sunset-wolf-stickers-but-looks-more-like-a-coyote-or-I-guess-red-wolf-too stickers!!
you can buy em on my ko-fi shop for $5:3
the shop listing is for USA orders, but pls message me here or on ko-fi if you want it shipped to you internationally! (shipping costs may be higher)
all these were drawn, printed, and cut by me! Hence the price (sticker paper and laminating sheets…my worst enemies…pricey djfhhdj)
more ramblings below
I made these awhile with the intent to make more wolf themed stickers to sell as a bundle but burn out hit hard. I want to make more wolf themed stickers eventually tho! My original idea was to make some discreet (wolf for now) therian stickers without saying so explicitly, cuz I understand some can’t buy therian items safely (think discreet pride merch !)
anyway, there’s 5 of these puppers at the moment. They’ll be out on Ko-Fi for a week or so for $5 before I list em over on my main shop on Esty for $6 (the Ko-Fi listing will still exist for cheaper tho).

f1 related news, facts and plain speculations collected over the past few days
Estrella Galicia cimes back to McLaren and their all other sponsors after the relationship with Ferrari ended to make space for Peroni (who came from Aston Martin sponsors pool)
There are more and more speculations about Alex to Ferrari and from what I understood, Spanish media aren't very happy about that or about articles written about Charles and his reported contract
There are rumours of Prema expanding into Indycar (which I think could be beneficial as some of their drivers are already a part of the series nowadays)
Steiner confirmed he couldn't even say goodbye to the team and thanked them in a live interview with Autosport 2024
Formula E chief said Formula E has its door open for Checo and that he talks to him all the time (rip Checo Perez)
Aston Martin hires Andor Hegedus as Senior Project Designer (he previously worked with RBR and they say he was important for RBR pit stop strategies, so a pretty big name in the game)
Doriane Pin signed to drive in F1 academy for Mercedes but from my understandment she will also be in F4 UAE (and stays part of Iron Damen drivers)
Juju Noda will race in Super Formula
McLaren archived all of their posts (I found reports saying it was up to 10k posts) and started a "whatever it takes campaign" whatever that could mean with today's date being teased (Rebrand? Car launch confirmation? Black livery?)
Toto Wolff extended his Merc contract for 3 more years (including 2026)
Leo Turnini apparently claimed that Ferrari's target for 2024 is to win 5 races
Alan Permane that used to be Alpine's Sporting Director is said to join Alpha Tauri/Racing Bulls
Speaking of Racing Bulls, their new name should get announced with the car launch (and we have most car launch dates confirmed by now)
Mercedes invested more into pit stops equipment over the winter break, because after a few dominant years they fell behind in pit stop stats
Speaking of Merc, they sim driver Anthony Davidson claimed that w15 finally feels like a car after what they had for two years
Formula E is back and I beg everyone who watched the race in Mexico with striking 3 official overtakes to not get discouraged it is nawttt always like this
Speaking of FE, Jake Dennis came to say that RB20 is extremely fast car in the simulator and other teams would need to find over 1s per lap to get close to them
Emily Prazer will step up from the role of LV gp Chief Commercial to the role of Chief Commercial Officer of F1 (Brandon Snow previously was in that role but left last year) and it's seen as the reward for successful campaign she prepared for LV (also she has a lot of experience so props to her)
Gwen Largue (Merc young driver academy boss) said that despite Este being in Alpine and faithful to the team, it's in fact Merc who "continues to manage his career"
Crofty claims Este told him Alpine 2024 car is "a little bit slow" before Christmas, because he has been testing it in the sim since September
From fan's point of view: did you know Lewis is apparently allergic to dogs whicb he admitted to in the interview with puppers?, USA figure skating pair Kaitlin Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker stepped away from competing from the rest of the season but shared a programme they trained that feature's Charles' AUS 23, there's Fight AIDS Cup in Monaco on 22nd January (aka next monday) with Princess Stephanie's team against Prince Albert II.'s team and considering Charles was there last year I expect him to participate again

I wish everything was as simple and nice as discussing Fluffer Puppers…
Me too, my dear. Me too…
But alas, I see that many USA citizens seemed to have skipped USA Civics classes when it was given in school.

