Having finished S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call Of Pripyat nearly a week ago and with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chernobyl coming out in two months I decided to recreate the "Shell" artifact from the former in Blender. This was the end result after a render in cycles.

Stats:

-7,204 Verts

-15,872 Edges

-8,672 Faces

-14,000 Triangles

The textures including the diffuse, normal, and emission maps were created from scratch inside of Adobe Photoshop, no AI was used for their creation.

Have you ever used or considered using Source Filmmaker?

yes but i have zero experience with it and didnt have access to a computer that could handle it until a year ago, almost everything i need to do to run my gif blogs can be done in game or specialized third person programs, it’d be fun to use for better rendered scenes and camera control but i havent gotten around to familiarizing myself with it yet.

Has Aperture Science looked into the field of Human Augmentation? I mean seriously, who wouldn't ask for that?

Indeed. Who wouldn't?

And then we'd have test subjects putting holes in chamber walls with guns for arms. Or doing something ridiculous like breakdancing backwards through test chambers. Dancing wasn't for science, last I checked.

However, some testing certainly would require Human Augmentation, as you would call it. You have noticed the Long Fall Heelsprings on some of our test subjects, have you not? Then there's the zoom vision optical implants - unfortunately only triggered in times of great duress. 

Perhaps that's just as well. I don't want to think about how much testing data malfunctioning augmentations would've ruined....
