Decided to make a labled Cybertronian as an easy reference lol. based on "The Vitruvian Man" illustraton by Da Vinci.
Bullet point list of various body parts / references from an older post + what I've picked up from reading fic under the cut, which is archived here.
Spark Chamber - inside of chest, houses the Spark - the Heart/Soul of a Cybertronian
Sparkling - a newly formed or newly born / young Cybertronian, usually used for infants or unborn sparklings, which are "sparked off" usually two Cybertronians merging their Sparks during interface.
New Sparklings can be carried around inside the Spark Chamber until more developed, built a body, OR are carried in a more biological "gestation chamber" where they are born in a more biological way, either live birth or in mechanical eggs.
Cold Construction - Frame is pre-built and then charged with a Spark to create new life. Used to build "disposables" and low-caste members for the workforce.
Forged - A Spark is harvested from the Allspark (?) on Cybertron and placed in Sentio Metallico / a protoform, where it then shapes its own form and grows from there. Usually high-caste, and look down on ColdCons :/
Protoform - baby sparklings, OR base form of a Cybertronian, underneath all the armour and transformations
Mesh - base form of a Cybertronian, underneath all the armour and transformations; skin.
Root Mode - default mode; protoform.
Sentio Metallico - living metal. Cybertronian base composition
Alt Mode - vehicular/disguise mode.
Robot Mode - non-vehicular mode
Sparkmate - soulmate (after sparkbonding during interface, which is either casual and par for the course, or a much more intimate choice made rarely) or, generally, a spouse.
Conjunx - Spouse or partner
Amica - Best friend or platonic partner
Tailpipe / Bumper / Aft - butt
Piston / Spike - Penis
Valve - Vagina
(^ usually both at the same time)
Plating - outer armor, skin.
Chassis / Chest Plate - chest
Vents - Lungs, and where expelled air exits from. Can be very loud like a stressed computer under duress or excitement.
Fuel Pump - stomach, usually used for emotional expressions
Energon Converter (outdated) - Heart
Manifold (outdated?) - guts, viscera, what holds them
T-Cog - transformation cog, effects balance and posture
Pedes - feet
Servos - hands
digits - fingers
Finials / Audials - Pointy head ornamentation, also doubling as ears some times
Chevron - V-shaped head ornamentations, "crowns"
Helm / Cranial Unit - head
Faceplate - face
Optics/ Opticals / Optical Units - eyes
Mouthplate - mouth or shield in front of it
Dente - teeth
Glossa - tongue
Vocal Processor - voice box
Lubricant - various bodily fluids: from keeping joints oiled, to saliva, to tears, to internal blood, to reproductive fluids
Energon - same as above, while also being food/drink, fuel for weapons, etc.
Low/High Grade- Energon which is consumed as alcohol. Can also simply be drinking more Energon than is required for a full tank called "overfueling"
Stasis - Long Term Sleep for storage or transport; medically induced coma.
Recharge - Sleep.
Defrag / Defrag cycle - Pre-sleep routine, usually requires reliving the events of the day to process them for memory storage; dreaming, nightmares.
Offline - unconscious; dead
Energy Signature - A lifesign unique to each Cybertronian, used to monitor health; if it vanishes from sensors, they are dead, or in a different dimension (rare lol)
Mech - general term for a singular or group of Cybertronians
"x looked at the other mech"
"the stadium was full of mechs"
etc
Femme - feminine; either an indicator of gender or physical expression.
Seekers - flying types, usually Decepticon.
Elite Trine / Trine - Seekers born, mated, or platonically bonded in groups of three
Aura / EM Field - a metaphysical field around living beings that Cybertronians can sense or train themselves to see, which emotions can be felt through like an empathic field.
Frame - Body in general, or specific body types.
Brain Module / Core Processor / CPU - the brain
Circuits/Lines - nerves, veins, etc. Catchall.
Biolights - bioluminescence, can be used to convey emotion
Kibble - decoration that is there just for aesthetic value; the equivalent of jewelry or piercings probably.
Functionism - Eugenics, Racism, and Ableism all wrapped up in one big ball of Autobot Supremacy

tfa sentinel
tws/content- public (closet), object insertion, finger biting, masochism (?), masturbation, choking, self degradation (?)
a/n- slut (affectionate)
If Sentinel doesn’t get something inside of him, he thinks he’ll explode. He’s way too warm, he’s shaking, his array is throbbing underneath his panels. Sentinel ducks into a storage closet from the hallway he was walking in.
His interface panels pop open without a needed command, he slides down from the wall onto the floor. Completely ignoring his spike, he pushes shaking digits into his valve, sliding in and out with a scissor motion.
Sentinel bites his derma to prevent a wanton moan, looking beside him for something safe he could stretch himself with. The cans and energon bottles were too flat on the top, the spray bottles were too oddly shaped. The mop was too thin and too long and he’s growing increasingly impatient.
His lubricant leaks onto the cold floor, smearing on his aft as he reaches for a replacement handle for a broom. It almost looks like a faux spike in the dark, hopefully feels like one too. It’s flared a bit at the base and has a blunt circular tip. He runs the object across his glossa before sliding it into him.
His optics widen as he gasps, he didn’t expect for it to reach his ceiling node. He gives a long, loud whimper, silently hoping that no one was in the hallway.
How disgusted would the bot be if they saw Sentinel like this, using a replacement handle to self service? He rocks his hips side to side, massaging the node placed deep in him, scrunching his faceplates in pleasure and choking out his groans.
He grabs hold to the end of the handle, thrusting his hips up to chase that too-much feeling. He shoves digits into his intake, effectively quieting his moans.
Sentinel’s array throbs, an overload building in his circuits makes him grow tight on the handle, biting his digits to silence himself. It makes his servo hurt, but it’s better than being caught like this.
