Rwrb anon hii let’s talk about the sequel! What would you like to see or which plot are you interested in? I read this one short fic about them engage but everything about the wedding is being planned or approved by the crown which evolves to have Henry abdícate so they can do their thing and after realizing his grandma as long as he stays will always find a way to control things now adding more stuff to that im thinking same scenario and Alex is understanding and everything after all he just wants to marry Henry and Henry feels like he doesn’t get to complain about it after all they are letting him marry the man he loves but still there’s this underlaying thing Alex feeling Henry is not being fully honest and Henry feeling he is dragging Alex into his prison and that he will hate it and resent him from it ( because after married Alex would have to give up a lot of his dreams and goals but they are avoiding talking about that future after the wedding) so wedding planing! Cute and funny and silly with underlaying tension because obviously the families are also going to have opinions , until something stupid is changed by the crown or mess up and it blows and they have fight that gets cut short by some sort of emergency and then another fight and then Henry realizes he ultimately wants freedom and what his grandfather (almost forgot about that change in the movie) is doing is just making the bird cage bigger so he talks to his family (please give me some Catherine ) they support him he talks to his grandfather confronts him again and finally decides to abdicate and goes to talk to Alex unrgently after he gets told he was going to give up an big opportunity for them so he stops him big love declaration and of course Alex is like but are you sure? And Henry tells him is for them as much as it is for him and they get to have a small wedding with their families and friends and they way they wanted it , the end :) but that’s just me haha what about you sorry for the ramble I clearly had thoughs

i definetely think the plot will have something to do with proposal/ wedding, especially since there was a version of the script where a proposal is where the last movie ended, but like beyond that i haven't given it too much thought lol. i will need abundant jokes about wedding cakes from every direction, also which make it clear that this is something that alex and henry have never settled on re: who's fault etc. it is never ever serious tho, just them being silly goofy. mostly im just excited that there will be more story told!
