Starter Call 2.0 for a reunion starter
The halls of the ship seemed so barren without anyone else around. There had been another, but he had vanished at some point. He always disappeared and came back after fixing one problem or another. Time was relative. It meant nothing within the confines of this ship.
After detecting a source of life, reserve power kicked in and lit up the main passageway to the bridge. Once the life source entered, the panel began to glow.
A voice came from above, an uncannily familiar one.
"Welcome back, Captain."

"Current ship status is..."
The sudden blaring of alarms surely answered the question on their own, but since they had been mid-report, it was necessary to complete it.
"Absolutely catastrophic."
Nothing was on fire, at least not in the immediate vicinity, and the shields were cast over the picturesque yet impractical viewing window. Surely, this would mitigate some damage. However, other parts of the ship could use the captain's attention.
Protocol designated that under such circumstances, the Head Engineer should be revived, but a slight hesitation occurred in the script. How odd.

The silence spoke so many words, the sound of nothingness becoming a bit of routine for them at this point, however, it wasn't like it hurt any less. Their fingers traced the metal frames of the ship, they were back again in this fucking cryotube.
Their fist comes into contact with the tinted glass before the pod opens up with a sharp sound and a familiar voice ringing in their ears.
Amari rests a hand on their head, groaning as a sharp pain travels up their spine to their head.
"C-Computer... what is the status... of the ship..?"
They likely knew the answer...

The Wolf - A. Aretas (Part II) ❤️🩹
Title: The Wolf - A. Aretas (Part II) ❤️🩹
Fandom: “Bad Boys” Film Universe
Character: Armando Aretas
Pairing: Armando Aretas + Female Reader
Main Storyline: One target seems invincible until you cross his path. @nelo0wesker
=====
2025
“Hey. I'll be quick to give some advice. Don't start a fight whenever you see Armando. I'm still trying to help out.” Famous Miami Detective Mike Lowrey greets you for the first time in quite a while.
“Of course.” You nodded toward Mike and remembered showing common sense in public.
As you joined everyone this morning, Captain Rita Secada leads this briefing once Mike sits down with his partner and best friend Marcus Burnett.
Time passes once more and you leave with details on that future assignment, but Mike stands in this hall while talking on the phone.
“You good?” Mike whispered to the caller and your heart raced. “What? Damn, okay. Take it easy, all right? See you tomorrow.”
“Is everything all right?” You offered genuine concern when Mike hung up.
“Armando's out for the day. Dammit!” Mike shook his head and immediately left this precinct, upset.
*****
Mike also married this remarkable person, Christine, last year. The well-versed physical therapist eased Lowrey's shooting rehabilitation.
After returning to Miami for good, Armando Aretas stayed with Mike, his biological father.
“He's still in the guest room.” Christine whispered to Mike at home.
“Thanks, babe.” Mike kissed Christine's cheek and headed upstairs for his son.
_____
“Hey, it's me.” Mike carefully knocked on the guest room door.
“One second…” Armando seemed exhausted despite taking this shower to clear his mind.
Wearing this shirt and sweatpants, Armando emerged from that guest room. Nearly bloodshot eyes watched Mike across the short distance.
Lowrey knew this exact problem: Isabel's birthday marked the calendar.
“No pressure, but you can always talk to us, man.” Mike settled care. “Need anything?”
“Space.” Armando genuinely offered his own truth.
“Got you. I'll head back downstairs.” Mike stepped away and left his son, giving boundaries.
*****
The next day, you see Armando walking toward you, but his exhaustion is palpable enough to calm down this grudge. You know much better.
“Hey.” Armando greets you before sitting down at his desk.
“Sorry.” You've finally apologized, not even dramatic, though honest and brief.
“I understand.” Armando takes your word and moves on.
The future is mysterious, but your hatred no longer matters.