He tilts the handle vertically as much as his anatomy lets him, making the grip texture on it slides against his exterior node, through his folds. The tip rams into the lower part of his ceiling node, he pushes the digits in his intake towards his fuel seal. The almost-touch of his digits in his neck cables forces him to choke, effectively dampening the strong urge to moan until his vocalizer gave out.
The prime bites down again as a wave of white hot sharpness rages to his core. Sentinel overloads with a half silenced and desperate moan, rubbing the handle back and forth pressed against his array to ride the overload out.
He slumps against the back of the small closet, optics closed and limbs now limp. He gives himself a couple kliks to catch his vents before dealing with the mess he’s left, probably everywhere. He pulls the handle out of himself, setting it in front of him.
Messy. Messy fragging mech. He got transfluid all over the stupid fragging door, dammit. He blushes, embarrassed. He pulls a soft cloth from his subspace, cleaning up any transfluid or lubricant that was left on his spike, valve or aft.
Kneeling now, he rummages through a clean up cart, pulling out a handful of disposable towels and wiping away his fluids from the ground first. He sighs cleaning up the door, then wiping his lubricant off the handle.
Sentinel huffs as he sits back down, rubbing the inside of his thighs. They’ll be sore the next solar cycle, but it was definitely worth it.

A Way You Can Store Your Vegetables For Months
Have you ever wondered how our ancestors preserved a whole winter season worth of frost-intolerant produce? Canning is a useful method, though a large harvest can easily turn it into a seemingly impossible task. The solution many generations before us turned to was building a root cellar.
Although many cannot build their own old-world root cellars due to rentals, adequate space, or urban environments; a little common sense and wisdom of temperature and humidity guidelines will allow anybody to whip together an ideal means of prolonging produce-life through the winter.
A conventional root cellar, which essentially is a room buried in a hillside or underground, meets only a handful of criteria.
INSULATION: The earth is a wonderful insulator. A typical old-world root cellar was literally buried on all sides except the entrance, utilizing the natural insulating properties of the soil.
VENTILATION: It is important that your make-shift root cellar can breathe. Warm stale air needs to float out of the top of your chamber as fresh cooler air makes its way through the bottom. This is important to keep humidity levels under control in order to prevent the rot of moisture-sensitive vegetables such as squashes.
DARKNESS: Light accelerates the decomposition of fruits and veggies. An ideal means of storage incorporates complete darkness.
Consider what you may have on hand if you would like to construct a practical yet permanent root cellar: Burying an insulated plastic or metal trash can with a tight lid is a popular option. Others have gone to the trouble of recycling an entire broken refrigerator by submerging it in a hillside. Another option is to frame off a corner of your basement with a window or vent. A more conservative approach is to sink a large cooler into the ground. If one of these avenues are chosen, make sure you are ventilating with a hose or pipe.
A blast valve or similar device may be incorporated to prevent below freezing temperatures from entering your storage compartment.
My personal favorite involves little more than a pile of straw, hay, leaves, or moss and a minimal amount of elbow grease. It is most effective with potatoes (Read on).
As a rule of thumb make sure not to wash any produce prior to storing. This will greatly reduce its ability to keep. Instead provide enough drying time for exterior dirt to dehydrate, then brush off any large clumps.
Apples can be a dangerous food to store with other produce. The idiom one rotten apple spoils the barrel is spot on. As apples age they release ethylene gas which causes other produce to rot too. It’s a wise practice to isolate them in shallow containers with lids. They keep best in 80-90% relative humidity and prefer temperatures of 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit. Check on them often and remove any signs of rot.
Beets prefer the same 32–40-degree temperature range but can withstand a bit more humidity. Outdoor storage is an easy and effective method to practice. Before hard frosts begin simply hoe dirt over the protruding shoulders keeping the foliage exposed. As winter begins, mulch over the rows with up to a foot (more for colder climates, less for warmer) of leaves, straw, or hay.
This method may be applied to carrots, parsnips, turnips, celery, rutabagas, cabbages, leeks, kale, and spinach with some success as well. Regarding flavor, the longer you can keep cold tolerant produce in the ground, the better. Cool fall temperatures sweeten many vegetables such as beets by literally increasing the presence of sugar.
Brussels sprouts are somewhat frost hardy and can be left in the garden until late fall. They may be kept in a root cellar for some time however a lack of moisture will shorten their lifespan. Like beets they prefer a temperature range of 32-40 degrees and high relative humidity of 90-95%.
Cabbage can withstand light frost when it is young and moderately severe frost when mature. Some varieties are briefly tolerant to temperatures as low as 20 degrees. The method of mulching beets above can be employed here. Cabbage prefers cold temperatures of 32 to 40 degrees and high moisture of about 80-95% relative humidity making it a good root cellar candidate. Either cut off the head or pull out the entire plant (roots included). If the roots are left on it may last a bit longer in a cellar, however if the stump is left in the ground a smaller leafy cabbage will emerge the following season.
Carrots can be kept in the garden under mulch just like beets. Remember to cover the shoulders with dirt. They prefer temperatures of 32-40 degrees and relative humidity of 90-95% in a root cellar. If storing in a cellar, harvest before the soil freezes, cut the stems close to the carrot, and store in a bucket of leaves or sawdust with a loose lid.
Cauliflower and Celery prefer cold temperatures of 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit and very moist relative humidity of 90-95%.
Celeriac is one of the best keeping vegetables during the winter months. Trim off the longer roots making sure not to cut too close to the meat. Store it in damp sawdust, sand, or moss at an ideal temperature range of 32-40 degrees and a very moist relative humidity of 90-95%.
Dry Beans can be harvested after pods are nearly dried out while still attached to the vine. Spread the pods on newspaper for a week or two until completely dry. A productive trick to separate the beans from the pods is to fill a bag and beat it with a stick. When a hole is cut in the bottom corner the beans will fall out pod-free. Dry beans store well in temperatures between 32-50 degrees though they can withstand freezing temperatures. They are less moisture tolerant at an ideal range of 60-70% relative humidity. Store in dry containers with tight lids.
