Ethylene glycol leaked
A staff complained about bad odor spreading only in his office. So we had sniffingly look all around office to catch the bad odor.
That fucking odor spread from false ceiling of his office. Eventually the cause of bad odor was ethylen glycol. Glycol was accumulated in a drip-pan located below air-conditioner installed on false ceiling.
The exact spot where the glycol was leaked was the valve joint side of the air conditioner. There was a crack in the valve joint, and it’s status was tear and wear. To safely replace a valve, we closed the main/branch v/v and replaced them with new ones.
