Finished (??) this today. A piece I've been slowly revising over the last few days. I can't draw hands, and I have just as much trouble painting them.

Little personal cathartic piece. Better to do a bad paint job on some goat horns than kill yourself because the only person who's ever made you feel like you're a real person left you, just like everyone else.

Now off to, like, run a bunch so I can't think, even though I already did a 4-5 mile hike this morning 👍

as all our vc's seem to do, the conversation turned to decade and my current ultraman hyperfix meant that my brain came up with the genius (???) idea of daiki getting ultraman powers via o-50. this is how I imagined he'd look

his main attacks are diend bullet and diend final attack beam and he has the ability to make copies of himself, short range teleportation, and invisibility. can he summon ultraman copies? probably but he'll have to find the gimmick item for it first

god damn at this rate i feel like im starting to just become a fucked up scientist

I've changed all my current degreasing containers from just dawn and water to an ammonia/water solution to hopefully keep it going consistently and minimize grave wax. i dont have a good setup to allow a heater to keep them warm so the water gets cold quick.

now onto whitening, of the skulls im trying i have 3 coated in a baking soda/hydrogen peroxide layer and seran wrapped. ive been sitting them out into direct sun the past few days but its still not quite as strong as id like in the winter. i have like 3-4 skulls to whiten, but 2 of them need to be washed some more

i def dont wanna soak them in hydrogen peroxide bc thatd take a lot to submerge them. but the weather just isnt great for sun exposure rn tbh. now im thinking like, okay if i coated and wrapped them, could i put them under their own (subdued) heat lamp? uv lamp? like for reptiles? and just kinda speedrun the process?
