What’s something important to you about gaming? So I saw Sakurai apologizing about all the time people have wasted playing super smash bros and it really just filled my heart with nostalgia. About playing the game through the years and it’s iterations with my friends and family during holidays, hangouts or even just playing by myself in my room the memories tied to the game are just great ones.Then you have a game like FF7 to me thickness just such an amazing masterpiece in just about everything. The story telling and graphics blew my 10 year old self away making me fall in love with the characters. I was introduced to the series by my older cousin who would just hang out in the gold saucer.But then we have halo. The memories of that giant brick of a console with those whales which were too big for the hands of a child. The same cousin who was a pretty dominate halo player would just three shot me constantly in halo with the pistol. Then when 2 came out we just conquered the playlist. We honestly became like gods in reach pulling off shit no one else can do. We had our clans and we led them to many victories. We would do “no lose Sundays” where we would start at 9 am and play until we lose or game of thrones started…. We would stop for game of thrones and go back to playing reach after we just didn’t lose in BTB or invasion.So many games mean so much to me. Uniracers with my neighbors, going through time in Ocarina of time, beating LttP in 6 hours as a kid on a sick day. What about gaming just resonates with you.
