The RHP also highlighted that the company’s historical and future capital expenditures are primarily focused on acquiring plant, property, equipment, and intangible assets for new passenger vehicle models. “In the three months ended June 30, 2024 and 2023 and in financial years 2024, 2023 and 2022, our payment for acquisition of property, plant and equipment and intangible assets were Rs 5,590.72 million, Rs 5,355.84 million, Rs 32,462.08 million, Rs 22,609.82 million and Rs 12,649.79 million, respectively,” stated the RHP. Hyundai India targets production growth Hyundai India has set a production goal of 775,000 units for 2024, up from 765,000 units in 2023. The Pune plant, expected to begin operations in the latter half of 2025, will initially have a capacity of 170,000 units. In a second phase, production will increase by an additional 80,000 units, bringing the plant’s total capacity to 250,000 units, the report stated. In addition to increasing its focus on Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), Hyundai has formulated an electric vehicle (EV) strategy with plans to introduce four battery-powered models in the medium term. These models will cover various segments, including a mass-market electric car, premium models, the Inster EV (which will compete with the Punch EV), and an electric version of the popular Creta SUV. For the financial year ending March 2024, Hyundai India reported a total income of Rs 71,302 crore and a profit of Rs 6,060 crore, compared to an income of Rs 61,436 crore and a profit of Rs 4,709 crore in FY23. Hyundai India: IPO details On October 9, Hyundai India announced plans to launch the country's largest initial public offering (IPO), valued at Rs 27,870 crore, with a price range set at Rs 1,865 to Rs 1,960 per share. The IPO will open for public subscription on October 15 and close on October 17, while anchor investors will place bids on October 14. The automaker aims to deepen its connection with India by listing on the stock market. HMIL COO Tarun Garg had said that the IPO will give the company an opportunity to adopt global standards in areas such as excellence, operations, and governance, which are key advantages of going public. He further said, “The brand Hyundai has really been accepted very well in India. We have been able to appeal to the Indian people generally. This is probably the right country to really go for the IPO.” First Published: Oct 12 2024 | 11:52 AM IST [ad_2] Source link

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Launched In India At ₹ 14.99 Lakh: Price, Specs, Features
Hyundai India has launched an updated avatar of its 7-seater SUV - Alcazar. The Creta-based 3-row SUV was long due for a mid-cycle refresh. The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift is launched at a special introductory starting price of ₹ 14.99 lakh for petrol variants and ₹ 15.99 lakh for diesel variants. It will continue to take on its existing set of rivals - Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector, Citroen C3 Aircross, Kia Carens and more. In the last few months, the Alcazar has been a dull seller. The update, however, is expected to add some more numbers to the SUV's monthly sales tally.
Tumblr media
The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar isn't just a stretched-out Creta, in terms of its looks. It opts for a bold-looking design theme, comprising of a rather butch-looking front facet with H-shaped connected LED DRLs, a large radiator grille, and a wide scuff plate.
Around the sides, the big change is the addition of new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, bigger rear quarter windows, black-painted cladding, and bridge-type roof rails. The rear face of the Alcazar is also heavily tweaked with the use of a new spoiler, a reworked bumper, and a fresh design for the skid plate. It also gets connected LED taillamps with sequential turn indicators.
As for the dimensions, the Alcazar is 4,560 mm in length, 1,800 mm wide, and 1,710 mm tall. In comparison to the outgoing model, the 2024 Alcazar is 60 mm longer, 10 mm wider, and 35 mm taller. The wheelbase remains unaltered at 2,760 mm.
On the inside, the big change on the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar is a new dashboard layout, which is borrowed from the facelifted Creta. The cabin is now upholstered in new shades - noble brown and haze navy. The dual-tone treatment gives a premium appeal to the overall cabin.
Besides, the 6-seater variant now features ventilated second-row seats with folding armrests, which improve the accessibility to the third-row. Unique thigh extenders are a key highlight of the Alcazar's interior.
The bold new Hyundai Alcazar will be offered in 9 colours with 8 mono-tone options including the new Robust Emerald Matte, Titan Grey Matte, Robust Emerald, Starry Night, Ranger Khakhi, Fiery Red, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and 1 dual-tone colour option available in Atlas White with Black Roof.