there literally is no proof that summer is actually dead and i will die on this hill. no one ever outright says she died. it’s always: “when she didn’t come back” (qrow in v7) “ruby’s mom left too” (yang in v2) “everyone you’ve taken from me” (yang in v8) “she was wrong too” (salem in v7) and now “from an invincible monster that took your mother” (ruby in v9). not only that, but summers verse in red like roses part ii is literally sung in present tense (“i wanna tell you that you’re all that ever mattered” / “want you to know that for eternity i’m shattered”). keep in mind, there is no body where her grave is. they all just assumed she left and died. assumed.

Sunward I've Climbed
AO3 Link
Summary: A Tale of Friendship and, eventually, Love in the Skies over War-Torn Europe
When the United States began integrating women into military units before and, especially, after Pearl Harbor--and not just confining them to important but still auxiliary units--it was decided that heavy bomber squadrons were a good place to relegate some of these pioneering women. There was an early, misguided belief that American heavy bombers were 'invincible,' though this would quickly be proven wrong, especially for the 100th Bomb Group, which would come to be known as the "Bloody Hundredth."
Mildred Brady, better known to her friends as "Millie," was one of ten women assigned to the 100th and its 35 original crews when it flew from America to England in June 1943. Serving at Thorpe Abbots from the beginning until Black Week, she would survive nineteen missions before being shot down. From combating prejudice as she did her duty as a gunner and engineer to fighting to survive as a POW, she would find strength in friendship and a level of tenacity she did not know she possessed.

Karan Soni and Jonathan Groff to Lead Rom-Com Movie ‘A Nice Indian Boy’ [Exclusive]
Directed by Roshan Sethi, ‘A Nice Indian Boy,’ which will begin shooting later this month is a rom-com about changing traditional norms and pursuing a life of happiness
Deadpool star Karan Soni and Mindhunter star Jonathan Groff are all set to lead the gay rom-com movie, ‘A Nice Indian Boy’ for Scythia Films and Levantine Films.
The film will be directed by Roshan Sethi based on a script written by Eric Randall. ‘A Nice Indian Boy’ will begin filming on May 29, 2023, in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and will take just three weeks to officially wrap up on June 23, 2023.
‘A Nice Indian Boy’ is a contemporary tale about Indian marriage in the 21st century. The protagonist, Naveen Gavaskar (Karan Soni) is aware of his parents' expectations of him and his sister. They want them to profoundly respect their Hindi background, uphold all Hindi traditions, and, most significantly, exult in strictly Hindi marital ceremonies. This proves to be much more difficult for Naveen, who is openly gay in a culture where being gay can be tough. His parents want him to have a traditional Hindi wedding, but he worries he will never live up to their expectations. Naveen meets a white male, Jay (Jonathan Groff), whom he is attracted to and begins a relationship with. Despite his fear of introducing Jay to his parents, Naveen ultimately expresses his love for him and proposes in a dramatic fashion. The story is about changing traditional norms, having acceptance of who you are, and pursuing a life of happiness.
Tory Metzger is producing through Levantine Films, while Daniel Bekerman is producing on behalf of Scythia Film.
Karan Soni is known for starring as Dopinder in the Deadpool film. He will again reprise his role in the upcoming Deadpool 3 shooting at the end of this month. Karan is also giving voice to Spider-Man India in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which will release in theaters on June 2, 2023. Karan's acting credits include films such as Strange World, Trolls World Tour, Ghostbusters, Goosebumps, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, Office Christmas Party, and many more.
Jonathan Groff is an award-winning actor known for the Netflix series Mindhunter in which he portrayed Holden Ford and Frozen and Frozen II where he voiced Kristoff. He recently appeared in M. Night Shyamalan's Knock at the Cabin, Netflix series, Lost Ollie, and The Matrix Resurrections. He is also set to appear in a mysterious role in the upcoming season of Doctor Who. His acting credits also include Hamilton, Glee, Invincible, and many more.

