How are Lotor's generals? You get any problems from people for being with them? You guys ever share relatable hybrid moments together?

Acxa is the only general who has stuck around on Earth, Zethrid and Ezor are aways on missions for the Blade of Mamora’s recon group. I’m not always on missions, neither is Acxa, so we don’t meet up super often.

We do get quite a few problems. People know the Blade of Mamora as a galra only group, however Zethrid and Acxa are the only galra looking out of us four. Even then, they do look a little different than most, Zethrid especially.

I guess we relate on that front, either we aren’t galra enough or we’re too galra. That causes people to be afraid of us. Acxa obviously has issues way more than me on Earth, but Veronica and the McClains have definitely helped her acclimate to the culture there.

People still struggle to see galrans as people, more than any other foreign race on Earth. I think I help a bit with settling fears, since I look human and am pleasant enough, but I can only speak out so much.

I said in one of my previous posts that I headcanon Lotor as being disgustingly straight and I'd like to clarify

In my head Lotor is so straight it physically ills you

He's so straight he doesn't even know what the word 'gay' means

So straight he can't even fathom gay people

He has no idea two of his generals are lesbians. He just thinks they're really good friends.

And Team Voltron? He automatically assumes they're all straight too, and when he sees the Red Paladin and Blue Paladin sucking face in the hallway he just assumes the Red Paladin is a woman cause of that long hair.

And then the next time he sees Keith, Lotor's like "well hello miss", and gets a face full of fist

So straight that when Ezor tries to explain gay people to him while he's covering his face with an ice pack, he looks at her with a dumb expression

Hi. Here are my queer headcanons for voltron characters in no particular order. These are purely vibes based I mostly have no logic

Lance: bisexual - trans man - he/him

Keith: gay - trans man - he/him

Pidge: aroace - non-binary or genderfluid I can't pick - any pronouns? Either that or mirror pronouns

Hunk: panromantic asexual - cis man - he/him

Shiro: gay (obviously) - cis man - he/they

I have many thoughts about sexuality/gender hcs for literally any aliens because of how labels transfer over etc etc also in my heart Altea didnt have the emphasis on labels and other junk like we do. So any queer hcs for aliens are just the closest to what I think theyd be, and if they're altean theyre unlabelled but I used what I'd choose if I had to assign labels based on what fits best

When the paladins got back to Earth, they weren't thinking about politics or how tough it would be to integrate the entire universe with Earth's database. And of course, somehow, Keith ended up being the one person to have to deal with the Gala resistance fighters and making sure they filed their damn paperwork.

"Yes, I know you've already moved Acxa into your clan Kolivan, but Earth doesn't see it that way. You have to fill out adoption papers, so they know she's your kid."

"No, Ezor I know you and Zethred are bonded. But Earth needs you to fill a marital status. Why? In case you get hurt in Earth territory. Yes, I know you can handle yourself, but the government needs to know who to contact."

"Krolia you have to officially notice Romelle as your kindling by Earth standards. Why? Because mom, I'm a member of the government and they need to know who is considered family and who isn't."

"No, Ezor and I don't consider each other family but because Acxa does, it goes into my paperwork as us being family."

"Zethrid, Ezor, you can't take random alien babies and claim them as your own without bringing them in for a checkup and filing the paperwork... Because Zethrid, Earth thinks were family!"

Keith specifically spends as little time as possible on Earth just so he doesn't have to update his paperwork. Galra customs and Earth paperwork don't mix well, and Keith is kind of sick of it.

So, when I saw your post about it being obvious that the Season 8 we got was heavily edited and changed. It made me go on the Voltron TV Tropes page and search the "What Could Have Been" page, and I found this on there.

It is quoted like this:

"Ezor and Zethrid were supposed to both die: Ezor being killed in the explosion in Season 7 and Zethrid being killed trying to avenge her in Season 8. To avoid more Bury Your Gays controversy, the Season 8 episode in question was rewritten so that Zethrid was angry about Ezor leaving her rather than being killed, Keith then saves Zethrid and she is reunited and reconciled with Ezor. The fact that they do very little after this and that Ezor's voice actress wasn't even brought back (instead it was Allura's voice actress voicing her instead) is a dead giveaway that something got changed in production."

Hi Hi!! Thank you for sending this through - this is actually going to be addressed in the meta too. I can confirm 100% that Ezor was never meant to come back. She died in Season 7. That's the whole motivation and driving force as to why the episode even occurs; Zethrid seeking revenge on Keith for the loss of their partner in crime.

Team Purple Lion also covered this in great detail too, but I'll definitely address it within this meta.

There was a consistent theme in the first half of Season 8:
