If you care about all lives, then you care about black lives. Black Lives Matter to me, and hopefully to you too. The Black Lives Matter movement is not against police, it’s against police brutality and a system that does not provide adequate training or accountability for the murder of black people at the hands of police. It’s against a system that perpetuates racism, biases in media coverage, and the dehumanization of black people. We need understanding and real legislative change. We need to fix this.
