A Redraw! 2020 vs 2024!

This is my voltron oc Harlow Calloway! I have always been pretty happy with how the original piece from 2020 came out but I really love my updated version!

I drew a couple outfit options for this piece. The small purple dress is a little reminiscent of the original, but i took away the sleeves to show off her prosthetic and her altean marks. The second outfit is more traditional altean garments that she would wear on her home planet!

I imagine this scene would happen after the paladins defeat the Empire. A bout of self reflection within a moment of calm after the storm.

Under the tutelage of now-retired Paladin and Captain of the IGF-Atlas, Takashi Shirogane, five brave souls from all corners of the known (and unknown) universe come together to form the protector of the universe, and to continue the great work of the warriors before them.

Rummitz - Paladin of the Green Lion, She/He

A resourceful tactician of questionable origins. Initially discovered her bond with the Green Lion on the planet Olkarion during a support drop-off by now-retired Paladin Pidge Holt.

Rummitz's connection to the Green Lion sparked a three year long expedition to find and train the next Paladins of Voltron.

Taya - Paladin of the Yellow Lion, He/They

Hailing from the peaceful planet of Puig, Taya is known for their courage and tenacity. His bond with the Yellow Lion was discovered during a short stop at Puig, where the a festival was held in Voltron's honor.

Xyzy - Paladin of the Red Lion, She/They

Calm, calculating but quick to strike, Xyzy was rescued from a Galra prison ship where she was arrested after being found to have given crucial information about one of Emperor Zarkon's experiments to the Blade of Marmora. They were later taken in by the Garrison and made their connection with Keith Kogane, and subsequently the Red Lion.

Aries - Paladin of the Blue Lion, She/Her

Less of a sharp shooter, more of a pound-into-dust sort of gal, but don't take that to mean she's dull - a sharp wit and an even sharper glare might make you want to stay on your toes.

Aries made her connection with the Blue Lion after an accident at the Garrison that injured her right leg. She spent the months healing in the aircraft hangers talking to pilots and dreaming she'd one day get to be one herself.

Yohe - Paladin of the Black Lion, It/They

Unexplained and inexplicable, this eerily quiet bundle of quintessence is certain they're the last of their kind, but it doesn't remember anything before the time it woke up from it's pod that crash landed onto Earth.

It's connection with the Black Lion is fuzzy at best. Something blocks the two from truly connecting, which causes problems for the team when they're in a tight spot and could really use the full power of Voltron.

In the process of making me and my bf voltron OCs (bf has never seen voltron so I'm taking over most of the design lmaoo) I'm doing basically a new storyline where we're both voltron paladins but we both relate to 2 lions so which ones do we pick??? 😭😭😭

I relate to Yellow and Red, and he relates to Blue and Black

We've taken multiple tests but I still don't know AHDKRBSKHFKD

(Most info in the photo but heres a small breakdown of the story of the white lion:)

-so the one thing that really annoyed me about how Voltron was created was there was no prototype, they had no physical proof that the project would work, so here is the fix!

-The white lion was a prototype for the voltron project, and it is smaller and less finished than the other lions, however it was supposedly 'destroyed' when the other lions were sent away

-the trash planet that it was stored on lead a group of refugees, including a white paladin, to use it to protect themselves and create a safe place, near the edge of the known universe away from the Galra. this soon became a place full of refugees and soon a trade planet for rebellions and resistances, the views they follow mean that the planet is almost entirely cash-free and relys more on trade than buying.

Calyx

-Calyx is very anti-establishment and watches over the entry ways and trade route, making sure that theres no-one suspicious coming in or out, however upon inheriting the lion, they feel as if it wants to find the others, causing them to find Allura's castle and the others during the season 1 finale.

-the white lion relys mainly on stealth and tracking, so they stay in the background for a while

-Calyx also has mild chronic pain and uses a wheelchair sometimes, they also use braces and tech to ease the pain