LORE Dump: Things that are canon in the “Bride of the Destroyer” AU that aren’t in the Dragon Ball series
Pt. 2 Pt. 3
Note: This is gonna be a long one! Also, this isn't going to be in order. It's written down from what I remember and what's in the actual story so far. Some of the things mentioned here haven't been put in the story just yet, so please keep in mind that some things may change in the future.
——————————————————————————
Beerus is married (the most obvious one) and has step kids with my oc, Brier.
Deities are capable of summoning creatures known as "daemons" as Familiars to help aide in their duties via a legally binding contract. The only known groups of deities who are known to practice this are the twelve Titan families from Brier's planet, Gardenia, hers included. This is typically done through a summoning ceremony.
Beerus has father-in-law issues with Arum, the Titan King, head of the Plantae family, and one of Brier's fathers. His relationship with Arum's husband and Brier's stepfather, Typhon II, is rather decent in comparison.
According to Whis, Beerus has once claimed that his wife Brier's beauty puts Heles, his fellow G.O.D., to shame.
Goku likes reading Spider-Man comics after his son Goten introduced them to him. Meanwhile, Vegeta enjoys the Invincible comics: Trunks was not the one to introduce him to it since he's a bit too young to read the comics and watch the show.
Vegeta secretly listens to Lady Gaga when working out.
Android #17 is married to Elena Corazón: an original character that is used for other fandoms such as the Spider-Verse trilogy and Delicious in Dungeon.
Vegeta's mother's name is Eschalot, which is what he wanted to name Bulla when she was born as a way to honor his mother: this obviously didn't go the way he planned, so he and Bulma compromised on making it their daughter's middle name.
Piccolo likes drinking fruit infused water that is served at parties.
Frieza is bisexual and/or polyamorous. He also starts a situationship with Montsechia (Monty), who is another antagonist for the Bride of the Destroyer AU.
Bulma made Vegeta, Goku, and Chi-Chi watch the Twilight films for a date night once: Goku and Chi-Chi thought the films were ok while Vegeta thought they were stupid.
Beerus has terrible and ineligible penmanship.
Vegeta often tells Goku about Saiyan culture after training.
The Grand Priest is married: his wife, Rosanna, is an OC that belongs to @aisururozu.
Whis is pansexual.
Cooler is part of this AU.
Kuriza will be part of the story in the near future.
Goku often brings Chi-Chi little souvenirs from his adventures: he once brought her a bouquet of rare flowers that she keeps in vase.
Piccolo will date Pan's teacher Janet in the future. He is also asexual and demiromantic.
According to Arum, he has a tattoo somewhere on his body. But whenever someone tries to ask him about it, he simply tells them that simply even knowing of the tattoo’s existence is more than enough for them to know.

I've been in a big writing kick lately and have made a lot of progress on one WIP, but want to spread that around to some others too!
Here are my file names:
A Thief's Gamble
Tenets of Growth (Writing)
They're Only Children
The Secret History of the Invincible II
Before and After (precanon wkm verse)
My snippet is from A Thief's Gamble:
“You’re not still mad about that little misunderstanding with Tonilia, are you? I thought we’d cleared that up, I swear to you it wasn’t what you thought it–”
“It’s not that, Bryn.” Vekel leaned forward, resting his elbows on the bar and lowering his voice. “It’s– look, you know how Ton is. She’s independent, headstrong, tenacious, which are all things that make her good at what she does. And don’t get me wrong, I love that about her, but at times? It can make things difficult. The traits that can make someone a great thief…they don’t always make someone a great partner.”
Brynjolf took a bite of his meal, chewing slowly to give himself time to mull over his old friend’s words. He washed the pheasant down with another gulp of ale, then looked Vekel in the eye, a slight smirk pulling at the corners of his mouth.
“Are you telling me that you don’t think Tonilia’s worth the effort?” he asked.
Vekel let out a huff of breath that was somewhere between a laugh and a sigh.
