welp here’s my writing process

its incredibly disorganized ill warn you

usually i start with a few keyboard smashes to get the energy going. i can’t usually just pull up a doc and be like “ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WAS A...” I just write absolute bullshitty, meaningless sentences or just straight up vuerkfvknjvnc. idk. it helps.

then i try to get the plot going. If i already have a prompt or idea, i flesh out the nitty gritty details (like ages, appearances...) first. idk why but knowing the basics of my characters always get me f i r e d u p!

this is where the real crack comes in. i usually just write in (extremely(extremely(extremely))) shorthand what i think the plot should be like. it doesn’t make any sense at all, trust me. i can decipher it pretty well but if im working with someone they’re often just like :| what the f u c k. which is totally fine! if you can understand your drafts, then its all good.

thats pretty much it. if im feeling extra maybe ill write down which parts of the plot i want in the chapters. maybe ill flesh out the characters some more. but usually i just to all that and then DIIIIvE iN.
