemeral yet bewitching world where no one else existed but just the two of them began to unfold…! Beneath the red stage lighting, the wife and husband gradually opened their hearts to each other. Yujiro, who had drawn from his experience in kabuki training, delivered a gorgeous performance in the role of the woman, which was beautiful down to the tiniest of his gestures. Aizo, on the other hand, had sealed off his usual smiles to play his role of an awkward, taciturn husband.
Like, how could your heart not pound at the actions of a husband gently draping a haori over his wife’s shoulders out of worry for her health, with the scene playing out as if it was synched up with the lyrics of the song? No, of course it would.
They exchanged passionate gazes, joined their hands, cupped each other’s cheeks, and, as the icing on the cake, they had even choreographed a kiss…!! Make no mistake, they have captivated their Julieta with their love story in Meoto.
A Sneak Peek of Their Emcee Portion
Yujiro: Ah right, Aizo started practising the call and response from Oshi no Mahou from the moment we arrived at the venue, isn’t that right?
Aizo: Well it’s fine, right?! I was looking forward to doing it after all. We haven’t had many songs with calls and responses, right? I think it’d be weirder if you weren’t looking forward to doing it at the concert.
Yujiro: But you kept looking at me and asking “What is it, what is it~?”, even though I didn’t say anything, didn’t you?
Aizo: You should’ve just gone along with it! Since there are two of us here, y’know! This guy over here just ignored me even when I said “Take this! It’s the Magic of your Idol!”, y’know?
Yujiro: It’s because I’m not a fan of you, Aizo.
Aizo: Geez, you’re so not cute! You were the one who was going all “I wonder if I look more cunning like this.” in front of the mirror for ages.
Yujiro: Well, of course. I have to show our Julieta the best parts of myself at all times. You there who’s waving your penlight, and you from all the way over there, you’ve fallen even more in love with me, haven’t you? (*Fanservices with a finger heart*)
Aizo: That’s no fair! Take this! It’s the Magic of your Idol from me too! Thank you! But come to think of it, Meoto is also a song with a fresh concept from our usual songs, right?
Yujiro: It sure is. I especially like our music video for it, since it allowed me to show off everything I had learned to do thus far. You were captivated by me too, weren’t you, Aizo?
Aizo: Well, you looked really good for sure, and I think you looked beautiful.
Yujiro: Eh? …Thanks. Ah, you had a different vibe than usual too, and you looked really cool yourself, Aizo.
Aizo: R-really…? Well, I guess so…!
Yujiro: But you did receive a warning from our costumer because you kept bumping into all sorts of things with your horns, right?
Aizo: Wha… Well I couldn’t help it, y’know! I couldn’t get a good grasp of my spatial awareness with the horns on. I’m really, truly, sorry for what happened back there, costumer! (*Bows repeatedly towards the wings of the stage*)
Yujiro: Ahaha.

wild to me to see posts like "wow everything in the tempest is named after shakespeare...emet you melodramatic bitch you sure loved theater". because the prospero-emet thing gets played up so hard in the english script and you can carry it so far!
like prospero is an asshole magician who, after being deposed by his brother as duke of milan, settles himself and his daughter on a remote island, enslaves the local spirits using his magic, and bitterly plots to reclaim his past glories. he rules through violence and deceit, and only survives and is reconciled when his plots reach their fruition and his brother is taken to his remote island and plots ensue and everyone decides he was totally right all along and they were huge dicks to him and they're sooooo sorry and he gets to go back and be duke again wow! and it's okay because he's like "i was only doing mean magic to get my rightful spot back and now i'm giving it up because magic is evil. :)"
the tempest is what emet wants his life to be. prospero is not a villain in the text of the tempest. he is barely treated as antagonistic by the text and framing of the play itself. all his abuses, his neglect and control of his daughter, his enslavement of caliban and ariel (local spirits/monsters/people of the island), his deception and plots against his brother, his abuse of magical powers (not awesome, from the pov of the contemporary audience), all that ultimately gets swept aside in the rightness of his return to milan and the warm feeling of the world being set to rights. prospero can't undo the years he spent on the island but they are ultimately a blip in his life before he returns to the rightful state of affairs. his abuse and enslavement of caliban, easily the worst thing he does in the play, is totally set aside when caliban goes "wow now i see how truly benevolent my master is. i love him and see the ways of christian good and i'm so, so appreciative he chose not to kill or beat me even though he totally could have and would have been in the right. he's so just and intelligent." everyone loves and forgives him and they all agree both his management of the island and his ultimate return are so good and so wise and so right.
emet comparing himself to the tempest (or being compared to it, depending on how you want to read the diegetic status of the place names) is absolute wishcasting. it is an attempt to manifest the happy ending he will never, ever get because his sins cannot and would not be forgiven in the way he wants. he wants to imagine himself as the righteous returned duke whose crimes, including the enslavement, abuse, and exploitation of those he saw as his rightful inferiors, were totally worth it, i promise. and if emet is prospero, the warrior of light is his caliban.

Oh well that makes it alright to report them to the fucking feds then! /s
Genuinely xe is a fucking threat to so many people on this site just by virtue of reporting people to the feds. Xe’s trying to do actual tangible harm, and that’s not even getting into the outright harassment of Palestinians like 90-ghost

Clancy Lyall has a different spin on the Norman Dike story. Lyall, who along with Lieutenant Jack Foley was “right next to Dike,” said their commander had been shot in the right shoulder. That wounding was what caused Dike to stop, not panic, as depicted in the miniseries. “People who saw this movie think the man was a coward because he was hollering, but he got shot in the shoulder,” Lyall said. Lyall said he mentioned Dike’s wounding to Winters at the film’s premiere, saying the filmmakers “shouldn’t do that. The man wasn’t a coward.” “The man has grandkids, and what are they going to say? ‘My grandpa was a coward’? If he was or wasn’t, you don’t do that shit,” Lyall told me. Lyall said what other veterans say about Dike “is their business,” but he feels the movie’s treatment of Dike was unfair. “I don’t care if the man was scared or whatever,” he said. “You don’t go telling everybody. Christ, he was there. That’s more than almost everyone else in the world was, right? Every one of us who was there was scared, and if he says he wasn’t, he’s a damned liar or he wasn’t there. That’s the truth.”
~ Larry Alexander
