I heard something interesting today, which is that a lot of autistic people are the Meyers-Briggs personality type INFJ. It got me interested, because I'm autistic and I tested as INFJ when I took the test! I even just retook it to check. I feel called out lol
I don't put a lot of stock in personality tests, but I'm really curious to see whether this is accurate and decided to bring it to the gay trans autistic webbed site.
A link to a site where you can take the Meyers-Briggs test online is at the bottom, and so is a description of the INFJ personality type. Just make sure to take your results with a grain of salt, personality tests are interesting but a large part of them is bunk science.
So without further ado,
Link to take the Meyers-Briggs personality test:
Link to a description of the INFJ personality profile:
Please reblog this to boost it so we can get better results!
#autism#actually autistic#meyers briggs#personality tests#allism#I was going to write “and I'm allistic/have allism” and I'm I'd be right in doing that but nobody says they “have allism” lol

Personality Type and Group Work Reflections
Angelique Shelley (MA Concept Art)
It was fascinating for me to discover that I’m an INTP in a free Myers-Briggs test online (Truity, 2024), although I am borderline equal with my thinking and feeling personality traits (see fig. 1), which sums up the struggle I experience trying to be logical during storms of emotion. INTP’s are considered to be logicians and analysts, and while I think that makes me sound more mathematically gifted than what I am in reality, it was fun learning about some of the traits I could see in myself, for example: the arts might not necessarily be associated with the sciences, but when I’m rendering artwork by hand, I determine in my mind how materials and shapes react in relation to each other and the light sources. These same calculations are used in Ray Tracing and other render settings that can be calculated by a games engine or rendering software.
Fig. 1 The visual results from my Myers-Briggs Type test online, Truity, 2024
The Myers-Briggs outcome also seemed to somewhat match my scores from the Belbin test (see fig. 2-4), which suggests my strongest roles to be Resource Investigator, Completer Finisher and Co-ordinator, although interestingly, my lowest score was for Monitor Evaluator, which seems to be a role more suited for the logical INTP as they are gifted at analysing data and creating solutions to difficult problems.
Fig. 2 A graph showing my percentile scores in Belbin Team Roles test, Belbin, 2024
Fig. 3 A breakdown analysis of my suggested Belbin Team Roles, Belbin, 2024
Fig. 4 A breakdown considering key work styles based on my percentile scores in Belbin Team Roles test, Belbin, 2024
Within my group interactions so far, I have felt most comfortable in my higher percentile roles of Resource Investigator and Co-ordinator. During the group activity, there were some technological barriers to fully realising some more roles that I may have taken on. Despite this, I found myself trying to use logic and creativity to solve the egg transportation problem, and researching successful designs after the fact to see whether my idea would have even been possible had it been chosen. In hindsight, my idea would have been impractical and a little too ambitious in the time it would have taken to craft if it had been possible in the first place. This over-ambitious impractically may have been solved by Pasteur's (1822-1895) dictum of preparation and learning, where had I had a better understanding of transportational objects for eggs, I may have produced something more viable, but perhaps it would then match better the notion of falling into well-treaded paths that limit creative ingenuity (Hardard, 2007).
All things considered, the group experiment is a valuable lesson in analysing the idea we decide to take forward to ensure it’s achievable, plays to everyone’s strengths and maybe has just a hint of over-ambitious madness.

Week 10
During this lesson we told to take a personality test more specifically the 16 personalities test (https://www.16personalities.com). I took the test and got a this as the result, which is INFJ-T.
I had also taken another test to compare with the other one
In both tests I got INFJ but with the exception that in 16personality gave me INFJ-T and in truity they gave me more two others which are INTJ and ISFJ. Needless to say they were still similar from one another. But to sum up 16personalities state that I am an Advocate which one has a sense of idealism and integrity while also being introverted.
So how does this work in a video game? People enjoy playing video games and depending their personality one can enjoy a certain types of games. In this case they claim that advocates like the “escapist fantasies” that can be found in video games. Thus they claim that role playing games are the games that an advocate might enjoy. In this case I do not enjoy rps that much. I find that they get too long or even boring (as if the game requires to do a lot of farming, it becomes boring to me). I prefer something like adventure games, more specifically open world games, like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The fact you get lost and explore the world to me is what I enjoy. It does not mean that I do not play my fair share of rpgs such as ‘Stardew Valley’, ‘Undertale’ and ‘Skyrim’.

Thursday 26th May 2022, Myers Briggs Personality Test
Today I did the Myers Briggs personality test. Similar to the adobe creative type personality test, this test helps you identify who you are as a person. Even though Adobe creative type is based around the creative personality aspects, this test is an all-rounder
Looking at this test has been interesting for my mini FMP, but its complexity and lack of creative questions make me think about whether it can be directly relatable to my project.