Garlic needs to be air dried in a warm arid area for 2-3 weeks. Remove the roots and store at an ideal 32-50 degrees with 60-70% relative humidity and good airflow.
Leeks come in frost hardy varieties which should be utilized if growing for storage. They can withstand a bit of snow and the mulching process may be used up until the ground freezes. Harvest with some roots still attached and stored at an ideal 32-40 degrees upright, preferably in wet sand. Though leeks prefer a high relative humidity of 90-95% take care not to wet the leaves during storage.
Onions require curing until the necks are quite tight before storing. To cure, spread them in a dry area with sufficient airflow or hang them upside down. Ideal storage temperatures range from 32-50 degrees with a relative humidity of 60-70%. Make sure they are stored in an breathable container such as crates or mesh bags.
Parsnips store well in uncovered ground until a solid freeze at which point they should be mulched. The frost improves their flavor for a succulent spring harvest. Store harvested parsnips in damp sawdust at an ideal 32-40 degrees and a high relative humidity of 90-95%.
Potatoes should be cured in a dark place for 1-2 weeks at 45-60 degrees. After this they prefer cold temperatures of 32-40 degrees and moist relative humidity of 80-90%. A great means of outdoor storage is piling an insulating material such as straw or hay on top of unused winter garden space with a few inches of dirt on top. Make sure to keep a ventilation hole, clear of dirt, on one side of the pile and a drainage ditch around the perimeter equipped with a small runoff canal.
Throughout the winter hungry gardeners can reach through the ventilation hole and fish out the produce. If you have a tarp on hand covering the top of the pile, but not the ventilation hole, will prevent your storage mound from eroding away. If many potatoes need storing and more than one pile is not an option layer the pile with 4-6 inches of insulating medium, followed by a single layer of potatoes, followed by 4 inches of soil. Repeat the layering process.
Pumpkins should be cured like squash (see below) with the stem left attached and stored around 50-55 degrees. Relative humidity should fall between 60-75%.
Sweet Potatoes can be preserved all the way until spring if properly cured and stored. To cure, let air-dry in a warm humid environment of 80-85 degrees and 90% relative humidity for 10-14 days. This will toughen the skin and improve the flavor. Sweet Potatoes store best in an unheated room of about 50-60 degrees with a moderate relative humidity of 60-70% taking great care not to let them drop below 50 degrees.
Turnips should be harvested before heavy frosts, tops removed, and stored as you would carrots in a moist insulator such as sawdust, moss, or sand.
Winter Squash should be harvested before a hard frost when the skin is tough enough to prevent penetration from a moderately pressed thumb nail. Flavor is best when the seeds are given a chance to fully develop. Make sure to leave the stem on the fruit and cure for about 10 days at 75-85 degrees, ideally. Store them in a moderately dry and warm spot where the temperature doesn’t drop below 50 and preferably stays below 60 degrees. The best relative humidity for storage falls between 60-70%. Great information by Farmacy.

Poedit Cut/Unused Content: Slaughterers_Apprentice
002 WellM Edmund's a good lad. But he's always been a bit … limited. And my work has become so challenging of late.
003 WellM I've had to go to … "extraordinary measures" … to keep this town fed. But we are in an extraordinary situation, aren't we? You were so helpful bringing that package. Now we need to process it.
004 WellM I'm not proposing to hurt anyone, you understand. Just … ignore a silly old taboo.
005 PC_Art You want me to help … process … that package.
006 WellM Just go on through that door, if you're willing to help.
007 PC_Art I can't believe I'm even considering this. Maybe I should just walk out and report him to the police.
008 PC_Art People do have to eat, though.
009 PC_Art It won't be an easy choice to … unchoose.
011 PC_Art It's a very kind offer. I just have so much on my plate… these days. I think I'll just … go.
012 WellM Well, if you ever need V-meat, you can count on me!
013 PC_Art I wonder what I missed. I wonder if I'll ever know. Damn it, now I'm curious.
014 WellM And people say you can't get good help these days.
015 PC_Art Ow.
016 PC_Art Where's my things?
017 PC_Art No windows? That's not ominous at all.
018 PC_Art That looks like a terribly effective cleaver suitable for your more unruly animals.
019 WellM Welcome to Cutty's Mechanical Kitchen! Featuring the very latest in meat packing technology! It used to take days to dismantle a carcass. With my new inventions, one apprentice can reduce a carcass to its edible parts in no time at all.
020 WellM I hope you're as excited as I am. This is the very first time we're running our machines on the real … material.
021 PC_Art What have I got myself into?
022 WellM Now the first thing I need you to do is obtain the package from the upstairs cold storage room. Don't worry, at no point will you have to unwrap the package; the magic all happens through the provided access valve!
022a WellM First, we must exsanguinate the package! Bring it downstairs to the Exsanguinator.
022b WellM Before you mount the package, you'll need to operate each machine once; just to clear out any residue and check its operational soundness. Don't want to contaminate the product, do we?
023 WellM I must ask you to follow the instructions precisely and promptly. I have customers who are waiting for their meat!
024 WellM Don't let me down, lad. I have a very tight schedule and many hungry, hungry mouths to feed.
025 WellM I have so much faith in you! I know you're capable of more.
026 WellM I want you to take this seriously, Arthur.
027 WellM I don't know what your previous jobs were like, but there's no shirking in my kitchen!
028 WellM I can't afford to replace you, my lad. We'll make a good worker of you if it kills both of us.
029 PC_Art I don't recall signing on to be a prisoner!
030 WellM It's just for a little while, Arthur, while you get up to speed. The job we do is so very important to Wellington Wells. The fact is, we've run out of rats and ravens.
031 PC_Art Why don't you tell the Executive Committee? I'm sure they'd give you a medal.
032 WellM That's just it! I don't think they would. People love to think about cows eating grass happy in the fields. And they like to get a steak wrapped up in brown paper.
