Underdog coupling, ARTIFICER/SAINT, two slugcats struggling with karma, both in being knocked down and (potentially) clawing their way back up the ladder, with dramatically differing methods of survival throughout. (lost week 1 (45.2% (137 votes) against nightlight) -> 74% (365 votes) in week 2 against counterstrike -> 71.8% (255 votes) in week 3 against piranha -> 78.1% (361 votes) in week 4 against lanternfish -> 52.5% (319 votes) in week 5 against godmode and spearsaint). In total they amassed 1437 votes, and garnered at least 9 propaganda posts (some may have been lost in reblogs).

HOW THIS WILL WORK: between 10 slugcats, there are 44 viable pairings one could and likely has concocted. this blog will have them face off against each other to see who reigns supreme.

5 weeks of hard competition have shown us the top three of two branches; now in week 6 we will see who rises above as the true premium ship- Artisaint or Artihunter?

GOOD VIBES ONLY! there will be no discourse and no hurt feelings- it's just a good natured competition to see who wins a title on the internet, so don't take it too seriously. two pairs will be randomly placed against each other with a weeks time for votes to be cast, and the highest at the end of the week moves on to the next week. two lucky winner pairs on week one will be carried through week two to compete again in week three due to the number of pairings being nonideal.

as of week two, the formula has shifted slightly- losers of week one are given one second chance and will face against each other until week 5, where the #1 of both brackets, an overt winner and an underdog, will face off on week 6.

there are still FIVE AND A HALF days to vote; ive just been preemptively pushing ships i think look like theyll win so its less work on the dawn of that final day for me. here are all of the ships with over 30% lead (65%+). of course, tides can still change and if youre displeased by your favorite potentially losing out you can always fight for your life to see them remain! theres tons more ships around 60-70% than any higher so dont lose hope yet (especially with more than 5 days to go).

just a fun idea to project who we're going to see throw down later to mentally prepare :P

we are HALFWAY THROUGH week one, and only 3 days and 10 hours remain to vote. above is the ships with a 30% lead (65%+ status) projected onto week 2 and a breakdown of every ships current standing. i will say, things were extreme in the first few days but have evened out a bunch and i had to REMOVE ships rather than add as i kept updated in preparation. everyones trending towards 40-60 and im seeing some back and forth.
