Yeah life got busy and I fell behind. So let’s dive right into the dumpster fire!

I actually didn’t realize that was Harumi and not Mei LOL It has been too long. We really need more of Harumi, she is my favorite chaacter.

EPISODE 5! I can’t believe this starts off with, “I’ve done more dirty things with you than her!” I love Yuzucchi is like, “Don’t tell me how to live my life, I’ll cross whoever lines I want!”

Not too much going on. Yuzucchi and VP are forced t sit together. They almost make plans for the 4 of them. Mei gets a letter from her dad that Yuzucchi is all stupid about. Oh yeah I guess Yuzucchi has a dad too.

This train drama is ridiculous! Not a good commercial for Japanese trains. That is hella crowded! But then we get to this insanity! “Maybe it is my moment to cross a line.” BITCH YOU HAVE CROSSED SEVERAL ALREADY! And then she licks her ear! WTF! 50 shades of are you fucking kidding me!

While I guess that VP plotline is cleared up.That was a bit anticlimactic.

STOP FUCKEN TALKING ABOUT HER DAD!

Now we have drama with Mei being sick? This show is weird with its transitions. Take a drink everytime Yuzucchi mentions Mei’s dad in an awkward way!

Are you fucking kidding me! I had forced myself to forget that Yuzucchi has never met her mom’s new husband but now I am reminded. HOW!? How do you marry someone that has never met your kid that you live with!!! Also yeah her dad seems a lot different from both Mei and her grandfather. This show is so weird!

Wow this story got stupid! Mei misses the stern strict version of her father. She refuses to accept the more laid-back fun-loving version of her father. I don’t think I have ever heard a dumber plot points. I don’t think I can even get into this fanservice because I am still so distracted by how dumb this plot is. But I guess hooray for using sexual tension to solve problems. DAAAAAMMMN! I was so not invested in this sex scene until Mei said, “Tell me what you want, I’m good at taking orders.” 

He travels the world teaching people. How the hell did her mom meet him! Then the mom gets involved and again how the hell do they know each other? How did they get married???

Please give me more Harumi! She is the best part of the show. Her mom works construction. Wait the dad is leaving already!  WTF!

“They could expel you for a reckless stunt like that!“ Did you forget what she did the first few days. I relate a lot to Yuzucchi. People think I am reckless a lot when I often am not.

So are Mei’s daddy issues cleared up? Is the show over? LOL Oh I guess we need more kissing first. I also guess we are finally going to meet Pinkhaired headphones girl who seems like she is ging to fuck things up with Yuzucchi’s life for the Lulz.

Citrus Episode 3 Liveblog

Episode has been out for almost a week and I have had no time to watch it so lets watch it on Valentine’s Day! I am sure this will be absolutely not romantic haahaahaa

She walks in on the grandfather having a heat attack!??? How convenient. 

She is embarrassed to say her name??? Such a Japanese thing.

So the grandfather is nice now? Also Yuzucchi and Mei’s relationship is better now. Is this story done? Most of the conflict seems fixed.

Good thing in Japan it is very normal and natural to have manga about sisters wanting to bang each other. Inspires our protagonist to keep up her incest feelings. Under the guise of “Getting closer.” She practically asked her friend, “How do I get my sister to bang me?” I would much rather see her friend get heated with her rather than Mei, her sister.

A DOUBLE BED! The mom is encouraging the incest! Ummm I almost feel proud of the mom even though I know I 100% shouldn’t LOL

Yuzucchi is still disturbed while Mei is unfazed. And then they fall into the water together! SERIOUSLY! This is so cheesy!

The English dub is really heavy on the slang and how informal Yuzucchi’s dialogue is. I know it is accurate but it is just so hard to localize that.

Although worried this is about to get super rapey again.So ummm is this suppose to be rapey or romanticly touching? I get going for emotional disconnect but this is a little extreme. Citrus Episode 1 Liveblog

I have waited a long time for this! A long time ago I heard both Netsuzou Trap and Citrus were 2 manga that dealt with yuri relationships when everything else was only about yaoi. Citrus had pretty art but the plot of NTR intrigued me so I read that and planned to one day get to Citrus. While I never did but I heard both were getting anime adaptations. I live blogged quite a bit about NTR so let’s see how Citrus compares. Going in I feel like Citrus is the more popular book so I am curious to see how it holds up. I am looking forward to a lot of forbidden desires but tempting fruit too good to ignore. Course mixed in with a bit of trashy romance and fanservice. Let’s see how expectations are met.

We start off with girls talking about hot guys to date. Very cliche. Our main protagonist looks..... ummm not my type.That is ok though. I will probably learn to like her.