033 PC_Art So he loves to hear himself talk. Good. Maybe while he's talking I can find something here I can use.
034 WellM But they don't like to think about how the cow gets into the brown paper. How the meat was connected to the bones. They want everything neatly wrapped up in wax paper, so they can keep it out of their minds.
035 WellM We are here to let people deny uncomfortable things. So they can get on with their lives.
036 WellM Once you understand the value of our work, you won't even want to leave.
037 WellM Now: join the package to the Exsanguinator via the provided access valve.
038 WellM All right. The green light indicates that the Exsanguinator is ready for exsanguination.
039 WellM Now, turn the crank until the Exsanguinator determines that the package no longer contains free liquids. We don't want anything to go to waste, do we?
040 PC_Art This is rather more disgusting than I expected.
040a WellM Ah, good! As you can see, each machine will release the package once it has accomplished its purpose. Efficiency is our watchword!
041 WellM The amber light indicates that the exsanguinator has completed its function.
041a WellM Next up, evisceration!
041b PC_Art That would be… the eviscerator?
041c WellM You learn quickly! As before, engage the mechanism briefly to verify mechanical integrity.
042 WellM Please detach the package from the Exsanguinator and attach it to the second machine, which I call the Eviscerator.
043 PC_Art I need to get him talking again. What about?
044 PC_Art You're very good at justifying yourself. I suppose you learned that during the War?
045 WellM What are you talking about?
046 PC_Art I found your letter.
047 WellM You were a child then. You wouldn't understand
048 PC_Art Oh, yes, it was a happy, carefree time for us kids.
049 WellM I loved her. We were just two young people caught up in something bigger than ourselves.
050 PC_Art That doesn't sound like what the Home Army's onto you about.
051 WellM You don't understand. I thought they would stay forever. I had to sell meat. We had to get on.
052 PC_Art I suppose we all made our sacrifices.
053 WellM Have you done nothing you regret? Or is it just that you have all your regrets neatly wrapped up in brown paper, so you can pretend you don't know how they got there? At least I look at the blood, and the flesh, and the bone. At least I remember.
053a PC_Art Was it supposed to do that?
053b WellM Did you not see the blades come out?
053c PC_Art No, just sparks. Also, a metal thing just fell out of the main bit.
054 WellM Dismount the package from the Exsanguinator and attach it to the Eviscerator.
055 WellM The green light indicates that the Eviscerator is ready for evisceration.
056 WellM Pressing the button on the side of the Eviscerator will extend the blades from the nozzle. Try it now.
057 WellM Now press the button again to retract the bladeshaft. You will need to retract the bladeshaft in order to mount the package.
058 PC_Art Um … The, ah, bladeshaft won't retract.
059 WellM Hmmmm. Please open the side panel.
060 PC_Art I can see a lot of wires and gears and … smoke … and sparks.
061 WellM Oh, dear. The commutator has overloaded again. I thought I'd fixed that.
062 PC_Art Maybe you'd better come down here and fix it again.
063 WellM Hah! I'm quite sure you can manage on your own. There's a spare one in the store cupboard downstairs. There's only one way to insert it.
064 PC_Art Damn it, I've got to lure him down here. Maybe figure out how to break one of these machines.
065 WellM Come on, no time to waste. We're behind schedule already.
066 PC_Art It's in.
066a WellM There we go! Try the button again.
066b WellM Good as new! Well, it is actually quite new, so… y'know. Anyway, we're back in action! You can attach the package now.
066c WellM Well mounted, lad. Well mounted!
067 WellM Right! Now retract the bladeshaft and mount the package.
067a WellM Excellent! When the eviscerator is done, the package will be dismounted, ready for another package!
068 WellM Excellent! While the Eviscerator is processing, the green light will stay red. When the light reverts to green, the package is ready to be dismounted and replaced with another package.
069 PC_Art Another package?
070 WellM Once I achieve a steadier stream of raw material, I would hope we can keep these machines running all day. Or at least long enough to take advantage of any surplus … protein that can be obtained in Wellington Wells.
071 PC_Art Yes, I see you've got some very enthusiastic suppliers.
072 WellM You mean Mrs. Crannock.
073 PC_Art What does she mean by "new sources"?
074 WellM My God, man, who do you think I am?
075 PC_Art She thinks you have an ambition to be the "purveyor of the finest, freshest meats."
076 WellM I'll have you know I turned her down! There's such a thing as "too fresh."
077 PC_Art Imagine my relief.
078 WellM Aren't you a chatty Cathy? You must have been such fun around the office Joy dispenser. Well, back to work.
079 WellM Now for the final process. Bring the package to the Exfoliator on the next floor.
080 PC_Art Exfoliator?
081 WellM Yes, it exposes the skin to steam, separating it from the muscle, and then removes the skin, making it available for tanning or other purposes.
082 PC_Art I don't mean to be impertinent but … shouldn't you do that first?
083 WellM Oh, no no. There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers! But that would result in the leakage of liquid. And you wouldn't want to put it second, either, because the package is much easier to manipulate with its skin on.
084 PC_Art I'm so glad I asked.
084a WellM On with the exfoliating. Press the button, check the functional integrity, und so weiter. I mean, and so forth.
085 WellM Now, mount the package on the Exfoliator!
086 WellM Fantastic. Now, assuming the light is green, press the green button.
087 PC_Art The, uh, light is out.
088 WellM Would you check that it's properly powered? There's a good lad.
089 PC_Art The power cells are depleted.
090 WellM Don't tell me I left it running all night again. Well, there's nothing to do but replace the power cells.
091 PC_Art Can you bring me down some?
092 WellM Ho ho ho. No need! You can refill them at the Motilene dispenser I have thoughtfully provided. Come on, hup to!
093 WellM Superb. The package will be released once it's fully exfoliated. Do you think Exfoliator is the right word? I thought about "decorticator," but Exsanguinate, Eviscerate, Exfoliate, has a nice ring to it, doesn't it.
