Asi Kız (Nrç. Ung Flukt, İng. The Wayward Girl), Edith Carlmar'ın film. Film Norveç sinemasının klasikleri arasında gösteriliyor. Gerd başına buyruk genç bir kızdır, annesi onun için endişelenmektedir ama Gerd annesiyle sürekli çatışır. Anders ise yakında üniversiteye başlayacak genç bir adamdır ve Gerd'de aşıktır. Anders'in ailesi bir burjuva ailesidir, Anders'in Gerd ile beraber olmasına kesinlikle karşıdırlar. Anders ailesinin baskısından kurtulmak için Gerd'i yabandaki bir kulübeye götürür ve ikili orada Adem ve Havva benzeri bir cennet bahçesinde yaşamaya başlarlar. Ama Gerd buradan gitmek istemektedir ve kulübelerine kendileri gibi yabanda yaşayan Bendik'in gelmesiyle ikilinin güzel günleri sarsılmaya başlar. Film düz bir okumayla fakir kız-zengin oğlan tadında bir Yeşilçam filmi gibi görünse de biraz olsun dikkatli bir izlemeyle pek çok gönderisi olduğu anlaşılabilecek keyifli bir film. Ama sonunda klasik değerlerle uzlaşıp ahlakçı bir pozisyona varması beni biraz rahatsız etti.

Feature film debut of Liv Ullmann.

Why is it that so often in these "bad girl leads boy from good family astray" films the boy in question is such an annoying, jealous little bitch?

That's not to say I didn't like it, it was good. Liv Ullman is very good, and Rolf Søder is excellent as a man that comes into the life of the young lovers and stirs things up.

Rosaura Revueltas (Salt of the Earth)—She was a Mexican actress who is best known for starring in salt of the earth, an amazing pro-labor movie made by blacklisted filmmakers. She also starred in the Mexican remake of madchen in uniform, one of the first representations of lesbian romance onscreen. She was really dedicated to making progressive films and was also such an incredible actress and artist I truly believe more people should know about her and her work.
