As if seeing a naked man bothered her even a bit... "You do know you don't have to cover up when I'm around. I've seen it all, many times." There was a roll of her eyes. Being the Fourth seat of the Eleventh, she had little paperwork to do, but she did offer to help deliver it when she wasn't busy helping train the subordinates.

"I, uh, can't find your captain and brought a heap of shit the 11th dealt with lately... as well as an expense report, I guess." Taking one quick look, she wondered what the hell happened to him, "aaand what's up with the blood? Anyone's head I gotta bust?"

"Something like that! Takes a big wind up. But really, I never got the hang of Shunpo at the academy… nor did I really get the hang of Kido until dad started showing me a few things." She was slightly resistant to learning Kido because she knew what Squad she wanted to be on at the time.

"A better answer; I never got good at it, so I just tank my hits and return damage. But I know the downside to that too. I'm not immortal, the hits take a toll and my dodge game is weak."

A smile and a golf clap were offered. "Well, well. Your head's on straighter than most of your peers have theirs." Yoruichi's hands went to her hips and she seemed to subtly stretch her back this way and that. "Let's return to that other matter then. You're slow because you hit hard, you said?"

"I've been trained by my old man!" That and she had learned from the 11th and changed up her fighting style several times. Though she wasn't going to admit to him how dirty she could fight.

There was a smile on her face, not the usual bloodthirsty one, before pointing a thumb at the smelting furnace she had cobbled together herself. "Never get bored trying to make something new. Can't make anything like a Zanpakuto, but I've made ornamental pieces before!" They were mostly knives and sometimes decorative swords.

She thought to herself for a moment, "what do you do instead of idling about, gotta have some kind of hobby…"

Lyn grumbled once the bandage hit her head. She wanted to grab Renji and shake him a bit. Wound care was serious business.

"Geeze you know you're supposed to change them before they start sticking to the wound and pull the healing stuff off?"

In her hands were new bandages and some salve to help heal them. If she were even half decent at Kaido she'd actually try using it on him, but the last time she tried she actually hurt her adopted father. It... might not be for her.

When it came to taking care of herself... "I've done it before. Several times… I'm only your fourth seat, but I've been here since the 9th and 10th Kenpachis. Handling myself is... well yeah, par for the course, I can handle me..." So she had experience with the 11th, quite a long time. But there were others who survived who also had been with the 11th for longer.

"But, I'm gonna ask that you…" She would go silent for a moment, thinking, "let me go with you. I wanna bring someone back too. I'm not getting in your way, I wouldn't mind busting in with you to help get who we want out. You have Unohana… and I have my oton." Her adoptive father, that she would love to pull him back out of hell. Him dying was so… it felt so wrong. "Captain commander… Oyaji might, there's a possibility he would also come."

"i'm going to hell to find captain unohana and i will save her. the gates to hell are forbidden to be opened here so I'll find another way to get into hell. shinigamis aren't supposed to meddle in hell's affairs, but i have matters to attend."

He was right, she could very easily trick someone into thinking she was helpless when she knew how to throw punches and wield a sword rather well. Lyn was good at defending herself, less… good at following social anything. Anyone who tried to be formal with her, she'd tell them to just use her first name and not bother with the pleasantries.

"Yeah, gotta just use my head sometimes… I'll keep training, but I don't like it when they call me Lady. I get it's a formal title and all. But it wasn't earned!" She needed to figure out how to not be rough when trying to correct others. Last time she corrected someone, she knocked them out flat on their back.

"Nah, but I feel like with the lack of anyone from the 4th here it'd just be a little bit of a setback depending on how bad it is." She leaned an arm back enough to rest her elbow on the tsuba of her sword. "Need a hand?" This woman had a habit of taking hits as well, but that's due to her lack of shunpo usage. She'll take hits, but deal them back out and harder.

As if Lyn minded working with anyone who was a loose cannon or a wild gun. That didn't bother her a damn bit as long as she was allowed to do the same… even if the back of her head was telling her that maybe it wasn't such a great idea. But that was the voice of someone else talking to her, not even her Zanpakuto spirit.

She watched his hand poke the hole where he had been stabbed, "Arrancar got you in the chest." Though she really felt like she didn't have to tell him that.

Lyn had found a warm place to crash under a tree after training for so long. The young woman wore herself out, working so hard to improve on what she learned at the academy. The sun shining on her was so warm, and it took no time for her to start dozing off.

She was rather easy to pick up off the ground, and limp enough, she dropped her wooden training sword when picked up. Mumbling, she did feel herself being moved, and she opened her eyes a bit. "The sun was nice and warm; I thought I could use a short break." She realized who it was by the hair and haori; no problem. Wrapping her arms around the man, Lyn would hold on as she was carried off to bed.

Sleepily, she'd ask, "What's for dinner, dad?" Her stomach coming second to this upcoming nap.