“Very clever, Bryn,” he said. “You know damn well I think she is.” He straightened and turned, grabbing a broom that was leaning against the wall behind him. He looked back at Brynjolf and raised a single eyebrow. “I just wonder if you’ve asked yourself the same thing.”
Send me an ask and make me write!
If you do, I'll share the last sentence that I write in the reply <3
WIP Wednesday Game
It’s WIP Wednesday, time for a little accountability, sharing your work, and getting a kick in the pants.
Here’s how it works:
In a reblog of this post (so people can find you in the notes) or new thread (w/ rules attached) if you want to play on your own, post up to five (5) filenames of your WIPs; not titles, file names.
Post a snippet from one of them. Snippet must be words you wrote in the last 7 days. We’re posting progress here. If you haven’t made any, go make some and come back to play!
After you’ve posted, people can send you an ask with one of your file names. You must then write 3 sentences in that file. If the filename is one you can't share from (for example, an event or gift fic), write 3 sentences on it anyway, and then 3 more on another to share.
That’s it! You can invite others to join in, or just post. I’ll be searching the reblogs to find people to send asks to!
If you’re reading this, you’re invited!
If you see someone posting a WIP Wednesday Game snippet, send them an ask! Make them write.
Requested/Friend event mentions under the cut! If you'd like to be pinged next week, let me know!

Patron deity au. Someone has to work with Aizawa during a case and is just like "god this dude, who could even stand him in a personal relationship. He's so uptight (blah, blah, blah, etc, you get the idea)"
Aizawa, going home to his deity spouse and their 20+ kids and extreme amount of pets. "I haven't known peace in years and at this point I think I would hate it."
Oh yeah this would take place into the future of the verse and it'd be delightful:
Some rookie cop or young non-UA hero who recently relocated to Musutafu ends up working with Shouta on a case and absolutely does not know What's Up(TM).
And no one in the entire station plans on telling them. It's hands down funnier to watch them learn the truth on their own and they, to be frank, kind of deserve to be knocked down a few pegs.
(Because let's face it, by this point Ichigo is a well-known Musutafu cryptid and worship may or may not have spread out into the city itself thanks to the students. And although UA remains Ichigo's stronghold time finds him growing stronger and stronger as time passes. And Aizawa is Aizawa and thus is also a cryptid on his own.)
But this young non-Musutafu native just can't stand Aizawa/Eraserhead. He absolutely rubs this dude the wrong way.
Aizawa comes across as so straightlaced and fucking brutal when it comes to picking out flaws in plans. The only showboating he puts up with is when Mic is feeling dramatic and the only cowboying he doesn't immediately shut down is when Snipe is close by.
(Ichigo with all of his Ichigo-ness doesn't count in Shouta's eyes because there's some idiot hero or cop thinking they're invincible and then there's Ichigo. And those are very much two different situations. Besides, Shouta is a lot of things but the only time he's interested in fighting a literal force of nature is when Ichigo and him spar, mainly because he knows exactly how that's going to end.)
So when this baby-transplant finally figures out through pieced together overheard conversations that Aizawa is married??
Oh they are absolutely beside themselves. Who the fuck would marry that boring asshole? Dude has the energy and expression of a corpse.
Then, one day, after Aizawa has reamed them out for, once again, getting ahead of themselves on this case, they stomp out into the lobby of the station and immediately freeze.
Because the lobby is full of faces they recognize. There's Deku and Shouto standing huddled beside each other. Ground Zero and Creati are also there as well as Ingenium II and a few other faces they recognize. All members of the infamous 2-A, the UA class everyone says is going to absolutely destroy the hero rankings the moment they graduate. (There are even rumors that they're already messing with them and that Deku specifically has been ranking higher and higher each time despite not technically being eligible yet.)
