Fun fact: The Malaysian dubbing studio Speedy Video was a video retail store which makes sense that mostly their voice actors are mostly just employees of the store but sadly, I've found out that all of their stores closed down in 2021 according to the Audiovisual Identity Database but the store is mostly an online store that still sells DVDs, blu-rays, VCDs and CDs! They mostly dub anime like Dragon Ball Z, Doraemon also they dubbed live action shows like the Ultraman series, Kamen Rider Black RX and more! Their dubs are hilariously bad especially their dubs of the Dragon Ball Z movies which is the only ones they dubbed sadly not the TV series

Favourite movie.. Bingung juga nih milihnya. Waktu SD sih suka banget sama Toys Story 1 & 2. Rewatch juga udah brp kali, dibeliin vcd bajakan gitu dulu hahaha. Saking ngefans nya pengen beli boneka woody beneran, tapi gatau nyari dimana dan kalopun ada yg ori pasti mahal banget :')

Beranjak remaja, karena wkt SMP ngikutin bgt buku Harry Potter sampe lengkap koleksi buku ku 1-7. Filmnya pun kutungguin, inipun rewatch brp kali apalagi Harry Potter ke 2 the Chamber of Secret. Berhubung baca buku duluan baru film muncul suka ada rasa ketidakpuasan, karena kalo baca buku detail bgt dan panjang tapi kalo film di singkat gitu kan banyak part yang dihilangkan karena gamungkin diceritain semua dong nanti 2 jam ngga cukup. Terkadang aku lebih memilih membaca bukunya karena lebih berimajinasi dan terasa dekat. Tapi sampe ending nya pun filmnya tetep aku tungguin, harus bgt nonton di bioskop!

Beberapa tahun ini karena berlangganan Netflix makin beragam tuh tontonannya termasuk buat anak. Entah kenapa waktu milihin film buat anak wkt umur 2,5 thn dia jarang bgt anteng nonton berlama lama kan karena masih kecil bnyk distraksi. Kupilih lah film dr Studio Ghibli, My Neighbour Totoro.. Surprisingly anteng bgt selama nonton, trus suka bgt dia sampe diulang 2423537289373829x alias sering bgt. Lanjut Ponyo.. Suka jg. Daaaan aku jadi keterusan nonton film Studio Ghibli lainnya, dari sekian banyak baru 10 film, 2 film belom selesei.. Filmnya bagus-bagus, genre nya beda2nya.. Ada fantasi, slice of life, romance. Ngga ada yang gagal selalu berkesan dan heartwarming.. Kalo anakku baru 2 aja nih favouritnya Totoro dan Ponyo, ibunya udah lebih dari 10 hahaha. Sukaaa bgt nanti lanjut lagi ah per-Ghibli-an nya..

Imagine if Toonkind Yuu gets themself a journal that they then proceed to draw their little studio family. Like, if they know that Larry is a shadow they would put his true appearance on a different page to help keep his secret, well, a secret, and then just, not tell anyone that these are the actual appearances of the studio family. Just, let's them think they based the obvious toons off of them. Even sketches out what they think the studio family would look like as Reelkind to cover their tracks. Probably as a long, long term prank.

Also yeah, Yuu would definitely be unphased by every that happens in NRC and not let Crowley to force them to do what he wants they already have a bird dad and he's superior to Crowley! Also, the idea of Yuu initially thinking Grim was Toonkind before realizing otherwise is a good point. After all, they've seen weirder. Also the fact that they try and keep the more, upsetting, incidents a secret also makes sense. After all, it could even be accidental! Just, they don't really talk about it outside of therapy to avoid trauma flashbacks, so they never think to bring it up.

Also I imagine Vil would totally ask Yuu to make the background for the VCD because he knows they are a professional prop maker. Also, just, imagine them talking in movie terms confusing everyone that doesn't know those terms, simply because they have another movie person to talk to and just, they enjoy talking movies together.

Being objective: for anyone discovering VLC, it's a great multi-purpose player. But for old users: v3 is not still on a par with v2.2.8!:-o I'm essentially having issues with my TV provider streams: - subtitles: way too big even with 'Smaller' selected in the menu (ok, this was not much better in 2.2.8 as the menu options weren't working at all, but at least the subtitles had the right size. Since updating to MAC OS Mojave VLC media player has stop loading and always crashes/fails to load. I have tried repeated times to delete the app and reinstall, I have followed suggestion from the VLC team to flush the OS of residual files that could be causing issues but I'm having no success. The closest I have gotten is by accessing the apps Package Content/MacOS/VLC(Unix executable) through terminal which would sometimes load the file but then crash before loading. File type and/or codex doesn't seem to be the issue or solution and other media players will play all the files that I have attempted run with VLC. Now and then usually after a OS Restart, the OS will run a Verification on the VLC app after attempting to load the program but it seem to run the verification, disappear and then do nothing. Any one else having similar issues or can suggest a fix? Thanks for your guys time

I downloaded MPEG Streamclip for video editing and do not wish to uninstall it. But now it is the default application for .wmv files. I already went through other options to change the default video player to VLC but when I try to do it this message is what returns:

'The item is either locked or damaged, or in a folder you don’t have permission to modify (error code -61).'

This file is a DVD for an online class and would prefer not to constantly go back to the DVD folder in Finder and 'Open With' VLC. I read some tips about resetting some files but they were for Leopard and Tiger.

I am currently running OS X version 10.9.2. Thank you in advance.

No more letterboxing for me!

By late this year when the Animaniacs revival releases on DVD & probably on Blu-ray, I can say goodbye to 4:3 letterboxed video because I’ll replacing it with 16:9 widescreen video (1.78:1) in 480i for interlaced video & 480p & high-definition video both in 720p & 1080p. I can also say goodbye to 4:3 standard-definition television aka SDTV this month or next month because all the animated shows in 16:9 aspect ratio were letterboxed, even Regular Show reruns on Boomerang until one year ago. The Animaniacs theatrical short I’m Mad was aired on TV in a letterbox format rather than a 4:3 full screen format in 2nd season of the show, on Animaniacs Volume 3 DVD back in 2007 & on Animaniacs: The Complete Series DVD box set two years ago. Next month, I will replace it with 16:9 standard-definition television & high-definition television aka HDTV respectively because all the animated shows nowadays have 16:9 aspect ratio, the 4:3 ones are now pillarboxed. What is windowboxing for 16:9 televisions? According to Wikipedia, Windowboxing occurs when an image appears centered in a television screen, with blank space on all four sides of the image, such as when a widescreen image that has been previously letterboxed to fit 1.33:1 is then pillarboxed to fit 16:9. It is also called “matchbox”, “gutterbox”, & “postage stamp” display. By next month, my 4:3 SDTV days will be over. LaserDisc was a dying format, that I can’t add. In my country, Video CDs aka VCDs nowadays have letterboxed video for animated movies downscaled to 240p which most NTSC VCDs used that quality & didn’t have interlaced video. I will know the date for my future projects at Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank, California this year after I make animated student films in Los Angeles & not in Limay, Bataan because analog television in my country didn’t stop until 2023, everybody knows in the US that they do & don’t like letterboxed video on 4:3 DVDs. Until next month, 480p is now the only video quality I used. However, the video qualities I rarely use are 720p & 1080p. Until late this year, DVD is now the only video format that I used. By the way, I don’t watch 4:3 letterboxed versions of 2010s Cartoon Network shows on TV such as Adventure Time & Regular Show which J. G. Quintel worked on in 2009. I don’t like windowboxed video ether.