094 PC_Art Definitely Exfoliate.
095 WellM I'm so glad to hear that. I mean, it's a "Scalder/Skinner," but that doesn't sound very official, does it? And the last machine is the Extruder.
096 WellM Once the light turns green, please dismount the package from the Exfoliator and remount it on the Extruder.
096a WellM Oh, that's it! The package is now fully prepared! We're ready for the extruder! Mount the package and let's get cracking! Oh I can barely contain myself!
097 WellM This is really the machine I'm proudest of.
098 WellM It's a combination meat grinder, pulper, and injection mold meat former. You wouldn't believe what I had to go through to get the pieces.
099 PC_Art That's it! If I can break his step-down converter, he'll have to come down here!
100 PC_Art You're a poor man's Dr. Faraday, aren't you?
101 WellM You're flattering me, boy, and I appreciate it.
102 WellM I met him once, you know? Brilliant man. Brilliant man.
103 (PC_Art LINE MISSING)
104 WellM That's an interesting thought, but I think you have it exactly backwards. What we do is a sacred service.
105 WellM Butchers used to be priests, did you know that? We were the ones who sacrificed the bull to the goddess Athena, and offer Her the bones and the fat. And then they got the meat to the people.
106 WellM And among the Hebrews, the butcher is still a holy man. He has to know the Talmudic laws.
107 WellM We're Hierophants. Priests. We deal with the freshly dead, and we expiate the sin of spilling their blood. We are the guardians of the watchtowers between the living and the dead.
108 PC_Art No time to read this now.
109 WellM Are you even listening to me?
110 WellM You know what, just remount the package on the Extruder and stop trying to distract me.
111 WellM Excellent! Now we can fill our orders! You're doing a lovely job, by the way.
112 WellM One nice thing about working for a butcher is, you never starve! You can have as much meat as you like! See? I told you you'd be well compensated.
113 WellM Now, up on my board you'll see a list of orders. I've already filled in the addresses. All you have to do is press the right button. For example, if the order calls for one meat loaf, and one meat bundt cake, then you press the appropriate buttons, and then put the order in the pneumatic tube.
114 WellM All right? I've put the first order up on the board. Make me proud!
115 WellM Good work! Now put the order in the hopper.
116 WellM Off it goes!
117 WellM That's terrific. I have a feeling this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
118 WellM You're doing well. And doing good, too!
119 WellM I'm very impressed.
120 WellM Isn't it an amazing system? I'm quite proud of all the automation.
121 WellM I wish we had more butchers! I could start franchising!
122 WellM No, no, no. That's not what it says on the board! Do it again.
123 WellM That's not what the order is! Try again!
124 WellM All I'm asking is for you to push the buttons that match the order. How hard can that be?
125 WellM Are you messing this up on purpose? Do it again!
126 WellM I need you to do the same order as before, but this time, get it right! Is that too much to ask?
127 WellM Don't you think we have a responsibility to the former owner of the carcass? To not waste the food?
128 WellM Come on, don't dawdle!
129 WellM You're a smart lad, speed it up!
130 WellM I want you focusing on the job. This is no time to daydream!
131 PC_Art Uh -- there's smoke coming out of the extruder!
132 WellM Well fix it! Use a repair kit, or bang on it. Just get it done! I can't figure everything out for you.
133 WellM Come on! Get cracking! You're making us late!
134 PC_Art The extruder's stopped working. All the lights are off.
135 WellM Well put in some new power cells! We can't break the First Law of Thermodynamics, can we?
136 WellM You're doing a lovely job. Why don't you take a short break and get something to eat.
137 WellM And… look at that! I'm all out of orders! I think this new system is working brilliantly.
138 WellM Why don't you get some rest. I bet we'll fill twice as many orders tomorrow!
139 PC_Art I've got to find some way out of here.
140 PC_Art What's behind this parcel?
140a WellM Back to work, nosy parker.
140b PC_Art He clearly wants me to stay away from the cellar. Is that the way out, I wonder?
140c PC_Art Ow. Those bloody spankers. I've got to distract him with something if I'm going to get into the cellar.
141 PC_Art … A door! Thank God!
142 PC_Art It's got a keycard lock. And I suppose Mr. Wizard has the keycard.
143 WellM What do you think you're doing? You can't leave! Where's your dedication? Where's your devotion to our sacred craft?
144 PC_Art I need to read that journal I found.
145 PC_Art "August 30. Have to be more careful. I accidentally put my hat next to the suction coupling, and it went right into the intake canister. Spent an hour pulling felt off the blades in the cyclone mincer. Imagine if that had been a bottle? Or worse, a wrench?"
146 PC_Art "September 9. Problem solved. Added a power cutoff to the suction coupling. Now it won't even start up unless a package is mounted onto it. I'm going to add the same cutoff to all the machines, to minimize accidents. Don't want Edmund's hand ending up in the V-meat!"
146a PC_Art Aha! If I stuff that broken bit of the eviscerator into the package, it ought to clog up the works nicely, shouldn't it!
146b PC_Art Ha. Let's see you extrude that.
147 PC_Art That's it. I can load up yesterday's package with all sorts of junk, and sabotage the Extruder.
148 WellM All right! Are you ready for another day of serving people? I mean, serving the people, of course. Hah hah, my little joke. Never mind.
149 WellM I'm just going to start up the board now.
150 PC_Art That doesn't sound quite right?
151 PC_Art Do you want to come down and see what's going on?
152 WellM No, no, I'm sure it will sort itself.
153 PC_Art Something's gone terribly wrong! There's smoke coming out!
153a PC_Art Oh, it's, er, it's doing that… smoky grindy thing again.