But what really catches their attention is the man leaning against the wall. Dressed in an old fashion black yukata that's been left to gape open at the neck, arms folded across his chest, long vibrant orange hair pulled up into a high tail, and bright eyes watching over the gathered students, he's obviously a hero of some kind and he is, more importantly, absolutely gorgeous.
There's nothing on earth that could or would stop them from stepping forward and introducing themselves.
Not even the way the 2-A members seem to look between themselves, back at baby-transplant, and then towards the orange-haired man and immediately start snickering.
They slide up to the man's side, shoulders pulled back and chin tilted up proudly, and introduce themselves. Hero name first, of course.
"Hmm," the man hums, vibrant and kind of unsettling eyes cutting in their direction "you can call me, Kurosaki."
It's not the warm reception they were hoping for but it's better than nothing. They're willing to put in the work.
So they stand there chatting at Kurosaki for a bit before the door to the lobby swings open again.
They barely bite back a groan of irritation when Aizawa steps out into the lobby and heads towards the front desk but nothing stamps down the sneer that immediately crawls across their face.
"Someone you don't like?" Kurosaki abruptly asks, seemingly taking interest in the conversation for the first time.
"Just a complete asshole," they don't hesitate to throw Aizawa under the bus. "Some no-name Underground Hero who thinks he knows better than everyone else. If he was that good he'd be Limelight."
"Underground Heroes are important," Kurosaki points out mildly.
"Of course," they back peddle just a bit. "But that guy's just a cold fish. Doesn't have an ounce of the passion I do for anything as far as I've seen."
"Oh I bet," Kurosaki hums, mouth pulled up slightly at one corner.
Aizawa picks that moment to turn in their direction. He looks at the 2-A students first (who have all, for some reason, huddled together and now seem to be passing money between them) and then towards where they and Kurosaki are standing.
"Oh great," they huff as he starts in their direction. "Hopefully I can get rid of him fast and then, if you'd like, I'd love to take you out to talk some more?"
Aizawa's there before Kurosaki gets a chance to reply.
"Planning a date?" Aizawa asks, dead eyes staring into their face.
"What's it to you?" They snap back. "Pissed because you'll never get one?"
"Pretty sure my chances are better than yours," Aizawa states blandly, hands tucked into his pockets and shoulders slouched like always.
Aizawa turns towards Kurosaki then, ignoring the way they sputter.
"What'd you say?" Aizawa asks.
"Hmm," Kurosaki hums again. "Not sure my husband would like that, me going on a date with some stranger. Might not be worth it"
Disappointment immediately slides down their spine because of course Kurosaki, as gorgeous as he is, is married.
But at least this means they get to see Aizawa flame out too.
"Don't know about that," Aizawa unexpectedly says. "Bet I could convince you."
"Oh," Kurosaki murmurs, low and almost intimate, "you're welcome to try."
And then Aizawa takes a step forward to crowd into Kurosaki's space and they can only watch in some kind of horror as Aizawa kisses Kurosaki.
It's deep and intimate, absolutely not something meant to happen in the middle of a police station lobby.
It takes too long for the kiss to break even as the 2-A members hoot and holler just a bit in the background, something about "Sensei and Ichi-nii are at it again".
They're beginning to believe they might have missed something here.
"How was that?" Aizawa asks when he finally breaks the kiss, something unexpectedly smug in his expression. "Not bad for a cold fish huh?"
And that's the exact moment they realize Aizawa must have heard every single thing they've ever said about him behind his back.
"Well," Kurosaki says, face flushed and lips just a bit swollen, "guess there's a reason I married you after all huh?"
They don't bother to stick around after that. Instead, they turn tail and head out onto the street.
That was more than enough humiliation for one day for them.

