sometimes i feel like rn it's really understated just how bad things could be if trump wins. like, actually. i feel like it's being forgotten that despite how bad things are right now, they would surely get WORSE.
#i dont want biden to win either#but is there really a big enough politician on the democratic party who the (still conservative) american population would vote for#HILLARY didnt even win and she's a generally non-offensive white woman#i know its like voting for 2 evils. but lest we forget there is definitely a MORE evil one here#and i think its the one who unabashedly tried to flush stolen documents in his toilet#i think its the one who wants to build the iron dome#i really wish i could say not to vote for biden. because trust i know very well all the shitty things hes done and stands for#(him clearly explaining ukraine & russia but dodging any questions about israel & palestine is enough proof of this)#but things around the world are going to get much much worse if trump wins#'cause hes just going to do whatever the republican party tells him to#downright evil those people could be at times#im still trying to gather my thoughts around this#as an outsider i cant help but be worried#because rn the us is a big factor towards the west philippine sea tensions#and honestly if we lose toast. like we're actually going to get colonized for the 4TH time#so im scared of what'll happen if trump were to ever take office again#00#sorry for the long tags btw#i fully understand that biden is a horrible person. i was pulling my hair out with all of you#but there are nuisances here that i feel shouldnt be forgotten#trump unfortunately really came out with a stronger swing after that debate#so i feel like everyone's sort of forgetting that no matter how horrible everything is right now#his only promise is to make things worse#and not voting only adds to his perogative

"Preparing for a Global Environmental Catastrophe: Creative Expansion"
Tumblr media
In light of the imminent global ecological catastrophe, recent developments near the city of Armyansk have raised concerns. Reports from the Kherson Regional State Administration indicate that Russian individuals have allegedly initiated the process of sabotaging the Crimea Titan plant, situated in close proximity to the city. This action is purportedly aimed at thwarting the counteroffensive operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the peninsula. Furthermore, Russia intends to shift blame onto the Ukrainian side for the consequences of this criminal act. If the occupiers resort to such terrorist actions, environmental experts predict that a poisonous cloud of emissions may engulf Ukraine, Turkey, and even parts of Russia itself. It is important to note that the Crimea Titan plant is the largest producer of titanium dioxide in Eastern Europe.
Amidst the escalating global environmental crisis, nations around the world are grappling with the urgent need for sustainable solutions. The incident involving the Crimea Titan plant serves as a chilling reminder of the potential ramifications that destructive actions can have on both regional and international levels. Beyond its immediate political implications, this act of sabotage has far-reaching ecological consequences that demand our attention.
The Crimea Titan plant, renowned as the preeminent producer of titanium dioxide in Eastern Europe, holds significant industrial and economic importance. Titanium dioxide is a versatile compound used in various industries, including paint, cosmetics, and plastics. The plant's massive production capacity underscores its crucial role in supplying this essential component to meet the demands of numerous sectors.
However, the dark cloud of environmental devastation looms over this dire situation. If the perpetrators succeed in their nefarious plot, the release of toxic emissions from the sabotaged plant could trigger an ecological disaster of unprecedented magnitude. The potential fallout extends beyond the immediate vicinity, with Ukraine, Turkey, and even parts of Russia at risk of being engulfed by the poisonous cloud.
The consequences of such an event would be catastrophic, with far-reaching implications for human health, ecosystems, and the delicate balance of our planet. The toxic cloud could permeate the atmosphere, causing respiratory ailments, contaminating water sources, and decimating wildlife populations. The long-term effects on the affected regions would be immeasurable, with lasting damage to biodiversity, agriculture, and local economies.
Recognizing the gravity of this situation, global attention must be directed towards preventive measures and collaborative efforts to avert this potential catastrophe. It is imperative that the international community comes together to condemn such acts of environmental terrorism and holds the responsible parties accountable for their actions.
Moreover, this incident underscores the pressing need for a paradigm shift in our approach to environmental protection. As we confront the consequences of climate change and face the specter of global ecological collapse, it is crucial that we prioritize sustainable practices, invest in renewable energy sources, and foster international cooperation in addressing environmental challenges.
he reported attempt to sabotage the Crimea Titan plant near Armyansk serves as a sobering reminder of the grave threats posed by actions driven by political agendas. Beyond the immediate security concerns, the potential environmental repercussions of such an act demand our attention. The prospect of a toxic cloud enveloping Ukraine, Turkey, and parts of Russia underscores the urgency of taking decisive action to prevent this ecological catastrophe. Only through collective effort and a commitment to sustainable practices can we safeguard our planet and ensure a brighter future for generations to come.

Hi! I was leafing through your blog and happened to see your comment that Russia is a totalitarian state without freedom. Is that what they tell you in class and on TV? You know, you are being blatantly lied to. I went to Russia once, and I liked it a hell of a lot. But my singular opinion, of course, means nothing against promoting hatred of Russia, however, I advise you to watch on YouTube videos of people who have gone to live in Russia. You will be very surprised, because what we are told at school and on TV is completely untrue. Good luck!
Hello there to you too
Honestly I try to avoid talking about my own political opinions as much as possible.
I don’t think that they don’t have any freedom at all, just that their media is manipulated. Of course, I don’t think this goes for the entire country, likely most areas, for sure, but definitely not the entire area.
I’ll try to do more research later on.
And no, this isn’t what they tell me in class or on the news. Only time they ever discuss other countries is during World History and US History, and as far as I can remember they don’t really go into Russian history. I don’t watch the news much either and the news I do watch is mostly local.
I mainly set my opinions based on what I’ve seen through different peoples’ perspectives on the Internet. (And while it’s not the most reliable, it keeps me open minded)

I can't believe that we're only half-way through February 2023 and so much crazy stuff has already happened this year.
And yet I'm also not at all because I honestly believe these are the "birth pains" the Bible talked about.
And because 2022 was getting so weird, I figured 2023 would probably be the same way and worse. Like, that we'd get more of the same (and maybe more intense things? And perhaps stranger?) and maybe even in faster intervals. (And that also goes hand-in-hand with the Bible mentioning the "birth pains", and how like a woman in labor they would become more frequent and painful.)