154 WellM That doesn't sound good. I better come down.
155 WellM Don't try anything clever. We have a lot to do today, and it takes so long to recover from the Spanker.
156 PC_Art Maybe if I hide I can catch him off guard.
157 WellM You maniac! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you to hell!
158 WellM People are starving! Don't you understand? We are witnessing the end!
159 WellM You'll pay for this! I'll never let you out now!
160 WellM I'm almost tempted to turn you into a package. Almost.
161 PC_Art I think I'll just get my things and go.
161a WellM Did I pass out? My neck hurts something terrible! Bloody hell! He choked me unconscious!
161b WellM Where are you, ye little twerp!
161c WellM You insubordinate bastard! You get back to your post!
161d WellM We'll have none of this Bolshevik shirking!
161e WellM Heavens, this is clogged up something proper!
161f WellM Are you skulking about somewhere?
161g WellM Don't wander off, I'll need you here as soon as I have this up and running again!
161h WellM Apprentice to the extruder room please, apprentice to the extruder room!
161i WellM Nnnng… damn thing…
162 PC_Art I don't see anyone else's things here. That's a good sign.
162a WellM You're not in the cellar are you?!
162b WellM You little fucker, you're in the cellar, aren't you?
162c WellM Come now, this is no way for an apprentice to behave!
162d WellM Come now around when there are mouths to feed, there's a good chap.
162e WellM Come now most unbecoming behaviour!
162f WellM Come now your sense of duty?
162g WellM Ah there you are; back to work with you.
163 PC_Art You know, Mr. Cutty? I think the police will not share your enthusiasm for your new product line.
164 Bobby What's going on up there? I heard shouting. Where's Reg?
165 PC_Art Mr. Cutty's turning cadavers into V-meat. I barely escaped becoming V-meat myself! He's got these horrible machines in there that turn people into… meat bundt cake!
166 Bobby Human bundt cake! That's monstrous!
167 Bobby Is he armed?
168 PC_Art He has a rather nasty Spanker, but I think he's a bit trapped in his cellar at the moment.
169 Bobby Right! We'll knock out the power, and go spank him ourselves!
170 Bobby Thank you, citizen! We'll take it from here.
171 WellM You can't do this to me! I'm pillar of the community!
172 WellM It's all lies! I never! Those are perfectly legitimate machines!
173 WellM I'm only trying to feed people! We're letting perfectly good meat go rotten! That's insane!
174 WellM I'll give you free sausages for the rest of your life!
175 PC_Art Perhaps I should give a thought to becoming vegetarian
176 WellM Come on, back to work?
177 WellM Where have you wandered off to? No shirking!
178 WellM The Devil makes plans for idle hands!
There were more points of failure on the machines, including having to charge and replace power cells, and you would have had to sneak up on Reg and choke him out to get into the basement.
Reg had a whole monologue about the place of butchers in historical society. I do really wish Line 103 wasn't missing 'cause it sounds a little more detailed than a lead into that monogue.
Also Arthur calling him a poor man's Dr. Faraday and him taking it as a compliment and assuming you meant the late Dr. Faraday. They used the conceit of Arthur not knowing Faraday was a woman, which is strange given that she's a bit of a local celebrity, but it might have made sense if they played with the past and present more with it, the idea that you couldn't not know of Dr. Faraday, but it could escape one's notice that the former had gone on holiday and the present one is his wife.

This is my first ever post on this blog about my art, I hope you all enjoy it.
For a while, I had my own vision of certain characters of TF2, and while the game doesn't show that, I am still a firm believer that the RED and BLU teams have completely different personalities from each other, so I might start a series of drawings of my own version of the RED and BLU team, taking into consideration the comics, the videos made by valve, among other sources that will be credited when due.
Anyway, the story is under "read more"
Antonie, the BLU Scout, lived through most of his life in a wooden cabin in Alaska with his father, he had no idea of what happened to his mother, and his father never knew how to answer his question, all he had that was of her possession was a letter addressed to him of when he was left by the door of their house.
At 14 years old, to help out in the money department at home, as the cabin was slowly falling apart, the heater was hanging on for dear life and his father was working extra hours at night, the young boy went to the small town near the cabin, Kupreanof, and entered a small market place that hasn't had any products delivered to them in a week, Antonie takes the job of getting those supplies, with nothing but a baseball bat and his cold weather gear.
Once there, the problem made itself clear as day, a group of thieves had installed themselves in the facility, where the workers were being held hostage and no items were being delivered. Scout tried several times to sneak in, however, nothing seemed to work, either the thieves would see or hear him coming, or he could not find an entrance to infiltrate the place in the first place.
The time was running out and he had a payment to grab, so, as he ran out of options, he also ran and barged into the place, avoiding bullets and knocking some of the people out with the baseball bat, he grabbed one of the boxes that had the address of the mini market and with a sudden burst of adrenaline, Antonie made it to the small convenient store with the items, he received his payment and returned home with a big smile on his face.
For the rest of his time on this job, Antonie had developed his speed gracefully, the local delinquents never managed to catch him, either he was too fast, or he would run into the dense woods, where he had spent most of his time in his childhood, so he knew it like the back of his hand.
In one of these deliveries, at 21 years old, he had to deliver a package of some ammo to a storage facility on the outskirts near the water, even with his gut feeling telling him no, he needed the money. Once he arrived, the people waiting there were two women and his father.
The older woman called herself The administrator and told Antonie that he had formidable skills that could be used in a team she was building for BLU Corp, he would not only receive training on how to handle his "extra activities", but he would still do what he was doing but receive in double, and both he and his father would be living in more stable conditions, after all, two employees are better than one, getting the revelation of what his father was actually doing for a living.
BLU Corp had paid for the two men to fly to the base, which was also near the water and it was cold and very industrial, and thus, Antonie was now The Scout.

The Anatomy of a Hot Water System
A hot water system comprises multiple components, each serving a specific purpose to ensure a consistent supply of hot water. These components work together efficiently, combining mechanical and electrical elements for seamless operation.
