Hiii! I thought I'd throw the question back at you! Do you have any Rooks in mind?

Hiii!! Thank you so much for asking, that's so sweet! I do have my first Rook planned (and at least one other percolating cause the Mourn Watch background is so interesting)

His name is Vergil and he's an elven Crow that I plan on playing as a spellblade mage since I'm really excited about the concept of a rogue-mage specialization!

He's trans masc

He views the Crows in a similar light as Teia does - they're his family. His birth family treated him poorly, and he rationalizes the training the Crows put their recruits through as "at least this has a purpose".

When he was taken into the Crows, he asked his Talon to give him a new name to go with his new surname, so he became Vergil de Riva.

He was trained in seduction and infiltration, and he has several aliases he uses outside of Vergil and Rook. He's quite good with accents and likes to use a different one for each "character" he plays (this is just me poking fun at the fact that the Antivan backstory doesn't have an Antivan accent lol)

In his free time, he likes to cook and paint

Vergil really just wants to have the safety and freedom to be himself even if he doesn't know who that is. He considers himself a people person but mostly enjoys picking apart their mannerisms and motivations in hopes that by understanding other people, he'll better understand himself. When you peel away the Crow, what's left? He doesn't know, and it scares him to think about it as much as he yearns to have that understanding.

Despite his loyalty to the Crows, I love the event that happens in the Crow backstory for Rook. The Antaam's occupation would be something he'd struggle with. Those who live under the Qun have a similar certainty of their role in the world as he does with the Crows, at similar expense of their personal freedoms. He wouldn't like looking in the mirror like that.

But aaa I'm so excited to see how Veilguard impacts his character

Ellis, de 27 años de edad, está listo para los mejores que la división welter puede ofrecer. El nativo de Lynn, Massachusetts jamás ha probado el sabor de la derrota desde que debutó como profesional en el 2018, y también ha tenido el privilegio de pelear en México, Puerto Rico, La República Dominica y en varias ciudades en Estados Unidos. 

Ellis anteriormente fue campeón welter Norte América de la FIB, y actualmente posee el fajín welter Continental de las Américas de la AMB que capturó cuando derrotó en la revancha a Eddie “E-Boy” Gómez esta vez por decisión unánime. Ellis encarará uno de los retos más grandes de su carrera en el nombre de Solomon, y el resultado indicará a todos donde se encuentra en la división de las 147 libras.              

“Finalmente regresaré al cuadrilátero este 28 de agosto en DAZN”, afirmó Rashidi Ellis. “Y estoy contento porque será en mi lugar favorito que es el Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. Solomon es un contendiente de 36 años de edad quien fue un destacado amateur antes de debutar en el boxeo de paga en el 2008. El nativo de Lafayette, Luisiana, además de ganar varios torneos Golden Gloves, también posee una victoria amateur ante Javier Molina. Solomon, como profesional, también ha derrotado a fuertes peleadores como Freddy “El Riel” Hernández y Adrián “El Tigre” Granados. 

Solomon retornará tras dos derrotas en fila ante Vergil Ortiz Jr. y Alexis Rocha, pero promete que este combate volverá a ponerlo en los niveles más altos de las clasificaciones de peso welter”.             

“Mis respetos a Golden Boy por traerme de nuevo en uno de sus eventos”, aseveró Brad Solomon. “Combatiré contra un buen prospecto, alguien que está en ascenso. Rocha (16-0, 10 nocáuts) de Santa Ana, California defenderá su cinto Continental de las Américas del CMB en una batalla a 10 episodios contra Jameson Bacon (23-4, 15 nocáuts) de Cebú, Filipinas.              El ex retador al título mundial Lamont Roach Jr. (19-1-1, 7 nocáuts) de Washington, D.C., se enfrentará a Neil Tabanao (17-7, 11 nocáuts) de Cebú, Filipinas en un combate a 10 giros en las 130 libras.

Hi again! Hope you don't mind more Vergil questions! How would Vergil feel about someone he likes flirting with him? And how would he handle someone he doesn't like flirting with him?

This was interesting to think about! Honestly, I think he'd react similarly between the two. Being a Crow, he isn't unaccustomed to using seduction to get closer to targets so if they're flirting back, it means he's doing a good job! He has difficulty turning it off though, so it makes it harder to tell whether or not he genuinely likes someone since he's 'just like that with everyone'.

But I think if he really likes someone, he's more likely to drop the flirting altogether which sends a different sort of mixed signals lol

I'm back again! You said Vergil likes to paint. What does he like to paint? And what does he not like to paint? Bonus, if you feel like answering: Does Vergil like animals and what kind of mount would he like?

Aaaaaaa I'm so sorry for answering this so late, I got busy with class stuff T_T thank you so much for asking though!!

Vergil loves to paint landscapes the most! Any and all, though he has more experience with city landscapes. He finds it really calming to climb up buildings/trees/towers and just lose himself in painting for hours

He's not as big of a fan of portraits, though the eternal artist curse is being asked: What are you drawing? Can you draw me?

And aaa Vergil does love animals quite a bit. He's not had the joy of meeting many wild ones other than stray dogs and cats, but he would LOVE drakolisks and nuggalopes the most. He'd find drakolisks cool in general, but he'd really like how creepy the nuggalopes are - and their weird hand-feet.

I love how there's common themes between some of my OCs and their LIs though, with games 1 and 3 being about people from opposite yet similar backgrounds and games 2 and 4 being people from extremely similar ideologies and also one of them is possessed lol (so are they throuples?)

DAO: Disgraced dwarven royalty meets human royal bastard

DA2: Apostates trying to make the world a better place for mages (also Justice is there)

DAI: Tevinter and Dalish mages dealing with the heavy expectations their people and families in particular place on their shoulders

DAV: Crows with complicated feelings about their upbringings yet ultimately feeling very strongly about family (also Pride (maybe?) is there)

For real though,

Alistair and Risa are the same age Anders is (in my hc since we don't have a set age for him) only 4 years older than Cat Revas is 2 years older than Dorian

But since all three of my protags are in the early to mid 40s range by the time of Veilguard, I decided Vergil will be 27 to make him feel like he comes from a different generation so that'll be nearly a decade gap between him and Lucanis
