They look at her with wide eyes, their tail twitching as they stare longer. They didn't quite understand, did she not see the greatness in their god? He is a perfect God. So many years worshipping him, they would only believe the most merciful versions of him.

They looked at the dead bodies themself, finding the corpses gross and setting them ablaze in response. To call themselves worshippers of Elgar'nan was blasphemous.

“ He has never directly promised anything, but I know my god is perfect. I know he will bring glory, truth, love, and the rebuilding of our fallen empire. ” They looked up at the woman with a passion, one so delusional they would never understand reason. ”

Kekipi's ears twitched at their comment as she gazes down at her thrall investigating the dead bodies. Her lavender eyes flicker over to Val and she cants her head to the side, her lips pursed slightly as she ponders her next words. This child... believed the world needed him? His vision? Once upon a time, she would believe such a thing but how he was executing it? With what was at cost? She couldn't agree.

She shakes her head slightly, a soft sigh coming from her, "You and I must see him in different lights then," she says, a hand resting on the should shoulder of the stallion that now raises his head to look to their new companion.

"I believe what affects how I see him is from the experience of being around him intimately so," she says, "I wonder though," she hums, "What promises has he filled your head with?"

Vallas'Elgara had a smug look on their face. They had won! Or, at least, didn't falter. Entirely. They were blushing still, and their tail was erratic with excitement.

They looked back and saw the expression on Neve's face, their favorite detective, favorite human (not shem'len?) and couldn't help but stop. Perhaps, running away was rash. Maybe they should indulge her. They did love the attention.

Warm brown eyes widened in momentary surprise before they turned to crescents as a tiny, absolutely dorky giggle took her over. It was such a cute gesture from anyone but it had to be from one of the bright elves who she just wanted to squish sometimes.

With a playful wink she blew a kiss back to Val before turning back around to try and avoid giggling like a school girl.