road trip slide show!
It’s not the destination, but the journey” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Road-trip to view the 2024 total Solar Eclipse in Missouri, USA was packed with experiences (only 3 minutes of which was viewing the total eclipse). See/read the slide show under the cut!
Tumblr media
Our journey started on Saturday and we expected to spend at least 5-6 hours in the car each day (it is 12 hours drive time to our eclipse viewing location in Missouri). Actual time spent on road each day was around 9 🤣 - so our greatest effort on the math figuring out how long our days would be. Ufda, getting to your Airbnb at 9pm each day is exhausting.
There are three humans and one animal on this trip, myself, husband, friend, and friend’s dog.
First event we experienced: the Mississippi River!
Now this needs some background - I live 3 minute drive away from the Mississippi in Minnesota. Could walk to it if I wanted. I’ve been to the headwaters in Itasca, MN and the delta in Louisiana. I cross this river almost daily for the grocery store or to see family … it’s like a big part of life where I live.
We arrived in Guttenberg, IA to Lock and Dam #10 and I’m like - ooh big river! Hey guys, which River is this?
🤔
Yeah, the big River here in this part of the United States is …. The Mississippi River. 🤦
Laughs all around - we enjoyed a short walk near the lock and dam, enjoyed all the fun street names, found a bathroom, and got back on the road.
Tumblr media
By the way - one of our road trip companions was very cute and a very good puppers for the entire trip. Just amazing!
Tumblr media
So day two - husbeast (husband) loudly stated a desire for a roadside attraction during today’s driving. The world’s biggest something, or weirdest whatever …. Something cool. Our friend did some kick butt research and found …. American Giants museum in Atlanta, Illinois. A mere 15 minutes off the hwy; and we were incredibly fortunate cause it was the first weekend they were open on Sundays too!
Upon entering the main downtown area we were greeted by: Paul Bunyon (hot dog man)
And our Minnesota hearts were so happy to see this large giant friend who is also a Paul Bunyan - but different name spelling cause of copyright issues 🤣🤣🤣 (or so the sign stated).
The dog was NOT a fan of hot dog Paul Bunyon man, but we were!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
And the museum - y’all it was top notch! A single room, but like, FABULOUS write ups for the history of the Big Friends fiberglass works. Just awesome. The volunteers - also top notch. So friendly and happy to chat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And if you’re anywhere near there, Memorial Day weekend they are getting one of the last remaining 6 Texaco giants!
Back on the road and onto our next stop which was ….St. Louis and the Gateway Arch.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And guess what! We saw a BIG RIVER! Hey guys, which River is this ….. it’s the Mississippi, still. 🤣🤣
Tumblr media
Back on the road to Union, MO to rest up for ECLIPSE DAY!
Many many many friends and family informed us that the traffic TO the eclipse would be pretty good … but leaving the eclipse location would double or triple driving time. WORTH IT!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Many people have written about viewing an eclipse, how it’s an amazing experience. The highlights for me?
When the sun is totally eclipsed you are able to see SUNSET colors at the horizon EVERYWHERE - which is just like …. I love clouds and sunsets and that was AWESOME
Again, totally eclipsed you can see STARS (maybe it’s a planet?) - like the brightest starts are visible!
as the sun returns, the sky opposite the sun looks like twilight, while the light illuminating your front is like day. It’s wild.
total drive time on eclipse day:
1.5 hours from Airbnb to eclipse viewing spot
4 hours to travel same distance away from eclipse
Oh, and side note, traveling to our overnight after the eclipse, we crossed the Mississippi again. “Hey guys, what big river is this?” 🤣
The eclipse was a real highlight of the trip. But not the only highlight.
