It's so so SO HARD not to get mad when an asshole treats you like shit and provokes you just to feel better themselves. It's imperative not to do it, though, because that's what they want, they thrive off that shit, and you'll feel terrible afterwards either way so at least you know you haven't handed them a victory. So FUCKING hard though!!!

Today I visit a different orthopedic surgeon, and I hope it’s the last one. It’s a 3 hour round trip commitment. I’m so exhausted of this. I hope that he gives me the same ideas as one of the other people I’ve seen so I can tell myself “yes, this is what it will look like.”

My anxiety is pretty high right now.