Man... the vast majority of people just uh... do not get geopolitical stuff at all
#I was watching a show that... mhh... I don't know if it used to be good; but it was enjoyable; and then the last season was bad#(like... they forgot how to write it... I... assume some corpo meddling)#anyway; the finale for the whole show thankfully did end up being pretty good despite being mixed in the writing#cause it really did show a lot of respect for the past with the show and brought back a lot of one off characters in ways that worked#but... and this is what the post is about; China had developed a new bunker buster; and someone stole it#and they were gonna use it to start world war 3 (it turns out by... blowing up a damn in russia)#and... a) no one gives a shit about a new bunker buster; like yeah in that situation the US would rather China didn't have it#but the US doesn't like the fact that China's working on hyper sonics; and frankly no one likes anything anyone does#every country's ideal game plan is they get the ultra mega doom weapon and everyone else isn't even allowed sticks#but no one's really gonna care about a bunker buster; and it's unlikely to even be a game changer#between probably expense and... the existence of bunker busters already; and a finite number of hardened targets worth hitting...#just a bunker buster doesn't matter; it really doesn't; neither in terms of starting a war nor in terms of military application#it's like how F-16s have been good for Ukraine; ...whatever the acronym for attackems is good for Ukraine#(sorry; HIMARs and such are easy to remember; but it's like... ATKMs? I'm not looking that up)#but none of them are single handedly winning the war; russia's 'hypersonics' aren't doing shit#systems definitely matter; but you're not going to have one that just totally tips the state of the world#second though... that's not going to start ww3; russia blew up a damn in Ukraine and no one even gave a shit#(it's horrific; to be clear I'm furious at the lack of international response; we should have made it a clear red line on par with a nuke)#(but we didn't; despite the massive ecological devastation it caused; not to mention human lives lost; I'm so so so angry)#but even though the world values russia more... it would raise tensions; and there would be saber rattling but...#sorry; I don't think you could really frame this is something the US did and it would mostly just escalate tensions#just not believable in the slightest#no... what would be very bad is if China ever decides to invade Taiwan; if anything would be the spark it would be that#though even then it's likely to be more localized with US intervention (if our useless asses can even do that)#...that right there is one of the scariest actual... flash point situations on the table#(and the west has totally failed because the best way to make sure that didn't happen would have been overwhelming support to Ukraine)#(send a clear message that invading your neighbor gets your teeth kicked in by the west as they funnel unlimited military aid in)#now hopefully China never does that... but... that's the really scary one#not that there's not a lot of bad all over the world but like...#the middle east... while it has effects everywhere (most of all on the people living through things)

Vladimir Putin ally makes disturbing call for Russia to seize massive territory
Gerashchenko warned on X: “According to propagandist Solovyov, Finland, Warsaw, the Baltics, Moldova, and even Alaska should be ‘returned to the Russian Empire.’ They won’t stop at Ukraine. The Russian imperialists are insatiable.” Alaska was originally part of Russia until it was sold to the United States in 1867 following the signing of the Alaska Treaty by then-President Andrew Johnson. G7 leaders gather in Italy to discuss conflicts in Gaza, Lebanon and Ukraine
G7 foreign ministers will meet near Rome on Monday for two days of talks with regional counterparts on the Middle East before discussing the military conflict in Ukraine.
The G7 ministers will also discuss the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Hamas leader, “as well as possible implications for the ongoing crises in Lebanon and Gaza,” Italy’s foreign ministry said.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will attend the talks in Fiuggi and Anagni along with ministers from the other G7 countries – Britain, Canada, Germany, France and Japan – which will be organised by Italian representative Antonio Tajani.
The first meeting on Monday afternoon will focus on the situation in the Middle East and the Red Sea region, in particular efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon.
According to Rome, ministers from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Egypt, as well as the secretary-general of the Arab League, will attend one of the meetings. Tajani said in a statement:
“We have asked for the presence of partners in the region to foster dialogue with the members of the G7. Only together can we find concrete solutions that can bring peace and stability to the region.”
In Brussels, ambassadors from NATO and Ukraine will hold talks on Russia’s launch of an experimental medium-range hypersonic missile.
Tensions in the Asia-Pacific region are also on the agenda for the G7 meeting, and the Italians have invited the foreign ministers of South Korea, India, Indonesia and the Philippines.
G7 ministers are also expected to discuss the ongoing crises in Haiti and Sudan, as well as the political situation in Venezuela.
Arrest warrants for Netanyahu
On Thursday, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and his former defence minister Yoav Gallant, as well as Hamas spokesman Mohammed Deif, in response to charges of crimes against humanity and war crimes in Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza, sparked by an attack by the Palestinian group’s militants on October 7, 2023.
Israel and its allies condemned the decision, but it was welcomed by Turkey and human rights groups.
Several countries have said they will honour ICC warrants and arrest Netanyahu if he is on their territory, while other states are still mulling their reaction to the decision.
The news of Netanyahu’s arrest warrant sparked a massive reaction from political leaders on social media Former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis tweeted:
“Germany will not arrest genocidal Netanyahu “because of its Nazi history,” says Chancellor Olf Scholz. He forgot to add that Germany has no problem arresting Jews who dare oppose genocide. Is this also because of Germany’s Nazi past?”
