Day²² - Camp

She set up camp as the sun set outside Mondstadt. With their bellies full, Paimon snored in her own little tent across the dying fire. An additional precaution after one fateful night of nearly being rolled over by the small yet larger traveler having a nightmare.

Lumine smiled fondly at her tiny companion, "Good night, Paimon." She folded her arm as she settled to her straw mats beneath her own green tent, sighing in content as the soft breeze brushed ever so softly across her arms. Mondstadt was so peaceful at night.

However, that peace didnt last all too long.

He stumbled, twirling and catching himself, trying to make it to the large tree. Well, until the tent caught his attention. He smiled brightly, finding himself at the edge of the small camp. It was her.

A soft giggle fell from his lips as his drunken stupor had him softly hum. He sloppily pulled the bow to his coat, dropping it in a heap. "Oh dear," he exclaimed quietly, dropping down himself to pick it up beside her. He found that the wine had his mind pause in thoughts as he stared over her shoulder at her sleeping face. He giggled again, hushing himself in his drunken stupor. He leaned over her shoulder, smiling at her soft sleeping face. Softly, he pushed her hair behind her ear, humming to himself, but softly picking up to sing quietly into the night.

Lumine blinked sleepily, hearing the bard. The soft song now a quiet ballad, only for her this night, "Venti?"

He turned, his eyes meeting hers as his song stopped a moment. He smiled a silly flirty smile that he often wore when intoxicated, "Lumine."

In a smooth decent, he wrapped his arms around her, resuming his soft melody. He nuzzled against her, his lips finding her ear, "Venti-"

A soft giggle escaped him yet again, "Shhh." His softly nipped her ear, "You'll wake eh- merrgency snackssss."

Her face flooded as blood rushed to her cheeks as he continued his soft serenade against her skin. 'Drunken flirt,' she thought to herself, huffing.

But after some time, her eyes became heavy with his soft, lullaby, and warm embrace. His words becoming softer and further apart. His arms warm and heavy around her. Their soft breathing carried on the quiet breeze.

Hmm, maybe this wasn't so bad after all?
