Favorite Color: Purple, for like aesthetics wise, blue for clothes, brings out my eyes lol!

Favorite musician: Musician? Just the one person? Ummmm, I’m gonna go with Owl City aka Adam Young. Love that guy.

Solo: I’ve decided to interpret this as someone who used to be in a band and is now a solo artist. Which would be Brendon Urie. That boy can wail, and he’s done a ton of solo stuff with collaborations. 

Band: Here’s the thing. I’m a hoe for different bands, always have been. I can’t pick one. But there are specific ones I keep coming back to. Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, My Chemical Romance, Imagine Dragons, OneRepublic, Of Monsters and Men, Bastille. I’m an emo kid at heart, and I think you can see that here lol. 

Last Film: God, it’s been so long. I’ve been so busy with grad school and my thesis that I haven’t really watched anything film wise. Looking at my Netflix, The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson. It was achingly sad, as a trans person triggering. But I watched it for class, so it was a “have to watch” kind of thing.

Last TV show: Two sections for me on this one. I’ve been trying to watch more “upbeat” or “weird” things, so kids tv wise I’ve been watching 3Below: Tales of Arcadia. It’s adorable, it’s about aliens, and really actually packs a punch, feelings wise. Plus it’s made by Guillermo del Torro, so yea, it’s a winner. Adult tv wise, it’s been a lot of alien conspiracy shows, one literally called Conspiracy. But, if that get’s too serious, then I watch Bob Ross, Great British Bake Off, etc.

Favorite Character: Look. Obviously it’s Alex Manes. That character was written for me. We share the same traumas, same insecurities, I love him so much. I wax poetic about Alex Manes to my family and friends. I’ve told my therapist about him. I’ve told my mother about him. I got something Tyler Blackburn told me tattooed on myself. Alex Manes, he’s my boy. And I love him so much.

Savory, sweet, or spicy: Spicy. I actually did a study where spicy food helps me come down from panic attacks, and some studies are beginning to show that it’s an actual thing that we may be able to use in the future. So, spicy. 

Sparkling water, tea, or coffee: I love coffee and tea. My coffee though, it has to be a special coffee I have from an online store. They make different flavors and they’re amazing. Tea, it’s chai, Earl Grey, and just regular tea. We blend the Earl Grey and “regular tea” to make sweet cold tea. 

Pets: My baby, precious baby Maddie. She’s 13 this year!

The Harold Hunter Foundation took over New York City once again this past weekend celebrating the memory of skateboarding legend – Harold Hunter. Events ran from Thursday through Sunday including gallery events, parties, contests and the 12th annual Harold Hunter Day. Here’s a recap for anyone who couldn’t make it out.

  The BoardrAM/HHF Wildcard Contest

On Saturday afternoon everyone headed down to Coleman/LES skatepark for the BoardrAM/HHF Wildcard Contest. Tyler Peterson took first and received an all-expenses paid trip to The Boardr Am Season Finals at the Am Getting Paid contest in Montreal, Canada. Full contest results available here.

  Harold Hunter Day XII

Ending the Harold Hunter Weekend on Sunday was HHF’s main event – Harold Hunter Day XII. Coleman/LES skatepark hosted one big open session with special contests held throughout the day. adidas Skateboarding installed a special gap to rail on the double-set making it even harder to win cash, product and bragging rights. LES was packed and Harold’s spirit was strong!