Ok, so I was tagged by @isabel3710 and @stillebesat and this looks like a really fun idea, so let's go! As far as I can tell, these are all my files that contain a WIP of some kind (some of these have separate planning docs, which I didn't include on the list for brevity's sake):
A Thief's Gamble
Annabelle
BB2021 - Land Among the Stars
Before and After (precanon wkm verse)
Book Smarts
Dark Academia
HBC3
I Quit Adventuring
OOV9
Replicated Outline
Sanders Valley AU (answered here)
sdv fic idea sheet
SoC JW crossover
TAC Planning
Tenets of Growth (Writing)
The A.L.I.C.E. Institute
The Secret History of the Invincible II
The Twisted Ones
They're Only Children
UTSR - Logan's Assistant
You Don't Own Me RD
Some of you might recognize some of these titles, some of them might be a complete mystery, Some are for fanfic and some for original projects, so ask away, I'd love to gush about any and all of them!
I'm not going to tag over 20 people, so I'll just tag @tulipscomeinallsortsofcolors, @teacupfulofstarshine, @seiya-starsniper, @candied-peach, @foursideharmony, and whoever else would like to do it!
WIP Ask Game
I got tagged by @dp-marvel94 Thank you for tagging me!
RULES: post the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them, and then post a little snippet or tell them something about it! and then tag as many people as you have WIPs.
So, this might be a little unhinged but I don't have a WIP folder. I have a WIP document that I created back in middle school where I work all of my fanfiction ideas, drafts and planning in. And it's been a looong time since I've been in middle school. I never delete anything out of it. So, I'm just going to name the few WIPs that I know I've touched recently.

@hejdzz This is such a fantastic find! Thank you so much for sharing it!
I took the liberty of roughly translating the verses and adding some notes to explain the context for those who are not as familiar with Mme de La Rochejaquelein and her story.
The Squirrel
(Little Vendean Poem)
I
Her head in her hand, sadly leaning,
She contemplates in her soul a funeral thought,
And her lips sometimes stifle sobs (1).
The room, with whitened walls, is vast. A Christ of bone,
On the hearth and under a boxwood with withered leaves,
Bows his head, too, crowned with thorns.
The old bed, the armchair, the table and the prayer bench,
Everything is simple: at least great calm reigns in this place.
She is young, and yet how withered is her cheek!
Her tears have flowed too much: the source is dried up.
Their furrow has remained on her twenty-year-old features...
That she owes her life to obscure peasants,
One would think so, seeing her vulgar costume
But what does a costume prove in this dreadful war (2)?
She who is overwhelmed by so many woes at once,
Happy, she grew up in the palace of kings.
She who, without rest, through the battles,
Drags herself, miserable... she was born in Versailles!
A daughter of France held her at the baptism (3)!
Velvet, lace, silk, and brocade, and satin,
No longer adorn her beautiful body: her body wears rough wool!
Who would recognise you, oh widow of Lescure?
When the Saint of Poitou was laid in his coffin,
This abasement will witness your mourning.
II
A peasant woman enters and approaches her.
What, then, does the faithful servant hold in her fingers?
"Madame, look: what a charming animal!
And who is not wild! and does no harm!
At the threshold of a house deserted by the Blues(4),
This charming creature with a cunning look
Ran to our people, who, bringing it here, said:
It’s for the good lady!"
"Oh, brave hearts! thank you!"
She offers her knees to the light creature.
Grey and black, the robe indicates a strange creature.
By petting the squirrel found in Pontorson,
Her new mistress in the forests of Clisson
Lets her mind wander through an insensible flight;
In the forests where once, under the peaceful shade,
She often admired those slender animals
Frolicking, leaping from branch to branch,
And intoxicating themselves with free air on the highest peak!...
III
Someone knocks... Who is coming?... The generalissimo,
This young, this valiant, this proud Monsieur Henri.
A scarf suspends his bruised right arm (5):
He moves towards the dreamer, extending his left hand.
On his serious face, a smile begins to form,
And fades: the hero recoils in terror.
"Friend, what do you feel?"
"An invincible horror!"
"You are a child!" she tells him, surprised.
"Come closer... well!... touch her black and grey dress..."