On the final day of travel, our picnic lunch location took us to a small town in Iowa. As we turn off the highway we see “Welcome to Riverside, IA” and immediately husbeast is exclaiming …
“We’re going to the future birthplace of CAPTAIN KIRK!” We’re huge Star Trek fans in this house - and we met the friend traveling with us thru a Star Trek podcast group many years ago. She’s been to Trekfest in Riverside before, and highly recommends attending. It’s a sweet gathering of wonderful Star treky people … and the few locals we spoke to in Riverside were very friendly!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fabulous trip. on final count, we crossed the Mississippi 4 times, and I asked which River it was only 3 times. Go me.
Tumblr media
It wasn’t just about the destination, but the journey along the way.

Nintendo Switch Weekly Round-Up for the Week Ending September 14, 2024
Tumblr media
Hello gentle readers, and welcome to the Nintendo Switch Weekly Round-Up for the week ending September 14, 2024. I've decided to carry this on in some fashion even though I'm not at TouchArcade anymore. It's going to be weekly, it's mainly going to be focused on new and notable releases, and I'm definitely not going to be doing the lists of sales. I might call out some specific ones here and there when I consider them juicy enough, though. With that said, let's see what this week brought us.
Select New Releases
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics ($49.99)
Tumblr media
The wildest retro collection you have never dreamt! Capcom tosses all of its arcade-based Marvel games into a package very similar in terms of interface and features to 2022's Capcom Fighting Collection. You get X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and The Punisher. All really good games, and don't ignore The Punisher if you pick this up. It's quietly one of Capcom's better beat 'em ups. A great set, and it's nice to see these games in circulation again.
The Hokkaido Serial Murder Case: The Okhotsk Disappearance ~Memories in Ice, Tearful Figurine~ ($44.99)
Tumblr media
G-Mode presents a remake of Yuji Horii's classic mystery adventure game, The Hokkaido Serial Murder Case. It's very faithful gameplay-wise, so you can expect some very vintage Japanese adventure gaming from it. Talk to people, examine scenes for evidence, and try to figure out who was responsible for these grisly murders. This is the first official English release of the game, which is pretty nifty.
Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines ($17.99)
Tumblr media
Grappling pupper Pablo returns for more platforming fun, this time joined by the gun-wielding Luna. Are two dogs better than one? I haven't played enough to say for sure yet, but if you liked Grapple Dog you'll almost certain have a great time with this sequel.
Yars Rising ($29.99)
Tumblr media
WayForward does its best to make a sassy Metroidvania out of a property almost as old as ol' Shaun, and the result is about what you would expect from this developer. It's fine. If you want a new Metroidvania, a new WayForward game, or want your Atari fan itch scratched, this will serve you well enough.
Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland ($24.99)
Tumblr media
A surprisingly solid platformer in the vein of Super Mario Bros. 2/USA starring the most popular babies of the 1990s. You can play in classy NES style or go with the very well-done modern presentation. Either way, some enjoyable hop-and-toss fun.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP ($44.99)
Tumblr media
Lollipop Chainsaw was a really fun game back in the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 era, with a style positively dripping with James Gunn/Suda51 energy. So what happens if you take that game, drain a massive amount of the style from it, and port it badly to Switch? This. This happens. It doesn't even play Mickey when you go super. What the heck is the point?
Arcade Archives VS. Battle City ($7.99)
Tumblr media
A Famicom pirate cart/handheld staple, Battle City is already on the Switch via one of Namco's 8-bit collections. But this is VS. Battle City, which… removes the stage editor and adds pretty much nothing! One for the completionists, I suppose.
EGGCONSOLE Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes PC-8801mkIISR ($6.49)
Tumblr media
The sixth game in the Dragon Slayer series is also the first game in The Legend of Heroes, which is technically the same franchise as Falcom's recent bread-and-butter Trails games. A pretty good turn-based RPG for its era, but one look at the screenshot will tell you what the problem is for most people reading this. Japanese only, and very text heavy. Oh well.
