Ontem participei de uma live da @OnOffWine sobre “Sul do Chile” e tive a grata surpresa de beber este vinho! 🇨🇱 Este é o “La Causa Cinsault 2019” da grande @MiguelTorresCl — um belo vinho 100% Cinsault de vinhas velhas, plantadas em “secano” (isto é, sem irrigação) na região do Vale de Itata (no Sul do Chile). 50% das uvas fazem maceração carbônica e o vinho passa 12 meses em barricas velhas de carvalho francês. 🍷 Coloracao rubi claro na taça. Aromas de frutas vermelhas frescas (cereja, framboesa, cramberry), floral (hibisco), um toque de ervas frescas e chá. Na boca é seco, tem corpo leve, acidez média+, poucos taninos e bastante frutas vermelhas frescas e ervas, com moderada persistência. 📝 Bom vinho! Aroma de frutas vermelhas maduras, um leve floral, ervas aromáticas, alcaçuz, madeira discreta e um toque terroso. Na boca tem corpo médio, acidez média+ e taninos médios+, de excelente qualidade. Um dos melhores Malbecs que bebi recentemente: “Calcáreo Colúvio de Altamira 2016” da extraordinária bodega @SuperUco 🇦🇷. Um Malbec biodinâmico elaborado com uvas de Paraje Altamira (no Vale do Uco, Mendoza), fermentado em concreto e maturado em barricas usadas de carvalho francês de 500 litros. 🍷 Coloração granada intensa, opaca e com reflexos acastanhados. Aroma de frutas vermelhas maduras, goiabada cascão, mineral intenso (pedra moída, giz) e discreto mentol. Na boca tem corpo médio, acidez média+ e taninos intensos, de excelente qualidade e maciez. As fruta e a mineralidade se repetem, com longa persistência. 📝 Belíssimo vinho! Bastante estrutura mas super equilibrado e macio, com uma mineralidade deliciosa! Primeiro post da viagem ao Uruguai 🇺🇾 e já começo com um tbt de um dos vinhos que mais me encantaram dentre os muitos vinhaços que provei por lá… 🍇 Este é o espetacular “Preludio Barrel Select 2016” da @BodegaFamiliaDeicas — um corte de 34% Merlot, 25% Tannat, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Marselan, 6% Cabernet Franc e 3% Petit Verdot provenientes de diferentes regiões do Uruguai. As diferentes variedades são fermentadas individualmente e os vinhos maturam em barricas francesas (de 2º e 3º usos) na cave histórica da bodega. A cada 6 meses as melhores barricas são selecionadas para continuar maturando e, após 24 a 30 meses, um comitê de enólogos decide o blend final (que varia a cada safra). 🍷 Na taça, mostrou coloração rubi de média intensidade. No nariz mostra fruta negra madura, especiarias (pimenta negra e canela), tabaco e couro. Na boca tem corpo médio+, acidez média+ e taninos elevados, mas muito macios! Os aromas se repetem no palato com persistência moderada. 📝 Que vinhaço! Bastante estrutura, pedindo algum tempo no decanter, mas já mostrando muito equilíbrio, frescor e alta qualidade de taninos.
