"Today's rock of the day is Breccia! It's lumpy, and it's hard to bite into! And looks like it's made of many other rocks, actually." She's still doing this 'science', mainly because it's fun. Who else would go out of their way to actually taste a rock? "Aaaaand it tastes liiike..." She licks the rock and sticks her tongue out, "mostly bleh, but it tastes like iron? Still bleh." Narvi was not a fan.

Narvi sat there waiting to hear what she was going to rate the rock. But was given a long, elaborate explanation as to what this rock had been up to for so long. Though it seemed like she understood exactly what they were going on about too.

"So that's how it became this mass of multiple rocks in a lump!" And that's how she was explaining what she was just told. "I agree, it's kind of bleh and not very edible. Biting it even hurts. Pumice was better for eating than that one… even had a nice crunch."

"I would enjoy trying to enjoy that," Loki said cryptically, licking the rock like a certain time-traveling alien of Earth-5556 might. "Hmm." She thought for a moment. "Hmm. A dead sun, one whose name has long been forgotten, forging silicon and then, with its last gasps of stellar breath, iron. Accreting from singular atoms to chunks on a long, long journey, chunks that rained down on an infant world in an age of fire, melting and dispersing and reforming time and time again into new rocks, new stories. Crushed underfoot by massive beasts. Thrown in fights of gods and mortals. Pulverized, smashed together, melted by the ever-changing skin of your world, and again anew. If it had been conscious, it would have seen artisans pass it over for something more diverse and less granulated, it would have seen its bretheren dissolve into silt. But, of course, it's a rock, and these ones aren't sentient. I give it a...two of ten. Poor for eating."

"Look what I found!" It was a shiny golden mineral that she was going to bite into-- once again.

"A very good question! They're not made of diamonds! Maybe I'm just lucky! I have no idea what this rock is, though. It's shiny, it's gold. I like it."

"Today's rock is andesite. And it's a boring flavor... It's like licking nothing, actually. Tastes like bleh? If bleh wasn't the same bleh as leaf water. It's not as fun to munch on as pumice." She was sure she might have cracked a tooth on this one.