Crossy Road Castle ($19.99)
Tumblr media
Another Apple Arcade game escapes the zoo, this time the platformer based on the hit Crossy Road franchise. Up to four players on this one, online or local. Plenty of hats and characters to unlock. The levels are procedurally generated, so you can keep playing it infinitely! Whether you will want to or not is a different matter, though.
Wild Bastards ($34.99)
Tumblr media
The follow-up to Void Bastards, and one I'm sure will find just as many fans. It's pretty different from Void, incorporating turn-based strategy, roguelite, arena shooter, and a few other bits and bobs into something quite distinctive. That uniqueness might turn off some players, but I suspect it will win over more than it pushes away.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Reckoning of New York ($19.99)
Tumblr media
Here's the third installment in the Vampire: The Masquerade series of visual novels for the Switch. If you're new to these, play the other two first. If you're not, then I'm sure you can figure out if this is for you or not.
Elsie ($24.99)
Tumblr media
Played the wheels of 20XX and 30XX but need more roguelite Mega Man X mash-up action? Perhaps Elsie is what you're after today. Procedural generation! It's a popular choice in the modern age. Still, if the bar napkin concept doesn't put you off, this is a rather enjoyable game.
Eden Genesis ($24.99)
Tumblr media
A cyberpunk-themed precision platformer with an emphasis on speedy moves. It's decent enough, but not so good that I'd recommend it with any real vigor. It's stylish and functional, and that might be enough for some.
Beneath Oresa ($24.99)
Tumblr media
Here's another game inspired by the likes of Slay the Spire, this one aiming to be a bit more lively with its roguelite deckbuilding turn-based gameplay. It's extremely demanding, the kind of game where exactly one wrong move can end your run. So don't make any mistakes, okay? Glad we cleared that up.
Celestia: Chain of Fate ($29.99)
Tumblr media
In this otome visual novel, you play as a young woman who finds out she's half angel and half demon. She's been invited to attend the Academy of Celestia, where she will find among other things three hunky dudes to potentially smooch. But which one will she smooch? That depends on your choices, my friend.
Metro Quester | Osaka ($19.99)
Tumblr media
Just like the original Metro Quester, this is a game that is very much tuned towards a particular kind of taste. If you're into what it's laying down, you'll likely be absorbed for a while. Everyone else is going to be repelled with the force of an angry pantsless Magneto. Dungeon crawling, turn-based battling, chunky character building… ah, I love it.
Doomsday Paradise ($14.99)
Tumblr media
This might seem like another Slay the Spire-style deckbuilding roguelite from that screenshot, but it's also an off-the-wall dating sim and features multiplayer for up to four players via online, local, or local wireless. Quite well-liked on other platforms, and I think this particular combination will go over nicely with the Switch audience too.
Fabledom ($24.99)
Tumblr media
A deliberately relaxed fantasy-themed city builder. As near as I can tell, it more or less does what it sets out to do. Not the fanciest of cat pajamas, but if it's the kind of jam you're after today I don't think it will let you down.
Jackbox Naughty Pack ($21.69)
Tumblr media
Those Jackbox Party Packs sure are neat, but if you've got a room full of adults and want to dig into something a little more saucy, here's the Naughty Pack. The games in this one go a little more dirty, as you can tell by the publisher cleverly ending the price with a 69 instead of a 99. I can definitely see this one going over well at the right kind of parties.
NanoApostle ($19.99)
Tumblr media
Nanotechnology? How nostalgic. Remember when that was the buzzword in video games? Here's another one of those top-down boss-rush action games where you have to dash and dodge around while attacking a far more powerful foe. A fairly good one, I'd say. It works the way this kind of thing usually does, with skill trees, multistage bosses, and so on. Solid execution makes it.
Caravan SandWitch ($24.99)
Tumblr media
A game about traversing a small but fairly dense open world in your cool van, helping people out. There's no combat, and you can't die. So it's just you, the citizens you'll be assisting, the sci-fi world itself, and a mystery about your missing sister to serve as an overall goal. It's been getting relatively good reviews so far. Provided the Switch port has come out smoothly, this might be worth the pick-up.
