Recently saw this film with my partner & thinking about it pretty consistently. Definitely not a film for everyone but, if you like campy Faustian Bargain stuff that inspired the BESERK ECLIPSE HELM, check out Phantom of the Paradise.

Also the incredibly talented Paul Williams, as in a major composer for the Muppets, basically plays himself as an evil devil-may-care super celebrity recluse. What's not to love?

You're telling me the ''don't watch'' thing started here?#Obviously not for the faint of heart because. A dude's face is partially burned off & there's also the prison industry.#But aside from that & the other facemelting scene at the very end. Mostly a chill film.#Unless you count the psychological torment. Beef is there too. I love Beef.#I know we're supposed to dislike Beef or something but he fucked like hell.
