And exactly because of things like that I think we always should have a national final for Eurovision so people can find German artists they like and start to support them even if they don't win. Like I knew Lonely Spring before ULfL but I doubt I would have paid much attention to them, except that they're the band that sounds cool who sometimes appears on my for you page on tiktok, if they hadn't been in our national final.

I just think it's so important that we support our upcomig musicians and their music scene and what better way than to give them a platform where many people, and not just German people but also international ones, will watch them perform and maybe start liking and supporting them.

Ok so if you have followed me a while when I was doing my research on the hetalia fandom and 2p America they started telling me I was being a woke idiot and hes dark because dark colors are associated with evil. I basically memed her ignorant response and she started acting like I was misrepresenting her as evil while continuing to respond with ignorant borderline racist things till I blocked. Then when I corrected one of @historihet a posts on western riding (only @ing for reference bc they're aware of ukranianliteratureforlife's racism/animosity too). ULFL commented pretty passive aggressively "oh that Latino is still active" which is sus. ULFL also has some generally shitty takes such as not liking when people treat the presence of poc in Medieval Europe as normal (spoiler it wasn't really that odd there's a bunch of evidence for that) talking about wanting to support trump to "piss off liberals" (don't remember the exact wording) calling LGBT/Queer people "alphabet people" disdain for western lgbt people specifically because "they don't act like that in my country" (again I don't remember the exact words) like no shit they act differently Ukraine isn't exactly a champion of gay rights. etc.

ULFL is kinda just a mixed bag of bad takes which is why i said "at best antagonistic to poc and at worst racist" and added that it was from my own experience. If anyone has anything to add feel free