Edge of Sanity ($19.99)
Tumblr media
The core game here is decent enough. It's a The Thing-inspired survival game with a lot of interesting systems to deal with and fairly satisfying strategic combat. The big problem is that this game is really buggy at the moment, at least in this Nintendo Switch form. I wouldn't pick it up on Switch until it gets some patching up, but I'm not the mayor of Yourwalletonshire.
Deep Beyond ($9.99)
Tumblr media
Today is a day for missing family members, it seems. The main character of this one is a sea explorer looking for her father, and her journey will see her taking deep-sea dives, solving puzzles, and hanging out with her dog. Not a terribly long game by any means, but I think it punches well enough for the asking price.
Selfloss ($29.99)
Tumblr media
This Slavic-inspired action-adventure game ended up being more engrossing than I expected. Rough edges aplenty, but it feels good to play more often than it doesn't. Solid boss battles, a good story, and really satisfying puzzles to solve. I was really caught off-guard by this, in a good way.
Pixel Game Maker Series The Willow Man ($6.99)
Tumblr media
A modest little survival-horror game where you're trying to survive long enough to escape a house that plays host to an unspeakable evil known only as The Willow Man. There are multiple endings to arrive at based on your actions.
Downfall ($5.99)
Tumblr media
I'm sure at this price you're not expecting fancy dining, and you shouldn't. Pretty much just a mindless little grinder. The art is decent and it's not the worst time-waster for a short while, but it gets dull fast.
Line Time ($5.99)
Tumblr media
Regular readers know I'm a bit of a sucker for puzzle games, and this one isn't too shabby at all. You have to push the ball or balls to the goal on each stage, and you're given a set number of moves to do it in. Plan things out move by move and if there are multiple balls in play keep in mind that they will interact. Over two hundred stages to play, which is probably more than you'll need but appreciated nonetheless.
Samurai Kento ($4.99)
Tumblr media
An small Metroidvania-ish game with RPG elements that casts you in the role of a samurai trying to save Japan from evil yokai run amuck. Not a bad time for the price, if you're in the mood for one of these.
Nimbusfall ($5.99)
Tumblr media
Ah, haven't seen one of these in a while. You're a tiny character and you need to square off against twenty-five big bosses. You've got a good array of moves at your disposal, so all you have to do is learn the patterns and land your blows. Seems fine.
That's all for this week, friends. We'll be back next Saturday with another Round-Up, this time featuring a review or two! If you enjoyed this and feel like tossing me a tip, I have a Ko-Fi where you can make that happen. I hope you have a super Saturday, and as always, thanks for reading!

15 Questions For The Writer
Tumblr media
1. Are you named after anyone? Off of tumblr, my family named me after a character from the soap opera, 'D.ays of our Lives'.
2. When was the last time you cried? Mmmm. Christmas eve? Not going to divulge in that though haha. Just out of frustration.
3. Do you have kids? No.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Oh yes, though I try not to use it against people who I don't know or who aren't keen with it. But if I hear someone use sarcasm, I'll do it right back.
5. What’s the first thing you notice about people? Mainly what clothes they are wearing. Or if they have a cute bag. Or listening to them react to their environment, whether it's positive or negative.
I can't look into faces of strangers I don't know. I know in interviews with a stranger for a job, it's a lot different, but I still have to force myself to give eye contact. Otherwise, it makes me physically uncomfortable if I don't know a person. So my eyes are usually drawn by colors of apparel first, or the sounds going on around me.
6. What’s your eye colour? Hazel Green
7. Scary movies or happy endings? Happy endings rn. I cannot physically stomach scary movies (or even shows with 'everyday' scary themes currently, but I know I will get back to those eventually).
But I was ruined with scary movies in 4th /5th grade when one of my old friends forced me to watch em'. I never recovered and C.huckie still is the stuff of nightmares to me, I cannot look at a baby doll the same way again 😂
8. Any special talents? ...falling up the steps rather than falling down. I swear, the amount of times I do it. Even my dog does it from time to time ( though she is very fine, she just slips on one step up but never falls completely.)
