Can we get something with the Ursus Student Self-Governing Group? I love the Trauma Bears and they are girlfriends.

It's hard, adjusting to life at Rhodes. Everything is loud and soft and busy, in ways that don't fit right. Food is always just...right there. No one attacks them in the halls as they move from exam room, to training room, to dormitory.

Zima hates it. Life shouldn't be this easy, should it? Why now, was there a respite offered to them?

But when she sees Anna reading her newest book, smiling to herself? When Lada returns from the kitchens with dinner, proud of learning a new dish?

She mustn't allow herself to become complacent. She bristles at the long-forgotten emotions boiling inside her.

But at the same time...maybe they all can find some kind of solace here.

I don't ship every single ship on here all at once, but mapping it out as if I do is far simpler. For example, I'm not shipping Talulah with Frostleaf and Alina at the same time I'm shipping her with Eblana.

Regular lines represent a serious relationship as opposed to the dashed lines, which represent a casual relationship.

Arrows represent a one-sided crush, sense of adoration, or a character hitting on another, hence why Tomimi has three pointing at Gavial.

Ari is the medic NPC with us in Chernobog and most of the main story, her name given in the Anterior story of the Vigilo vignette. Mina is the medic NPC living and raising a child with Meteor in Meteors OpRecs. Lana is the girl Meteor is REALLY close with as a child.

The woman on top is Ada, featured in Chapter 13.

The woman to the right is Eileen, with Inam wrapping her arm around her shoulders in the panel shown as Inam asks "What? Aren't I good enough company?" This panel is from 3% in to Chapter 1.

The woman on the bottom left is Maertha, a Feline young adult who has been waiting for Angelina's return for five years (since she was young, probably 12-14) and is laughing after finally meeting her again. She first features in Chapter 6.

The woman to the bottom middle is Eliza, an Archosaurian woman who is awed by Angelina's arts.

The woman on the bottom right is Indie Lightrace. In canon, she's a cis male, but I am wise. She is Eliza's mentor.

I don't think I need to explain Scavenger x Provence.

The Jessicule. There are 6 characters. I really enjoyed the scene where Almond hugs Jessica and slips a piece of paper into her coat... so cute. Coldshot x Jessica needs no explanation. The Cautus woman is Tila, Clip Cliff's intelligence officer. She also buys Coldshot a drink.

No explanation for Tila x Sylvia. I just think that it would be funny if she moved on from her fiance dying via hooking up with a hot Cautus woman. I also like Tila and Sylvia's designs and think they both deserve girlfriends.

I've been thinking about how the USSG call each other, and it turned into more of a project than I expected. It took me probably too many reads of Children of Ursus and all of the OpRecs but I've finally figured it out... I feel kinda dumb in retrospect. I blame Gummy for being the wild card :P

There are some exceptions to these rules but I think it's a pretty good baseline.

Gummy:

Gummy is always Gummy when Gummy is present

Gummy when any non-USSG are present

Lada when only non-Gummy USSG are present

Zima:

Zima thinks of herself as Zima, unless she is remembering Chernobog or pre-Chernobog. Then she is Sonya.

Zima when Gummy or any non-USSG are present

Sonya when only non-Gummy USSG are present

Zima when Istina is being cold to her

Istina:

Istina thinks of herself as Istina, unless she is remembering Chernobog or pre-Chernobog. Then she is Anna. She breaks this rule more than Zima breaks her similar one.

my mumu loving friend, I've been trying to complete waves 8 of IS3 using bearknights (USSG + Jaye + FEater + Beehunter + Aurora) and I'm. struggling.

sometimes I get so so close but the lack of any aerial stuns or medics is killing me.

Oh yeah the lack of consistent air power is going to kick your ass big time, you more or less have to hope for Glory Pack and do some tactical suicides to ground the Drifters, or get so much ASPD that Rosa just eats them alive Gummy style.

Best of luck because that's hell you're walking it.

So I go reminded that this screen was a thing today cause I got new furniture today, and its such a neat look what arknights devs saw as the core original factions on release. I just kinda wanted to go through and see how much these factions have gotten story wise. Putting it under keep reading just cause it got long.

Followers: Nearl got her story told but shining and nightingale are just kinda waiting for there moment in the main story and only have gotten snippets.

Glasgow: Siege is pretty much the mc of the victoria arc, and as a whole they've gotten a solid amount.

PL: Kinda shockingly they've only gotten cob and IS for texas's story, and sora's character. Exu has gotten a fair amount of teasers she'll play a role in laterano later, but for what has felt like the most marketed faction they've actually been pretty tame with them.

Lungmen: honestly a weird place where they've gotten a fair amount of story but some like hoshi feel sorta neglected.

BS: No event on global but one on CN and they've gotten a manga. Probably more to come as well.

AH: two anni events sorta grani's event and a fair amount of focus in IS3 with a lot more story set up. Even though they have been put on the back burner by hg.

Rhine: some nodes in maggies event sorta mansfield, dorothy's event, and the 2nd longest story event in lone trail. Though some like Ifrit haven't really got much story focus yet

Karlan: Two normal events which feels oddly tame for how popular a group they are.