It was late, and she did know this captain was sickly. She was just the type to keep working until the oil ran out.

"Eluding you because you're thinking of something, or?" She looked up at the sky for a moment, taking in the sight of the stars, before sitting down on the ground. The woman didn't need to be back at the barracks at a certain hour, so she had time to waste, and it wasn't like she was tired.

The woman was a brute, but a minute to sit with tea and chat with a captain wasn't bad. If she had sake or something else, it'd be better, but she didn't carry that on her. "Surprised one of them didn't follow you out, but hey, yeah, I'll take some tea. You can just call me Lyn, formalities aren't my thing."

         "Ah, miss...Okinaha, yes?" She was from the 11th Division, if he recalled correctly; unfortunately, not one he'd had much, if any, interaction with personally. But there was no time like the present to fix that! A surprised stare becomes a gentle smile in an instant. "I'm afraid sleep eludes me at the moment. I won't be long; I imagine Kiyone and Sentaro wouldn't stand for it. But, in the meantime..." He gestures to the pot of tea sat beside him. "There's plenty here if you'd like to join me. A cup of tea beneath the night sky can be quite relaxing."

         He wasn't exactly expecting acceptance to such an offer. He'd never known anyone from Zaraki's division to relax with a cup of tea. But what was there to lose by extending an invitation?

There was a roll of her eyes, a slight shrug of her shoulders and a tilt of her head before letting out a huff, "Is it lying if it doesn't hurt all that much?" The wound was large, but not deep on her back, it looked like a hollow got her as she was turning… but the hollow was gone now.

She stretched a bit after the bandages were on to make sure they'd hold. "Thanks for the help, Nanao." It wasn't like she could get that spot on her back without help. "You heading back to the First? Tell Oyaji I said hi. I need to go visit him sometime..."

Unfortunately those in other squads, unless they already knew each other really hung out. Though it genuinely didn't feel like that ages ago. What changed?

"But yes it's my birthday. I keep better track of grudges and other things than my own age." Though she was well over 250 getting close to three hundred at this point.

"Such a cocky attitude, you remind me of myself before I lost my vision." He said as he pulled out a cigarette, lighting it with the small lighter that he had brought back from one of his missions. "And I heard that a headstrong brat was celebrating her birthday. Rangiku is telling me that I need to be more social, get out of the office more often."

who wants to have children ? who doesn’t ? if both do, how do their goals differentiate ? (That's a GOOD VERY GOOD question.) While Lyn is a very good protector and… scarily so, she doesn't really want to have a kid of her own. She's very good at protecting those she cares about/for. But uh… She wouldn't be the one to want kids… I'm not sure either of them would want to create a soul together.

who is more adverse to physical contact ? (Neither? Maybe Tessai? But I'm still leaning HARD on neither being adverse)

who hates/dislikes their neighbors the most ? Neither???

who hates/dislikes their significant other’s family ? (…Neither? It's illegal to hate OR dislike Jushiro. Lyn doesn't hate or dislike the others that are in Tessai's circle, she just takes a bit to get used to them!)

who is most likely to leave when things get rough ? leave? Like the whole relationship? Lyn's gonna stick and try to work things out and I think he'd be the same way? I feel like that might be Jushiro's influence on her life there. Something about mediating a situation if it's bad enough. But I don't think it'd get to that kind of rough. Buuut that's my belief there.

who thinks their partner turned out a different person than they thought ? Tessai? Lyn? They're still figuring each other out right now and this one might be the one that it's a bit to early to tell!

who is more likely to cheat ? (Lyn's pretty good with open relationships and if he understands then I don't think either of will cheat as long as it's known.)

who is the more experienced ( sexually or otherwise ) ? Fighting? Tessai's older and has Kido… and Lyn's still learning Kido and is good in Hakuda… But he's better than her in both. Fighting goes to Tessai there. Ah sexually… That's a good one, Lyn's kind of experienced? I'm not too sure about Tessai or have unfortunately forgotten. :C

who hates/dislikes their significant other’s friends ? UUUUHHH this one is too early to tell but this one might just be a 'getting used to them' thing?

who wants to go to social gatherings the most ? Lyn's more of a family person? Like she'll do things with people she knows more… So maybe leaning Tessai here?

who is most likely to be dishonest ? Depending on the situation and if she wants to cover up some part of her past: Lyn. Tessai seems more honest… I feel like he'd be hard to beat at poker too…

who is more emotionally closed off and how does this affect their partner ? (This one's hard because at the start of the relationship Lyn would be closed off due to how she IS. Family gets to see how she really is… everyone else gets a facade. But that fades at least as that relationship goes so I wanna go with Lyn here…? And it might be off putting a bit? It's a trust thing for her but he's already worked some of that loose and she is trusting him with those feelings.)
