Also known as Aegon the Elder and Aegon the Usurper, he was the secondborn child and firstborn son of King Viserys I and Queen Alicent Hightower. Aegon never had any interest in the crown, and his days were full of drinking, whoring and gambling. 

  He was betrothed to his sister, Helaena, ever since they were children. Aegon was heavily against the marriage and never bonded with her, nor their children; Jaehaerys, Jaehaera and Maelor Targaryen (nor did he bond with his bastard children). 

 Although a bit of a drunk, he did bond with the beautiful mount, Sunfyre, a golden dragon that was said to be the most dazzling that had ever lived. Crowds would gather to see the dragon fly by, as his scales glinted in the sunlight. 

 Straight after Viserys died, the crowning of Aegon happened quickly. Ser Criston Cole, the Lord Commander of the King’s Guard, crowned Aegon II with the Conquorer’s crown. 

   Aegon II didn’t have a good relationship with his father; barely interacting with him, Viserys’ attention was mainly on Rhaenyra, the small council and his creation in his chambers. And as his disease developed over time, Viserys wasn’t a very good father figure. Blame it on his health, or the fact that he didn’t put the energy into parenting. Either way, Viserys had little to do with his and Alicent’s offspring. 

  However traumatising Aegon’s upbringing is, it doesn’t excuse his behaviour. His actions towards women were terrible and it is not known how many bastard children he truly had, as he raped many women.

   Born on Dragonmount, he was bonded to Aegon II, the son of Queen Alicent and King Viserys. Aegon, who was the mount’s only rider, based his sigil on Sunfyre; the glistening golden three-headed dragon. He was crowned King when his father died, although his father had not named Aegon heir. 

   Known as the most brilliant-looking dragon in all of Westeros, Sunfyre had scales that glinted in the sunlight. He had pink detailing, as well as pink wings. In size, he was bigger than Tessarion but smaller than Syrax. Even though he was young, he still proved to be a formidable foe. According to Archmaester Gyldayn, Sunfyre was the most beautiful dragon ever seen in the known world.

   Sunfyre was a fourth-generation dragon, along with Arrax, Moondancer, Seasmoke, Tessarion, Tyraxes and Vermax. 

   Similar to his rider in many ways, Sunfyre loved being paraded around, receiving awes from those below. The golden mount loved being doted upon and complemented.

One of the oldest Houses, the Velaryons survived the Doom and established themselves in the New World.

The first Velaryon mentioned was Lady Valaena Velaryon. The mother of Aegon the Conquorer and his sister-wives; Visenya and Rhaenys. She had been married to Lord Aerion Targaryen, and moved with her family to inhabit Dragonstone when they fled the Doom.

House Velaryon was of Valyrian descent, and inherited such features. They include silver-gold or white hair as well as purple, violet, blue, grey or green eyes.

For a time, not only did House Velaryon have power over the seas, but also in the sky. They were once dragonriders. The marriage between Rhaenys and Corlys produced two children that bonded with dragons; Laena rode Vhagar, and Laenor with Seasmoke.

House Velaryon's ancestoral seat was Driftmark, the largest island of Blackwater Bay in the crownlands. Their castles include Driftmark and High Tide. The head of House Velaryon is titled Lord of the Tides and Master of Driftmark.

It was traditional for the sons of House Velaryon to experience a seafarer's life when young. This created a love for the sea for Velaryon members.

The Velaryons were the oldest and closest allies of the Targaryens for centuries. For a long time they kept the positions of master of ships and lord admiral, as the family provided most of the royal fleet.They sat on the Small Council.

After Robert's Rebellion, the new king, Robert I Baratheon, gave the castle Dragonstone to his brother Stannis. The Velaryons have been sworn to House Baratheon of Dragonstone ever since.

A traditional name of the Velaryons is Jacaerys.

Their father Rickard and brother Brandon, lost their heads to the Mad King Aerys. This changed the dynamic of House Stark quite considerably, with Eddard now the heir.

In a way, Lyanna represents what House Stark is.

Lyanna is noted to have been a skilled rider who loved to ride. According to Harwin of Winterfell, Lyanna rode "like a northman", while Barbrey Dustin describes her as a centaur, and Roose Bolton states that Lyanna was "half a horse herself".

Another big part of her character is that Lyanna had been fond of flowers. She loved the scent of Winter Roses.

Even though it has been revealed that Jon is Lyanna and Rhaegar's son, I see her spirit living through Arya. They even look the same - but it's mostly their personalities. Arya seems to be Lyanna reincarnated.

Lyanna's character was changed from a multidimensional woman to a 2D cartoon by the men around her. Especially Robert Baratheon, with his unrequited love. From a wolf-woman, to a damsel in distress; Lyanna was done dirty.

If she had lived, she would definitely have evaded Robert, even though he would invite her to King's Landing nonstop. To the point where she would go into hiding? And then once he died, she come out of hiding.

(I think Rhaegar would have died no matter what.)

She would definitely have a lot of enemies; especially those from House Martell. However, she isn't one to avoid confrontation.

Therefore, she would have apologised and shown her true self, so there was no more animosity.

Without a doubt, she would love Arya with all her heart. Seeing her as her own daughter. Doting upon her, teaching her whatever she could. Sansa of course would be very bitter.

Yet, Lyanna isn't the type of person to leave anyone out, or make them feel alientated. So of course she would invite Sansa along, or suffer the more 'lady duties' like sewing.