Components of a Hot Water System
BoilerThe boiler heats water to a specific temperature. Powered by natural gas, propane, oil, or electricity, the boiler ensures that heated water is available when needed. It operates in response to signals from a thermostat, maintaining the desired temperature by cycling on and off as required.
Pipes and ValvesPipes, typically made of copper or PEX, carry hot water to taps and appliances, while valves control the flow and pressure. Key valves include:
Check valves: Prevent backflow.
Pressure relief valves: Protect against excessive pressure.
Manual valves: Isolate sections of the system for maintenance.
Hot Water TankStorage-based systems use insulated tanks to maintain heated water. The tank includes a thermostat to monitor and regulate temperature. When hot water is drawn, cold water enters the tank to be reheated. Tankless systems heat water on demand, offering energy efficiency and continuous hot water without storage.
Recirculation PumpThis pump circulates hot water through the plumbing system, ensuring instant hot water at taps and reducing water waste. Recirculation pumps may use timers or thermostats to operate efficiently, turning on only when needed.
Thermostats and Control SystemsThermostats regulate the water temperature, activating the boiler or heater when levels fall below a set point. Modern control systems often include smart thermostats, which allow remote adjustments, energy savings, and diagnostic alerts.
Expansion TankThe expansion tank absorbs pressure increases caused by the thermal expansion of water as it heats. A pressurised air bladder inside the tank compresses to accommodate expanding water, preventing pressure damage to the plumbing system.
Heat TrapsThese devices prevent heat loss by stopping convection within the plumbing system. Heat traps use loops, valves, or specially designed pipes to keep hot water in the system until needed, enhancing efficiency.
Sacrificial Anode RodMade of magnesium or aluminium, the anode rod protects the tank from corrosion by attracting corrosive elements. Regular replacement of this component significantly extends the lifespan of the tank.
Maintenance and Efficiency
Ensuring the longevity and efficiency of your hot water system requires regular maintenance and proactive care. Each component plays a critical role, and neglecting any part can lead to system failures, increased energy costs, or even safety risks. Below is a detailed guide to maintaining key elements of the system and optimising its efficiency:
Regular Maintenance Tasks
Boiler ServicingSchedule professional inspections annually to ensure the boiler is functioning correctly. For gas boilers, this includes checking burners, heat exchangers, and venting systems to avoid carbon monoxide risks. For electric boilers, ensure that heating elements are free from mineral buildup and functioning efficiently.
Pipe and Valve InspectionsInspect pipes for leaks or corrosion and replace them as necessary. Valves, such as pressure relief and check valves, should be tested regularly to ensure they function correctly. Proper valve operation is essential for maintaining water flow and preventing pressure-related issues.
Hot Water Tank MaintenanceDrain and flush storage tanks annually to remove sediment buildup, which can reduce heating efficiency and corrode the tank. For tankless systems, descale the unit periodically, especially in areas with hard water, to prevent blockages and maintain performance.
Recirculation Pump CareCheck recirculation pumps for wear and tear. Lubricate moving parts where applicable, and ensure the pump is set to an optimal schedule to balance convenience with energy efficiency.
Thermostat CalibrationTest and recalibrate thermostats periodically to maintain accurate temperature control. For smart systems, update software regularly to benefit from improved features and diagnostics.
Expansion Tank MonitoringInspect the expansion tank for proper air pressure and ensure that the internal bladder remains intact. Replace the tank promptly if it shows signs of wear to prevent pressure damage to pipes.
Heat Trap InspectionEnsure heat traps are in place and functioning correctly to reduce heat loss. These are often overlooked but can significantly improve energy efficiency.
Anode Rod ReplacementCheck the sacrificial anode rod every 2-3 years and replace it when it shows significant corrosion. A degraded rod is a clear indicator that your tank’s corrosion protection is failing.
Efficiency Optimisation
Upgrade to Tankless SystemsIf you frequently run out of hot water, consider upgrading to a tankless water heater. These systems heat water on demand, eliminating the standby energy losses associated with storage tanks.
Install InsulationInsulate hot water pipes and tanks to minimise heat loss. This simple measure can significantly reduce energy consumption.
Use Smart ThermostatsSmart thermostats can adapt heating schedules to your usage patterns, ensuring hot water is available when needed without excessive energy use.
Adopt Energy-Saving HabitsSmall changes, like reducing the temperature setting on your water heater and using low-flow fixtures, can lower energy bills without compromising comfort.
Conclusion
A hot water system is a vital component of any home, providing the convenience of heated water for daily tasks. However, like any mechanical system, it requires regular maintenance to ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety. By understanding the function of each component and addressing potential issues early, you can extend the lifespan of your system and avoid unnecessary costs.
Partnering with a professional Plumber Perth ensures that your system is maintained to the highest standards. From routine inspections to component upgrades, a skilled plumber can identify inefficiencies, perform essential repairs, and recommend energy-saving solutions tailored to your needs.

Inconsistent Water Temperature
Inconsistent water temperature in a solar water heater system can be a frustrating issue that affects the system's performance and your comfort. This problem can arise from various factors, including system design issues, component malfunctions, or environmental factors. Here's a detailed guide to understanding and troubleshooting inconsistent water temperature in your solar water heater:
1. Insufficient Solar Gain (Poor Sunlight Exposure)
What to Look For: If the water temperature fluctuates depending on the time of day or weather conditions, it may be due to inadequate solar energy being absorbed by the collectors.
Possible Causes:
Cloudy or Overcast Weather: On cloudy days or during periods of overcast weather, the solar collectors may not be able to absorb enough sunlight, leading to lower water temperatures.
Shading: If the solar panels are shaded by trees, buildings, or other obstructions, they may not receive enough sunlight, reducing the system's efficiency.
Seasonal Changes: During winter months or in regions with low sun exposure, the system may not be able to maintain a consistent water temperature due to less sunlight.
Solution:
Ensure Proper Sunlight Exposure: Ensure that the solar collectors are placed in a location where they will receive optimal sunlight throughout the day. Trim trees or remove obstructions that may cause shading.