USSG: One mini event and leto. Poor baby bears the neglected of the original factions, at least there mom loves them at least.

I don't really have any thoughts besides "please give shiningale and ussg stories hg" I just kinda wanted to go a break down of it since I found it neat, and cause I'm procrastinating on a paper.

Where to start..

Age of majority

The age of majority refers to the age at which an individual will be legally considered an adult. It is the age at which one will be subject to the full legal rights and responsibilities of an adult, including the right to vote, the right to join the military or the right to sign a contract. After reaching the age of majority, one will become fully responsible for their own actions, contractual obligations and other undertakings. Parental duties of support will also cease.  It is important to note that the age of majority does not necessarily conflate with the drinking age, smoking age, driving age, voting age, age of sexual consent, marriageable age etc. These will also vary from state by state and country by country. United States: 18/19/21* Netherlands: 18 United Kingdom: 21 Austria: 19 Sweden: 18 Canada: 18/19* Australia: 18 Switzerland: 20 Germany: 18 Japan: 18 France: 21 Belgium: 18 (Countries based on stupid purple circle graph by the US. SG office) (**Alabama and Mississippi being weird and some Canadian territories) The age of majority is 18 years in almost all OECD countries (Table PF1.8 A). General consensus among most people is that at 18 you are an adult, Uncle Sam says you're old enough to be drafted at 18. The World Health Organization is a United Nations political tool that does not have a great track record at all. The UN/WHO have no say in US politics or policies at the end of the day.

Relative frequencies are often used to inform the general population instead of experts and they have some advantages for this use case:

relative frequencies always allow for integers instead of fractions, which is useful if the variable of interest only makes sense in integer format (e.g. 0.5 out of 100 humans or 0.3 out of 100 births is not helpful). If the occurrence is very low (say 1 in a million), percentages are also not pretty (0.0001%)

relative frequencies might be easier to visualize: 1 in 10 may make us think of 10 people we know; 10% is rather abstract. As Greg Snow pointed out, relative frequencies have a relation to the real world. If 100 000 people live in my city, 85/100 000 is easier to grasp.

there is actually also scientific theory about this, the "frequency format hypothesis": "The frequency format hypothesis is the idea that the brain understands and processes information better when presented in frequency formats rather than a numerical or probability format." (from Wikipedia)

and, finally, percentages are sometimes given without a reference class (% of what?)

So when you proclaim 36.4 per 1m with your purple graph, that's 0.00364% chance of death between your chosen demographic.

0.00364%* 1 in 15,300 people has a better chance of getting hit by lighting. (according to News Nation) That's 0.00653%**

See, pretty interesting how its not much of a difference in percentages but the numbers are widely different.

(I'll add the source of that 36.4 per 1m here (at least the Office of the USSG spelled the organization correctly, I'll give them that.)

I mean there is also the whole PDF by them.. You know so people can read the whole thing on which this data pieced from. before we dig into that PDF, lets go to the Unified Crime Report (UCR) from the FBI, our favorite Table 8.

I want to you look at these numbers carefully. Total homicides for 2019, 13,927 - The FBI include suicides in these statistics for the UCR, as suicide is typically recorded as a homicide/murder. Lets go over to the mess I like to call the "Crime Data Explorer", this is the new administration trying to be edgy for no reason with their data. Data set to the same year 2019.

That's 6,618 uses of weapons in a homicide. A little different than the 13,927 from the UCR. Lets go over to Table 9 You might like this because of the age brackets. Important to note we're still at 13,927 victims.

669 victims of homicide under the age of 18, and if you want to be semantic, 1,462 deaths of 19 and under. Some would think "Wow that's a big leap!" 17-19 account for a massive jump from 270 to 1,042. Most can and would attribute that to gang violence. Now lets jump to the new CDE.

1,048 victims 19 and below. Pretty close but no cigar to the UCR this time. Wondering where I'm going with this ey? Well there hasn't been a new UCR out since 2019. And quiet frankly the CDE is horrible to interact with and considering the variables I've found in it, I'd find them not very accurate. But if I would..

If we believe the CDE trend wise homicide is down, minus since 2020 its spiked a really shitty border might be a reason for that but I digress. (that means gun violence is as well by the way but otherwise down.) And if we want to look at 2022;

That's one hell of a jump if you ask me but also closer to the old UCR data though mildly increased. So in comparison the CDE does not have a good breakdown of their data into tables like the UCR. So all in all, I'd love to know where "48,204 total people died from firearm‑related injuries, including suicides, homicides, and unintentional deaths." As the PDF graphs you've give me to read. (Their number 2 source doesn't give the data they used for that quote btw) Because if they're trying to include suicides say from AFSP the say there were 27,032 suicides by firearms in 2022, but that doesn't stack well when there are suicides reported with homicide numbers in the UCR. So be it as it may. I see your PDF and I would trash it, even if it had some interesting tidbits like this;

I'd say Gang related or socioeconomic conditions may have something to do with this in urban centers and it's not necessarily a firearm issue. But anyways.