9. Where were you born? USA, Georgia.
11. Have you any pets? I am on my second pupper! First one passed of old age after high school, and I got the second a year and a half later and she is still going strong 😊
12. What sport do you play/have played? Oh my god. I am a limp noodle when it comes to sports and I don't play anything currently. I would be 'THAT kid who would be the last one to be chosen' type of bad LMAO
When I was little, my parents tried to force me to do sports, which is probably why I hated them for so long (though I have grown to appreciate them a decade ago and will not say no to trying out new things).
I know I did gymnastics in like...early elementary school years...I have a few plastic participation trophies from them l m a o. But I honestly cannot remember anything about it but the big foam cube pool. Ballet, but that did not last long at all despite also having two or three participation trophies. Little me HATED it. I felt so embarrassed wearing those frilly tutus during recitals... I was not that kind of little girl. It even came up during Christmas recently, and my grandpa admitted to me that I NEVER looked like I was having fun during those show recitals, I always had this look of ' 'I have no clue what I am doing' and 'why am I here' while my mom and grandma always raved about how cute I look in that heavy makeup lmao. Because apparently I never looked out to the crowd, I always watched what the other kids were doing and tried to keep up. 😂 I think I must've been like. 5 at the time.
I think?? I did one lesson with horse riding, but even though I enjoyed it, I was never taken back to it. But I was so little and I realize now that costs are expensive l m a o.
I think I went to tennis practice two times in elementary and was done. They tried to put me in cheerleading classes, which was laughable, I did one class and said no. Karate...was more interesting in middle school since it was the first time I chose it, but I was frustrated that I could never remember what to do during performances and my parents were never supportive anyway since they wanted me to be in the "girly girl" sports.
All in all, all the personal sports memories I have are rather negative, which was unfortunate.
13. How tall are you? 5 foot 3 inches. s m o l l.
14. Favourite subject in school? Other than art, I loved when the football coaches in high school taught history because they made it fun.
15. Dream job? I would absolutely love to do something with my art. Currently, taking baby steps to make them feel achievable. Current SMALL dream is to open up an etsy to run on side while working a job. I got a heat press to make shirts, and I got a cricut to make all sorts of others things.

15 Questions | 15 People
Thanks for the tag @squintclover - I love doing these!
1. are you named after anyone? Nope. My mom had a name in mind, but thought it was only good as a nickname, so she essentially made a "full name" up that would have the nickname she had in mind. Pretty sure there are only a handful of people with it in the world
2. when was the last time you cried? Ooof... I'm recording the Moon that Breaks. I'm fairly certain that it has broken me multiple times. Be prepared for some pain from me in the near future.
3. do you have kids? Nope. Hopefully one day
4. do you use sarcasm a lot? It's like a second language to me
5. what’s the first thing you notice about people? If we shake hands it's definitely that; I wasn't friends with someone for a year because their handshake creeped me out. If not shaking hands definitely their teeth. Personal hygiene says a lot about a person
6. what’s your eye colour? Hazel. They love to change colors depending on what I'm wearing
7. scary movies or happy ending? Happy endings for sure. Enough bad stuff happens in the real world so at least some fictional characters can get what we all desire
8. any special talents? I have lots of nerdy/old maid talents... If anyone needs lessons on crocheting, cross stitching, quilting, or software development I'm your gal *not really though I'm the most terrible teacher you'll ever meet*
9. where were you born? Wisconsin, USA
10. what are your hobbies? Lately it seems to be exclusively podfic'ing which I'm not even remotely upset about. Outside of that we can see the talents listed above
11. do you have any pets? 2 puppers who I find quite delightful
12. what sports do you play/have you played? I swam competitively from when I was in first grade until I graduated high school
13. how tall are you? 5 ft/60 inches/152 cm
14. favourite subject at school? Math. I'm pretty much a super nerd (ie. Text to Speech podfics)
15. dream job? I honestly love what I currently do (software engineer) I kind of fell into it my first semester of college and never looked back
