Best Looking Cars In India 2018
New Post has been published on https://www.autohubindia.com/best-looking-cars-in-india-2018/
Best Looking Cars In India 2018
The recently concluded Auto Expo 2018 saw many car manufacturers showcasing the best from their arsenal of vehicles. While many of these concepts are bound to remain just an interesting design study, there are some that will soon spawn a production-ready model for our car market. Here, in this post, we take a look at 5 Auto Expo concept cars that will be launched soon!
Tata H5X
The Tata H5X concept will soon give birth to a premium SUV that will become the first Tata product to have a definite Land Rover connection. Actually, the upcoming Tata SUV will be underpinned by an Indianised version of the Discover Sport’s L8 platform. Powering the production-spec model will a re-tuned version of the 2.0 Multijet Diesel mill that can be found on the Jeep Compass. Tata Motors has already said that the production-spec model will look a lot like the concept you see in the image above. Expect a late 2019 launch with prices starting around Rs 15 lakh.
Mahindra eKUV100
As the name suggests, this one’s an electric version of the KUV100 sub-4-metre crossover. The all-electric version is likely to launch in 2019 at a price point of approx. 9 lakh. Powering the eKUV100 is the same 30 kW electric motor as the eVerito. This EV has a claimed range of 140 KMs. 80% of the Lithium Ion battery pack can be charged in less than an hour thru a fast charger. Other than some new badges and stickers, there’s nothing really to differentiate this EV from its fossil fuel-sipping sister.
Kia SP Concept SUV
The stunning Kia SP Concept from this year’s Expo will soon spawn a compact SUV that will go on to rival the likes of Hyundai Creta. There are good chances that the production-spec Kia SP compact SUV will launch in 2019. Prices will be slightly higher than those of the Creta. However, the company believes it will be able to justify the higher price tag thru a more upmarket design and more features. The production-spec Kia SP will be underpinned by a modern platform that will also underpin the next-generation Hyundai Creta.
Tata X45X (Maruti Baleno Rival)
Another stunning design study that has made it to our list is the Tata X45X premium hatchback concept. The X45X features the IMPACT 2.0 design language and will spawn a Maruti Baleno- and Hyundai i20-rival. We are hopeful of a late-2019 launch. Prices are expected to start at roughly Rs 5 lakh. The production-spec X45X will be electrification-ready and will also meet the BS6 emission norms. Also, expect the production version of this concept to offer many features and enough interior space for five occupants.
Maruti Future S

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, India’s largest-selling carmaker and the undisputed leader of small cars, came up with the Future S concept at this year’s Expo. The new Maruti Future S concept will spawn a Renault Kwid-like small car, which means the production version will be a hatchback with many crossover traits. It’s expected that the production model will be powered by a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine and a new turbo diesel engine. AMT is likely to on offer. The upcoming car will be underpinned by the company’s HEARTECT lightweight platform. The company says that the Future S concept is based on the fast-changing preference of the car buying audience.
