Oh yeah, as for how CrossCode is going:

Gonna keep the tradition going and post my third duel with Apollo

Guys I am in DEEP now. This game has been out for 10 days and I’ve spent literally 1/5 of that time CONSUMED by it

The characters, combat, and setting were great from the start and had me hooked almost instantly, but after the second major dungeon, you hit the real meat of the plot, and when that happens, you get a solid, like, 3-5 hours of UNRELENTING plot twists and emotional moments and just general top-notch atmosphere and gameplay. I’m back to regular exploration and questing now, but even an hour later I’m still totally Shook

I can’t really go into more details without completely spoiling the story, but please play this game and experience the rollercoaster with me. I’m not usually into platformers or arcade shooters or really PC games at all for that matter, but this game has enough RPG elements and is fast-paced and RIVETING enough that even I feel compelled to see it all the way through. (And if those genres ARE something you’re typically interested in, I guarantee you’ll love this game.)

Anyway I’m still bad at this game but here’s me winning the duel at Bergen Trail on my first attempt despite that

Also, RELATED to the standing-out-in-the-cold-for-an-hour thing mentioned earlier, my hands are a little too numb for difficult precision video gaming tonight

My second duel with Apollo. Made some dumb mistakes but overall felt like a total badass. This game is so good at that.