Consider Hybrid Systems: If solar gain is inconsistent due to weather or location, you might want to consider a hybrid system with a backup heating element (gas, electric, or heat pump) to ensure consistent water temperature, especially during cloudy days or winter months.
2. Faulty Thermostat or Temperature Controller
What to Look For: If the water temperature fluctuates unexpectedly, it could be due to a malfunctioning thermostat or temperature controller that is not regulating the water temperature properly.
Possible Causes:
Inaccurate Temperature Reading: The thermostat may be giving incorrect readings, leading to inconsistent heating of the water.
Calibration Issues: The thermostat or temperature controller may need recalibration to accurately control the temperature of the water.
Solution:
Check Thermostat Settings: Ensure that the thermostat is set to the correct temperature and hasn’t been accidentally altered.
Recalibrate the Thermostat: If the thermostat is giving inaccurate readings, it may need recalibration or replacement. Consult the manufacturer’s instructions or hire a professional to do this.
Test the Controller: If the controller is digital, ensure that it’s functioning properly. Replace the temperature controller if it's malfunctioning.
3. Issues with the Heat Transfer Fluid (for Closed-Loop Systems)
What to Look For: Inconsistent water temperature can also be a result of issues with the heat transfer fluid in closed-loop systems, which carry heat from the solar collectors to the storage tank.
Possible Causes:
Low Fluid Levels: If the heat transfer fluid level is low, it can impair the system’s ability to transfer heat effectively, leading to fluctuating water temperatures.
Airlocks: Air trapped in the system can reduce the efficiency of heat transfer and cause temperature inconsistencies.
Frozen Fluid: In colder climates, the heat transfer fluid could freeze, especially if the system has not been properly winterized, leading to a lack of heat transfer.
Solution:
Check Fluid Levels: Inspect the system for signs of low fluid levels and top it up as necessary. Regularly check the fluid levels to ensure that they are at the correct level.
Bleed the System: If there is air trapped in the pipes, use a bleed valve to remove the air and restore proper fluid circulation.
Check for Freezing: If the system is exposed to freezing temperatures, make sure the fluid is properly winterized with antifreeze to prevent freezing.
4. Overheating or Underheating
What to Look For: If the water temperature swings dramatically between hot and cold, the system may be overheating or underheating.
Possible Causes:
Faulty Pressure Relief Valve: If the pressure relief valve is stuck open, it could allow hot water to escape or cold water to enter, causing fluctuations in temperature.
Improper Sizing of System: If the Solar Water Heater system is not properly sized for the demand or climate conditions, it may struggle to maintain a consistent temperature.
Solution:
Inspect the Pressure Relief Valve: If you suspect the pressure relief valve is malfunctioning, have it inspected and replaced if necessary.
Consider System Sizing: Ensure that the system is correctly sized for your needs. A system that is too small for your hot water demand may struggle to maintain a consistent temperature. Consult with a professional to determine if a larger system is needed.
5. Sediment or Scale Build-Up in the Tank
What to Look For: A build-up of sediment or mineral scale in the tank can restrict water flow and heat transfer, leading to inconsistent temperatures.
Possible Causes:
Hard Water: In areas with hard water, minerals like calcium can accumulate in the tank, affecting the efficiency of the system and leading to fluctuating temperatures.
Sediment Build-Up: Over time, dirt, rust, and other particles can settle at the bottom of the tank, reducing the system’s efficiency.
Solution:
Flush the Tank: Periodically flush the tank to remove sediment build-up. This will help ensure proper water flow and heat transfer.
Install a Water Softener: If you live in an area with hard water, consider installing a water softener to prevent mineral deposits from forming in the system.
Clean the Tank: If scale or sediment buildup is severe, the tank may need to be cleaned by a professional.
6. Faulty Solar Collector or Damage to Panels
What to Look For: If one of the solar collector panels is damaged or malfunctioning, it can affect the system’s ability to generate heat, leading to inconsistent water temperatures.
Possible Causes:
Cracked or Broken Panels: Physical damage to the solar panels, such as cracks or leaks, can reduce their efficiency and heat transfer capacity.
Dirty or Obstructed Panels: Dust, dirt, leaves, or other debris can block sunlight from reaching the panels, reducing their ability to heat the water properly.
Solution:
Inspect for Damage: Check the solar panels for cracks, leaks, or other visible damage. If panels are damaged, they may need to be repaired or replaced.
Clean the Panels: Regularly clean the solar panels to remove dirt and debris that could block sunlight. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for cleaning.
7. Faulty Pump or Circulation System
What to Look For: In active systems that rely on pumps to circulate water, a malfunctioning pump or circulation system could result in inconsistent heating and water temperature.
Possible Causes:
Pump Failure: If the circulation pump is not functioning properly, the water may not be circulating through the system effectively, leading to temperature fluctuations.
Clogged Pipes: If the pipes are clogged or obstructed, water may not flow freely, reducing the system’s heating efficiency.
Solution:
Inspect the Pump: Ensure the pump is operating correctly. If it's malfunctioning, it may need to be repaired or replaced.
Check for Clogs: Inspect the pipes for any blockages or buildup that could be restricting water flow. Cleaning the pipes can help restore proper circulation.
8. Backup Heating System Malfunction
What to Look For: Many solar water heaters have a backup heating element (electric, gas, or heat pump) to maintain water temperature during cloudy days or periods of low sunlight.
Possible Causes:
Faulty Backup Heater: If the backup heater is not working correctly, it may fail to heat the water, leading to inconsistent temperatures.
Improper Settings: If the backup heater’s thermostat is set too low, it may not engage properly when needed.
Solution:
Check the Backup Heater: Ensure the backup heating system is functioning properly. If it’s malfunctioning, have it repaired or replaced.
Adjust Settings: Verify that the backup heater’s thermostat is set to the appropriate temperature and that the system is configured to engage when necessary.
