How do you feel about Pokémon Black/White taking place in a region based on New York (considering that you live in New York)? I think it’s a good setting considering the game’s theme of (ideological) diversity, truth vs. ideals, etc.

I actually started getting into Pokémon around gens 5 and 6 so to me Unova and Kalos are the Pokémon regions I think of when I think of the Pokémon.

I think it's really cool. The theme of diversity fits really well, and explores an aspect of the city that most media doesn't. It's probably some of the best representation we have in mainstream gaming, considering how much of American media demonizes us for some pretty reactionary reasons.

I accidentally merged the lineart and colour while drawing this lmao. My only saving grace is that I was pretty much done colouring and shade with layers

Eelektross is such a weird favourite of mine considering I hate leeches and lamprey, yet I love him regardless. I think part of it is that it's a pokemon I figured out evolved with a thunderstone all on my own as a kid. As for why I had an Eelektrik in my party when I hated leeches and it wasn't the kind of pokemon I'd typically like? Idk, kept it in a party on a whim I guess. I don't understand young me's thought proceses.

(I do like Eelektross on its own but I also do also enjoy seeing all the content of him and Emmet too lol)

Wow, it's been a while! Lot's of life stuff has happened, so forgive me for that! But finally! 'Mon #0! I know not everyone is from my specific Unova, so I would be honored if anyone want to share any encounters or stories with any 'mon I post! All other 'mons I draw will probably be sketchier (less color) because the colors took me some time to get right and there were like. Three of them.
