Suffering of my family ... please give us your attention

All my family members are currently in Gaza: my brothers Ahmed, Osama, Moatasim, and Mohammed, along with their families, and my elderly parents. Ahmed's family includes three children: Qusay, Lyan, and Ayda. Osama's family also has three children: Yahya, Sewar, and Yamen. Moatasim’s family consists of two children: Maria and Aysha. Mohammed is 22 years old.

They once lived in safety and peace, each having their own home which provided them with happiness, warmth, and love. Ahmed and Osama worked as dental technicians, Moatasim was a delivery driver, and Mohammed was training to become a dental technician with the dream of opening his own practice.

Before the war, they led normal lives—visiting one another, going on trips, and sharing laughs and smiles. But everything changed on October 7, 2023, when war broke out in Gaza. This horrific conflict destroyed their lives, taking away their homes, jobs, safety, and dreams, and tragically claiming many of our relatives.

Two weeks into the war, my family was forced to flee their home in Tel Alhawa, escaping south to the Deir Albalah area to save their lives. Now, they live in tents with no access to water, electricity, sanitation, or food. These dire conditions have led to numerous health issues, especially for the children, including skin diseases and Hepatitis B infections.

Every day, my family struggles to survive in these appalling conditions. This has become a nightmarish reality. The funds raised by this campaign will be used to:

Provide Medical Care and Treatment: My parents urgently need medical support. My father has undergone heart catheterization due to blocked arteries, while my mother suffers from high blood pressure and heart problems. They require both medical attention and nutritious food.

Offer Health Treatment for Qusay, four-year child, who recently had a difficult throat operation, needs ongoing healthcare and speech therapy. His condition has left him struggling with speech difficulties, and he requires urgent speech therapy, healthy nutrition and Phycological treatment.

Supply Essential Living Needs: My family is without any means of income and is unable to afford basic necessities such as food, water, childhood needs, medicine, and cleaning products.

Rent a House Before Winter: Currently living in tents, my family faces the prospect of enduring harsh winter conditions without proper shelter. Renting a house before winter sets in is crucial to their survival and well-being.

I genuinely don't understand how people can be exhausted from seeing so many fundraisers on the timeline. Sure, you can take a break, but that doesn't mean you can dismiss the entire movement and ignore the pain and suffering Palestinians are going through over the past year. It is insulting. They have every right to be drained with little to no energy. Palestinians have every right to express anger, bitterness, frustration, and all of the negative emotions because the West has turned their backs against them.

So you need support the Palestinians as much as you can. It is winter right now. Heavy rainfall and the rising sea levels have flooded tents. They have been destroyed. Many families are left on the streets and they are freezing. A blockade has been imposed. Aid is extremely limited, and when it does enter the region, it is exorbitant to the point many cannot afford it. They are starving. A famine is taking place!

Despite all of the pain and suffering, we have seen Palestinians rise up and mobilize. They establish kitchens grassroots organizations, such as The Sameer Project and HEAL Palestine, and they are spreading across to ensure Gazans are clothed, fed, and sheltered.

Shahed Abumousa, @shahdhatem, is a person who has dedicated herself to helping her fellow Palestinians. She, along with her father, constructed an emergency room where they look after the injured and wounded. Since she is a dentist student, she has applied her skills and knowledge to perform emergency services. She also distribute food and teach the Qu'ran to children!

So please donate and share! Shahed has been fundraising since March, but donations has been slow! It has taken her a long time to reach the 29K mark! So how about we pick up the pace and help her reach the 30.5K? $29,560 USD has been raised. There is $950 left to go! You can match me! A Mother's Struggle for Survival 🇵🇸

Dear friends,

My name is Nasreen, a 37-year-old mother of four: Leila (13), Amal (8), Mohamed (4), and baby Samaa (1). We are a family of seven, living in Gaza with my ailing mother and my brother Islam. After losing my children's father, I became their sole provider, striving to offer them safety and a decent life amidst the devastation.

We lost our home, and our current shelter offers no protection from the cold. My children, who used to laugh and play, now suffer from fear and hunger. We lack food, milk for baby Samaa, diapers, warm clothing, and medication for my mother. My brother does his best to support us, but job opportunities are almost nonexistent, and we survive on scarce aid that barely meets our basic needs.

I now turn to you in a moment of desperation, asking for your help. Your support can provide my family with warmth, food, and hope. If you cannot donate, please share our story so it may reach those who can help us.