Exciting New Hyundai Cars Coming to Indonesia by End of 2024
Tumblr media
The automotive market in Indonesia is very competitive. In the midst of events, PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia is gearing up for a big attack with its line-ups that will hit the roads. As 2024 is about to end, HMID is preparing for some new model launches before the year concludes. This was quite evident in the recently held 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show, GIIAS, in Surabaya. Teasers for the same were provided by Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, Operating Chief of HMID, suggesting a lineup that is rather disparate to say the least: hybrids, ICE vehicles, and EVs.
Line-up in Existence and Expectations
Hyundai has launched five new models in 2024 alone, each targeted at the variable consumer demands and preferences. These include the Hyundai Ioniq 5 Batik Edition, Creta Alpha, Palisade XRT, All-New Kona Electric, and the Ioniq 5 N. With the year almost finishing, Hyundai Indonesia prepares to add three more models. Refusing to confirm specific models, Soerjopranoto has made many believe that the releases might involve the Hyundai Tucson, Santa Fe, and Venue.
Soerjopranoto had given hints about these new arrivals at the auto show, but he never detailed them. He said that most of the new models remained under consideration, thereby raising expectation from automotive enthusiasts and would-be buyers. "As I said, many of the models that we will bring in are still under study. Yes, just wait," he teased. "Don't worry, we are still bringing new products. There will be some in the near future."
GIIAS Surabaya 2024: Highlights
At the 2024 GIIAS Surabaya, Hyundai stole the show with their astonishing line-up of new models and-most importantly-electric vehicles. Some of the key launches were the All-New Hyundai Kona Electric and the Ioniq 5 N. These models have garnered significant momentum in Jakarta and its environs, while their new availability throughout Indonesia marks an important milestone for Hyundai in their quest to improve their standing in the EV market.
All-New Hyundai Kona Electric: A New Milestone in Local Production
The presence of the All-New Hyundai Kona Electric is recorded in the history of Indonesian automotive. It became the forerunner of electric cars in Indonesia with domestically produced batteries. This is indeed an important achievement and the fruit of cooperation with PT HLI Green Power, which began producing batteries on July 3, 2024. The Kona Electric has an aerodynamic shape and an extensive interior; it can travel more than 600 km with just one full charge. It also defines the new benchmark of performance, comfort, and efficiency in the electric SUV class.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 N: Electric Revolution in High Performance
Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is yet another giant leap for Indonesia's first high-performance electric vehicle. It enters the Indonesian market with the introduction of the Hyundai N Brand through a combination of advanced technology with high-performance engineering. The Ioniq 5 N comes with driving control functions and responsiveness, including N Grin Boost, N Launch Control, N Drift Optimizer, and N Race. Produksi lokal Cikarang, West Java, the Ioniq 5 N is a very important evolution in the electric vehicle portfolio of Hyundai.
Hyundai's Commitment to the Indonesian EV Ecosystem
Hyundai's involvement in GIIAS Surabaya 2024 is a stronger commitment by the brand to reinforce its leading position in Indonesia's EV market segment. "We realize that Hyundai's participation in the GIIAS Surabaya event this year is to further solidify its leading position in the EV ecosystem of Indonesia. We are therefore happy to introduce the All-New Hyundai Kona Electric and Ioniq 5 N to the people of Surabaya after these models received extraordinary enthusiasm in Jakarta and around the city," said Soerjopranoto.
Price and Availability
Hyundai Motor Indonesia has distributed both the All-New Kona Electric and Ioniq 5 N to all parts of Indonesia. Orders for both cars have been officially opened through Hyundai's authorized dealership network. In Surabaya, the All-New Kona Electric was priced from IDR 503 million. Meanwhile, the Ioniq 5 N is expected to be around IDR 1.3 billion. Here are the variants and their prices on the road in Surabaya:
All-New Hyundai Kona Electric:
Signature Long Range: Rp 594.8 million
Signature Standard Range: Rp 579.8 million
Prime Long Range: Rp 564.8 million
Prime Standard Range: Rp 519.8 million
Style Standard Range: Rp 503.7 million
Hyundai Ioniq 5 N:
    Ioniq 5 N: Rp 1.3 billion (estimation)
Conclusion
Going into the second half of 2024, Hyundai's strategic focus is clearly on further expanding its line-up of vehicles in order to respond to more diversified Indonesian consumers. Moreover, several new exciting models are under development with a strong emphasis on electric vehicles.