I can tell that anylsising this OP probably needs its own separate post but let’s see what I can get from it. We see our protagonists standing next to each other but looking away bitterly.Yuzu looks a bit cuter here without her excessive makeup.Yuzu does really like putting her makeup though. How come the knees of these prefect girls are so pink? That really stands out as weird to me. Yuzuchi likes to take selfies, no surprise. More our duotagonsits living together but not liking it and avoiding eye contact.Yuzu is walking and talking with a friend while Mei is walking in front of her looking very alone and like she wants to maybe not necessarily be the one she is talking to but at least have someone to talk to like Yuzu does.Oh this scene of them turning around to make eye contact with each other at both home and school is beautifully animated! Holding hands and then... OH SHIT we got real detailed on that tongue kiss. This OP is not beating around the bush! Wait what is going on now? That kiss feels like a climax moment but it is in the middle of the OP so how do you follow it up? With a bunch of very random scenes of them together. Gets you all confused until they are lying naked to each other and everything feels good with the world again.We get a scene of young Mei and a man who I think is her father. Then a family photo and her crying so her dad probably left her. Wait who is this pink hair girl? She seems really important.The 4 girls walking. Wait what is going on. At first I though the two holding hands were a different couple but that is Mei in the middle. 2 girls in punk clothes and 2 girls in prefect clothes but the lovers are star-crossed. Maybe.4 girls again for a brief second at an arcade. The pink haired one is here now but hse wasn’t one of the ones in the other 4 girl shot. They have the arcade guns pointed at each other. Also how short are those shorts! And it ends with the scene from the beginning but they hold hands, turn, and kiss each other. Very sweet!

After analyzing that OP for so long I feel like the entire episode is over already! But we start with Yuzu getting dressed in her new apartment. we get a line about how shallow and stereotypical valley girl she is. But the real story here is THIS ANIMATION! Fucken wow they spent a lot of money to make this look good! So many details in her character. Her nails stand out so much.

Wait! I knew her name was Yuzucchi! I thought that is what they said but when I looked up the other girl’s name on Wikipedia it also said hers was just Yuzu. Wikipedia lied to me! From now on she is Yuzuchhi so she is not confused with Hiragi Yuzu. 

Anyways she lies about how far she has gone with guys and wants her first kiss to be magical. Painfully cliche!

Oh I need to look up the cast list. I think the curly haired girl is a VA I like. Oh wait not who I thought. Bryn Apprill who hasn’t done too much but was Crista in AoT, the green haired vine girl in Hero Aca, and the robotic girl from Riddle Story. Oh also Yaya from Unbreakable Machine Doll too. Ok sorry for random VA tangent.

And now we meet Mei. Citrus seems infatuated with her but also ready to stand up and defend herself. WHAT THE FUCK! WHAT THE FUCK! WHAT THE FUCK! She just not only hugs her but grabs her ass. In front of the whole school! Ok I can shamelessly say I am down for more ass-grabbing in this anime.

Oh male teacher that Yuzuchhi is all hot over. Ok then. Lots of establishing shots of how gorgeous the school looks. I like how she writes her name. Ok I am liking Yuzu. She is super social extravert like me. I want to be her friends.

Oh I like this new friend. She seems really cool. Mei is engaged to a teacher? WTF! Japan is weird. Ewww boob sweat cell phone. I bet hot teacher is engaged to Mei. WTF! She is still a student and him an adult teacher. You not only get fired but go to jail for that kind of thing. Japan is still weird. Intense kissing though.

I cannot tell if mei enjoys the kissing or not but she does enjoy knowing Yuzucchi sees her. Is she just fantasizing that Yuzucchi is kissing her or is she just an exhibitonist.

Yuzucchi has never met her mom’s new husband? HOW? Like fucken how? How does your parent date someone you have never met? Did she skip the wedding? And of course Yuzucchi doesn’t know that the husband has a daughter! Any sense of realism in this story just got thrown out the window. I get this adds drama but this is too impossible!

I feel bad for Mei. She is so shy and reserved. So awkward.

BATH SCENE! Time for fanservice! Yeah no shit how could your mom just bring this all on you! Is Yuzuchhi going to drown herself. Oh she also looks pretty with her hair wet. I actualyl thought that fanservice would last longer.

Starting to think Mei has mental problems. She is just straight up ignoring her. How rude! I know some people have social issues but this is going too far. Course Yuzuchhi is going right for the dirty blow stab! Even accused her of enjoying the thrill of getting caught. And of course Mei pins her and makes out with her. Damn Yuzucchi is struggling a lot but is really being forced down. I am actually pretty uncomfortable watching this, it is pretty rapey. But Yuzucchi kind of gives in and starts to like it.... I am tempted to admit how hot it is but I feel so guilty saying that. Damn Mei’s dialogue is brutal! WTF! She just straight up robbed her of her first kiss. Moral of the story kids, your first _____ is really not a big deal at all. Stop letting the media tell you that it is and you will live a happier life.

Not many thoguhts on the ED or episode preview except we are getting a little more details on mei’s true personality.

Ok that took a long time to watch because I kept pausing it to write down my thoughts. Overall I like it a lot. It has some really stupid plot points that make sense and is indeed incredibly trashy but the character interaction is solid which is why someone would watch this anyways. I have a love/hate relationship with Yuzucchi and I kind of dislike Mei but am very intrigued by her. Oh but Yuzucchi’s new friend is realy cool. I can’t wait for more!
