Warming up today with another retrOCtober doodle. Today's OC is Valdis, an ex-valkyrie turned advocate for the newly dead in the court that determines your afterlife fate.

Orin fight as a dark urge is something truly next level

Especially as a redeeming durge. This is my 3rd run of the game and the narrative is just amazing, the best I had so far (also, oath of vengeance fits durge perfectly).

Spoilers ahead!

The music, the speech, Orin taking form of my character as she describes what she did to her? Chills. My butler saying I should train harder only to see me smiting Orin into oblivion in 2 turns while I took like 15 damage? Priceless. And then rejecting Bhaal, dying, getting resurrected by Jergal/Withers. I was in tears. And also my beloved Astarion telling my durge that she deserves to live and saved him more times than he could ever count? I'm writing a fic with him and Valdis as we speak.

Yes, they kissed while standing on top of Orin's corpse. That's probably one of my favorite screenshots I took ever. Just look at them. Both free of their past, ready to start a new life after they save the world.

Damn, I love this game.