I also loved seeing Viserys again! Daemon getting some closure; but ultimately I just love Alys. She is my girl. Torturing a man with a literal dragon, he could've retaliated but he didn't. She scared him that much (that's MY opinion).

Although, I am getting the sense that Rhaena is taking Nettle's storyline (if it's true I'm going to be so upset. I want Morning! Rhaena is supposed to have hatched the last dragon).

Also, at the start of the season I decided to hate Gwayne but I LOVE HIM. Telling Alicent she did her best. I mean ... she did what she could with what she knew. What I think is that she loves her kids but she isn't a good mum ... soz Ali.

𝑴𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒐: "As High as Honor" 𝑺𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒍: is a sky-blue falcon soaring upwards, outlined against a white moon on a sky-blue field. 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒔: darker hair, lighter skin, and gray or darker eyes with strong Andal traits.

𝑯𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝑨𝒓𝒓𝒚𝒏 𝒊𝒔 one of the Great noble Houses of the Seven Kingdoms. Their seat is the Eyrie - which is considered impregnable. Their other holding is their Winter castle; the Gates of the Moon (which was once their main seat).

Both castles are next to the Giant's Lance, the tallest mountain in the Vale with the Gates of the Moon in front and the Eyrie further back, nearing the top.

The Arryns have many distant relatives throughout the Vale. However, they are much poorer, the exception are the Arryns of Gulltown. An example is Petyr Baelish - although lesser they are still proud of their name and heritage.

The founder of House Arryn was Ser Artys Arryn, known as the Falcon Knight, and it was founded by the Coming of the Andals. King Roland I Arryn, the grandson of Ser Artys and fourth Arryn king, began the process of building the Eyrie.

The First Men who did not accept Artys as their king were forced into the Mountains of the Moon, becoming the Vale mountain clans.

During the Conquest, the Arryn and Targaryen fleets fought in a battle in the waters off Gulltown, which resulted in the destruction of the Targaryen fleet and the death of its commanding officer, Daemon Velaryon. Visenya Targaryen, on her dragon Vhagar, burned the Arryn fleet in response.

Visenya was tasked with securing the Vale. So, Visenya flew on Vhagar to obtain the surrender of the Vale of Arryn. When Sharra Arryn, the Queen Regent of the Vale, returned to the Eyrie she found her son sitting on Visenya's lap asking if he could ride the dragon with her. Once Sharra yielded and bent the knee, Ronnel flew twice with Visenya and Vhagar.

The Arryns have since remained Defenders of the Vale and Wardens of the East for the Iron Throne.

Personally, Rhaenys would've been an absolutely brilliant ruler. One that would rival that of Jaeharys. It was the wrong decision for Jahaerys to choose Viserys, and I'm going to tell you why!

This is all hypothetical but even so, I'm happy for people to say their piece in the comments. I love talking about HoTD -`♡´-

Let's just say she was heir ever since her father (Aemon) died. With her mother, Jocelyn, grieving I think Alysanne would step in and help with her granddaughter.

Alysanne wasn't called 'The Good Queen' for nothing. She brought a lot of change in Westeros; especially for the women. Therefore, I think her mentorship would guide Rhaenys perfectly. This would lead to Rhaenys making Alysanne the Hand of the Queen until age overcame her.

Rhaenys and Corlys would still marry aswell as having Laenor and Laena. Corlys wouldn't be at sea as much, and Vaemond would have more of a say in Driftmark.

The royals/council members etc wouldn't like the idea of a woman on the throne. But Rhaenys would show them how ruling is actually done.

With every decision she has grace. She isn't hot-headed and would only use Meleys when absolutely necessary.

Dragonstone would be both Laenor and Laena's until it was time to marry.

Alicent and Viserys wouldn't be married - Aemma would still be alive as she wouldn't have been pushed to have so many pregnancies. Or maybe she did die in childbirth, but Viserys told the maesters to do whatever they could to help Aemma.

Viserys would remain unmarried for the rest of his life

Alicent and Rhaenyra are still strong friends ;)

Viserys might not even live in the Red Keep? I'm not sure on that one. Possibly he would and Rhaenyra would grow up around Aemma? And Aemma would automatically adopt Alicent as one of her own children.

OR

Rhaenys does push for Viserys to get married again, and if somehow it's Alicent - then she isn't a young girl but a woman now. And as she has been shown love through Aemma, she respects that woman, even in death. So, Aegon, Helaena, Aemond & Dareon exist (however this would bring challenges to the thrown even more. DOn't know if you can really make a headcanon out of this but I'm curious because I love the stuff you write about the founder trio, but do you think Hashirama would be close with his brother's gf, would he be protective of her? I love Hashirama being the big brother type even to a s/o !!!

•Pretty early on, Hashirama will start calling her “part of the family” which might fluster her a little and will definitely embarrass Tobirama. But he really can’t help it. Hashirama’s excited about the prospective of Tobirama having a s/o in the first place, because there are very few people who can tolerate Tobirama, let alone date him, so Hashirama’s ecstatic and appreciative too

•Yes Hashirama’s also very protective of her. Him being Hokage means he’s likely to stay put in the village for the most part, while Tobirama is sent away on diplomatic missions and such. And during times that she’s also stationed in the village, Hashirama just kind of watches out for her, makes sure she’s alright, tells her she’s always welcome at his and Mito’s house if she’s feeling a bit lonely while Tobirama is away

•He’s even protective of her when it comes to Tobirama. Tobirama of course is temperamental and doesn’t bite his tongue when he should, so he might fuck up and say unsolicited, mean shit to his s/o when he’s irritated.
