Additional info: Headcanons are on a queue however I may also post them randomly if I come up with one suddenly. RP responses after the first, if I'm not feeling well and don't want to be overwhelmed, will be queued 1-3 days after i answer them.

If I do not answer your ask, response to my starter, etc. there are no hard feelings on my end. I may not have been inspired, may have been in a writing funk, or otherwise chose not to answer with no malice in my heart. His posture was angled in a way that suggested standing there was an imposition on his time, even despite the fact he could do nothing else.

"Fortunately for us both, neither of us is able to harm the other while I remain locked in this place. Trust, if that were not the case, you would not be standing there to make your strange and hollow threats."

Vallas'Elgara's eyes lit up with intrigue and a slight embarrassment. Neve was a beautiful and strong. She was one of the few people to genuinely gain the attention of Val. Being under this odd tevinter plant in a tradition that meant kissing had them flustered.

Vallas'Elgara wasn't used to intimacy, even if it was out of a “tradition,” but they weren't against it. It left them surprised, but intrigued. When the kiss eventually ended, they were left blushing and wide eyed. “I'm.. not used to this, but- it was... fun..?”

"Oh, great..." Raena sighed, flicking the mistletoe with her thumb and forefinger in her frustration. It was not so terrible to be stuck under it with Val, just... an awkward situation to be caught in at all. Well, she did not want to chicken out. She had a reputation to uphold, right? Stepping closer, her arm draped casually around Val's shoulders to draw her in, pressing a kiss to her lips firmly but briefly.

Vallas'Elgara eyes bore into the former priest. To think, someone who once worshipped their gods no longer wished to help. It was blasphemous.

⠀VALLEL, the SINGULARITY — THE SUNSET

An alternative universe where Vallas'Elgara becomes an Evanuris. This can take place during Ancient Arlathen or after they give the dagger to Elgar'nan.

In Ancient Arlathen, and among the Dalish elves would pray to Vallel when they desired an inescapable truth for those who wronged them. You can never escape the singularity or the eventual setting of the sun.

Short description (until I flesh them out more): Val was born during a solar eclipse in a dalish village that had a particular obsession with Elgar'nan. In turn, they grew up in love with Elgar'nan, to the point where even the events of the game wouldn't change it... to a delusional degree. They believe they were meant to bring him back and restore his glory… While interacting with other's they put up the front of hating Elgar'nan, but the moment they got the Lyrium dagger, they decided their goal wasn't to stop him… but to instead bring the dagger to him and join him. Of course, after a long time with their companions, another goal sprouted: Asking for him to protect their friends in exchange for their loyalty and the dagger. <3

Even if Sunset were to see the "true" nature of Elgar'nan, they would not lose devotion. They would genuinely believe it had a greater meaning, that he was the "gentle hand" he claims to be. Nothing except Elgar'nan himself, and I mean NOTHING except Elgar'nan can change them.

For rooks:

This character is a NPC who can temporarily assist rook in veil jumper quests, and disappears during weisshaupt. (Presumed to have been taken by Ghila'nain upon their request!!!)

They're last seen hiding behind Elgar'nan's throne in the final fight... It's assumed they survived and left to rejoin the veil jumpers & live with the loss of their god in shame.

Or... your rook gave into Elgy and they enthusiastically befriend your rook :)

Vallas'Elgara had a smug look on their face. They had won! Or, at least, didn't falter. Entirely. They were blushing still, and their tail was erratic with excitement.

They looked back and saw the expression on Neve's face, their favorite detective, favorite human (not shem'len?) and couldn't help but stop. Perhaps, running away was rash. Maybe they should indulge her. They did love the attention.

Warm brown eyes widened in momentary surprise before they turned to crescents as a tiny, absolutely dorky giggle took her over. It was such a cute gesture from anyone but it had to be from one of the bright elves who she just wanted to squish sometimes.

With a playful wink she blew a kiss back to Val before turning back around to try and avoid giggling like a school girl.
