1. favorite song at the moment:

This changes on a dime, basically every few minutes. I’ll loop a song for a while, before moving on to the next. It’s currently a tie between All the Boys by Panic! At The Disco (surprisingly catchy, and it makes me think of my little brat Pinocchio Gray) and Whatever It Takes by Imagine Dragons (mainly because it makes me think of my boy Alex Summers/Havok from the X-Men movies)

2. a song you associate with your favorite ship:

Well, let’s see..

For Pinocchwick (come on you knew this was coming) Still Into You by Paramore. TELL ME I’M WRONG. (I should be over all the butterflies/But I’m into you, I’m into you/And baby, even on our worst nights/I’m into you, I’m into you/Let ‘em wonder how we got this far/‘Cuz I don’t really need to wonder at all/‘Cuz after all this time I’m still into you)

For ScarletVision, I listened to Higher Power by Coldplay recently on the radio and I thought OH MY GOD THIS WORKS SO WELL. Also, not sure if it counts, but I was watching an analysis video of the Kitchen Scene from Days of Future Past, and the dude claimed that Time in a Bottle could be seen as a Cherik song and ever since that day that take has lived in my mind rent free. Bit strange, I admit, but it’s interesting (albeit in an angsty way) to think about

Seventeen from Heathers. Especially poignant when I actually was 17 years old.

4. a song you think is overrated:

If I’m being real, I honestly don’t feel this way about a lot of songs. The WORST I can feel towards one is just meh. But if I had to choose, I’d probably say Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift. I just think it’s okay. And some lines kind of make me cringe a bit. I’d listen to it again, but not religiously.

5. a song that reminds you of a good memory:

HOO BOY I HAVE A LOT OF THESE. But to stick with the instructions (as a lot of memories I have are attached to entire soundtracks), one particular song is You’ll Be Back from Hamilton, which I performed at my middle school talent show, complete with a cheap plastic crown, cape and scepter. This was when Hamilton was at its PEAK. So not only was my performance well received, the audience even joined in for the last part! Best day ever.

6. the last song you listened to:

Heart Attack by Demi Lovato. Pretty nostalgic for me, I forgot how much it slaps.

7. a song that makes you laugh:

@64space wrote a song about how much we hate school. I like to call it “Lost One’s Weeping but less poetic.” Our band still practices to it. It’s a good (and hilarious) warmup!

*slams table* LISTEN TO WHITE WHALE BY RUCKER! I FOUND OUT ABOUT IT WHEN I RANDOMLY POPPED IN A STREAM AND THEN I CHECKED IT OUT AND MY LIFE WAS CHANGED FOREVER! LOOK IT UP IT’S SO AWESOME!
