      From the moment Umberto had stepped off the ship and onto the bustling streets of London the young assassin had been overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the city and the number of souls that called it home. He could spend days traversing its streets trying to commit landmarks and layouts to memory. But, right now, it was straight to work for Umberto. Despite the city having been freed from the clutches of the Templar order there was still plenty to be done in London. And it was for this reason that Umberto’s mentor had sent him here with the chance of redemption.

      Umberto pulled away from the main street to take refuge in the nearby underpass from the growing deluge. He leaned against the brick wall, arms crossed over his chest and an ear to the street in the hopes of learning something while he took shelter from the rain. The London cold and wet was not something he was particular fond of. He’d already been forced to become acquainted with it during his first matter of business since arriving in London, locating one of the Frye Twins.

      He had spent a good portion of the day in his search though, as time went on, he increasingly began to suspect it more likely that the twins would find him before he did them. Locating targets had never been one of his strongest skills. In truth, his larger toned frame was better adept for combat than prowling the streets unseen. And, after all, it was only a matter of time before someone reported in about a stranger from across the pond asking around for the leaders of the Rooks.
