Bro I got an idea 5 seconds ago and I have to share it with you

Red coming home from work and you greet him at the door.

He immediately knew that something was up, you were a bit tense and you were avoiding eye contact.

You both sat at the table to eat something you prepared, he couldn’t remember what it was, seeing you like this made his stomach ache and twist in knots. He doesn’t like seeing you like this. The diner was quiet for the most part.

And in the middle of the diner, you said to him;

“Dear ? I may have fucked up.”

He looked up at you, worried. Knowing you, it could go from adopting a wild Pokémon to actual murder. He started to sweat a bit, awaiting to know what you did. Instead of giving him an oral response, you got up, and left the table to go fetch something.

He sat there, waiting for you to return with whatever you did.

He expected a lot of things, but not for you to come back with a big dino plushy. It was nearly your size.

“That’s one.”

He continued watching your every move as you opened a cupboard, grabbing a dino shaped…Thing ?

“They’re meant to hold nachos, and that’s two.”

He was no longer that worried, he was just curious at this point. That’s two dino related objects, did you adopt a tyrunt or something ?

You opened a second cupboard to show him a collection of cups. They weren’t normal cups, no, they were shaped like cat-like Pokémon paws. And there were a lot of them, taking almost two floors of the cupboard.

“That’s three. Only one more.”

No longer scared or anxious about anything you had to show him, he waited there, head resting on the back of his hand, and watched as you pulled out something out of your pocket, only to throw it at him.

They were socks, which imitated cat like Pokémon paws too, and they had beans.

He looked up at you, a light smile on his face and also slight confusion.

Where is the part where you fucked up ??

“I went on pilot mod for two hours and came back to these, I’m sorry.”

Red knew you weren’t really sorry, and that’s fine because he wasn’t angry at you either. He giggled and shook his head fondly.

You knew he wasn’t mad, and he gets to have cool new socks, so it’s a win win.

Red is totally inviting Blue over to show him his new cup collection.