He touches, but the fear in his eyes doubles.
Imposing a very serious tone in her voice:
"You, Henri! Whom everywhere is considered magnanimous,
How can you be so cowardly?!...
If one day I recount our successes, our setbacks,
The reverse of the brilliant golden coin will be known,
And the flaw hidden in the folds of the cuirass...
Ah! fie! you will cover your race with shame!
For our great-nephews (6) will say mockingly:
A squirrel made this great conqueror tremble!"
He is so kind! he enjoys seeing the poor widow
Lay down for a moment the burden of the trial:
Even if he dares not look at it without paling,
At least for this reason, he loves the squirrel.
Notes:
(1) This scene happens after the death of her first husband, the Marquis de Lescure.
(2) Mme de la Rochejaquelein was very active in the war, following her husband around, and used to dress in simple peasant clothes to do so.
(3) She was born in Versailles and was the goddaughter of one of Louis XVI’s aunts (I’m pretty sure it was Madame Victoire, but let me know if I misremembered)
(4) The Vandee army used to call the Republicans “Les Bleus” (the blues) because their uniforms were blue. Conversely, the royalists were "Les Blancs" (the whites) because white was the colour of the Bourbons, and they usually wore a white cockade.
(5) Henri was injured in the battle of Martigné. He was in a hollow path, giving orders, when he was shot in the hand. The bullet broke his thumb in three places and then hit his elbow. Reportedly, he didn’t even flinch and continued shooting.
(6) Mme de la Rochejaquelein ends up marrying Henri's little brother, Louis, after the war. So her progeny will end up being Herni's great nephews.
On a personal note, I absolutely love the relationship between these two. She clearly adored him as a friend , and he probably returned the sentiment because he was very considerate of her.
Public Service Announcement: Can someone please tell General Kleber that he will have infinitely fewer issues in the Vendee if he throws squirrels at La Rochejaquelein?
Yes... I'm knee-deep in Royalist/Catholic propaganda, reading the Memories of the Marquise de La Rochejaquelein (Mémoires de Mme la marquise de La Rochejaquelein écrits par elle-même). Every book I've seen about the war in the Vendée references it, so I reckoned I should probably read it myself. It's quite interesting but obviously biased. She gives a pretty detailed and sympathetic perspective of the Vendéean side.
This is a true story. Apparently, Henri de La Rochejaquelein (baby generalissimo extraordinaire who, antiquated views aside, seems like a pretty cool guy and is very good at his job for a 21-year-old) had an irrational fear of squirrels. Yes. Squirrels.
Now I have this entire alternate reality headcanon of the CPS back in Paris training squirrels to send to the Army of the West....

current VERSES used on this blog.
note: contains spoilers for both parts of iswm. for those who have not yet watched iswm in its entirety, hare exists throughout the multiverse of actor mark's stories, && can interact with your muse at any point within them.
🐇 001 — BILLIONS OF STORIES
primary verse — open to all
this is the 'verse used for any && all events that take place before the universe reset at the end of iswm part one. hare is at their most true-to-canon here, wandering from story to story — whether that's date, heist, the first half of space, or any other markiplier ego content. most interactions will occur here simply because this is where they are most accessible.
🐇 002 — COLONY / STAY BRIGHT
secondary verse — open to some
this is the 'verse that covers the events after the universe reset in iswm part one. within this universe, hare struggles through the events of iswm part two, leading them to stumble into what they could almost consider a finale for themself. in my interpretation, the instability created by the universe reset loosened the chokehold actor mark had on not only hare, but the pocket universe that they currently existed in (the story that is in space with markiplier). i will elaborate more on this in the future, but the bottom line is that this pocket universe now exists on its own, allowing hare to be free of actor's control. they are now with the head engineer, the crew of invincible ii, && the colonists, on the new planet. only those who could reasonably access these times && locations can play in this universe, naturally.
