Just as the familiar went to return the call, Devlin shouted for him and a brief moment of chaos ensued that turned out to be rather lucky. Devlin had asked for permission to sleep over at his best friend's house to work on a project and since said best friend happened to be Saifah's son and Saifah's house had been warded, Abel and Xavier wouldn't have to worry about leaving their baby unprotected while they were away.

And, in another stroke of luck, Vincent actually called back.

"Glad you remembered in time, I was just about to call you again. Go ahead and go to New York, we can meet you there. No sense in you coming all the way to Bangkok. Do you know where the Metropolitan Museum of Art is?"

Vincent stared off into space, trying to recall this museum. It sounded like a place Xavier would drag him. Willingly dragged, but dragged just the same.

"If Xavier took me there," he confessed. He closed his eyes, but the only place he could think of was a pizza parlor several blocks from the Museum of Art - and that's where he ended up.

The phone company could have a field day trying to understand the pinging from wildly different towers, Vincent didn't know nor did he care.