🐇 003 — REWRITE THE REGRETS
tertiary verse — upon request / situational
this is an alternate universe, changing the ending of iswm part one (and quite a lot more). it deserves its own meta post to explain what in the world i mean, but for now: rather than the universe reset leaving hare to wander searching for a way to handle the warp core && free the head engineer from his torment, the universe reset completely, placing hare in the position to put an end to all of this before it even began. it put them at a position to strike at this story's very root, before those roots even took hold. hare keeps actor's pen from even hitting the page, preventing the events of who killed markiplier? on the whole.
🐇 004 — UNIVERSE UNSPOOLED
tertiary verse — closed
this is an alternative universe, changing the ending of iswm part one (and avoiding the events of iswm part two). this universe is currently a big wip but it is similar to 003 in that the universe reset sends hare somewhere other than spiraling through the events of iswm part two — instead, they find themselves encountering a being that has been looking for them for a very, very long time.
🐇 005 — A WAY TO CHANGE (THE CAPTAIN'S VERSE)
tertiary verse — upon request / situational
this is a highly experimental, canon divergent verse wherein the events of iswm part one change hare for the worst. in this verse, the stresses of the events of iswm part one prove too much for hare to bear. they endeavor to prove to the head engineer that, no — they are not stupid. but maybe they could be a bit of the other thing.
this is not hare, and they will not answer to that name. they answer to CAPTAIN. you can read more about them here.

A Superhero AU for everyone you'd like to do?
Superhero/Marvel/DC verse except a lot of my characters aren’t heroes lol
This is just some of my characters. I might add more later.
Adam Kane - Mostly, Adam is just some punk. Left to his own devices, he’s more likely to get in trouble for petty theft or graffiti. He is more interested in making a statement with art but does not always have the means. He will occasional get involved in more major crimes to make a bit of money. Adam’s used to being asked to commit arsons, as he’s only be caught once.
Brigid Campus – Still a Dullahan. She goes by The Green Knight and wears a costume that looks to be styled after a knight’s armor with a dark green cape. Similar to Ghost Rider, except her motorcycle is a spectral horse, and rather than her head being a skull on fire, it can roll off. She is a street level fighter, defending those who are about to die from their would-be attackers. She uses her natural draw to those about to perish to find those in danger. She has never tried to use her ability to kill with a name on anyone dying, however. During the day, she is currently a graduate assistant at a college while working on her masters.
Catrina Calavera – She runs a crime ring, that mostly deals in procuring outlaws goods for those willing to pay for the item, service, and the lack of paper trail. Only certain items are allowed for her services. She uses the money to support those less fortunate and sends aid back to her hometown. Her oldest two children help run the ring, but her youngest is still in school and is unaware.
Conquest - He is essentially a mob boss, but the kind that secretly run the government. Mostly for his own gain—whether that is good for others or not.
Dahlia Powell – She tries not to get involved. She really does. But sometimes, she can’t stop herself. She has no superhero identity or costume, but if someone is in danger, she will naturally try to save that person with her magic.
Marius Valerius – He would be a blend of Ares and Superman. Probably goes by the name Mars, he tries to be the people’s champion. He would have superstrength, metal bending/weapon creation abilities, invincibility. His costume would be Roman based most likely. He does have a temper that he needs to keep in check.
Maryah – Retired superhero. She used to be fairly prominent, working with another female superhero. However, after a serious accident, her partner has never been seen again and she has retired. She is similar to Hawkgirl with wings, but she used a variety of weapons and has some minor ice abilities. She can no longer use her wings to fly.
Nicolas Flamel II – Some how he is a very popular hero with his partner Silas. They are similar to Apollo and Midnighter stylistically. Ability wise, he is a magic user though he is not the best.
Kami – She is neither a hero nor villain. She is a vicus-goddess who uses her magic to create a safe block for female citizens within her city. Somehow, men are never seen visiting the place, though there are rumors that many men have gone missing in that area.
