Suki/Mai/Ty Lee is such a hilariously wonderful ship because one it’s totally possible and there’s nothing like 3 badass woman in a triad but also it’s so funny cause it’s like Ty Lee just cartwheeled over and stole both Sokka and Zukos girls with her acrobatic rizz. Like she’s just got mad game.

I love avatar for the foreshadowing but their misleads are great as well, my favorite being Suki x Azula

They made it clear this was a great battle, but suggested it was mostly a fight between these 2

Later it's made clear that Suki actually lost to someone else

After saying she's been waiting for this rematch she engages Ty Lee letting us know that's who she wanted the rematch with, but she already let us know through the skills we've seen her develop

She's always been a great fighter but we saw that she worked hard to upgrade her speed and agility as well as learn acrobatics we've never seen from her, but since she was training to fight Ty Lee it makes sense, her normal style using her opponents strength and size against them she clearly needed something different for Ty Lee, and it shows how she went from countering every move Sokka made while throwing him around, to her blocking and even trying to strike first against Ty Lee

And this brings me back to the original mislead

If in the end she lost to Ty Lee, does that mean she was beating Azula one on one and had to be stopped? I don't see any burns on her, was she able to use Azula's strength and ferocious moves against her

It's that the real reason she was put in the boiling rock?

Woke up this morning with TySukka on my mind and couldn’t stop thinking about Suki and Ty Lee having highly competitive “sparring sex” (first to climax loses…if you consider that losing) while Sokka spectates from the sidelines, dick in hand

The funny thing is that I was literally thinking of TySuki the day you sent this to me and how things might get dirty when Ty Lee shows Suki some chi-blocking and flexibility techniques to teach the Kyoshi Warriors, so why not throw Sokka in there too?

Yeah, about Azula and Suki. What would their friendship be like? First there would probably be some tense vibe between them when the two are in the same room. But eventually they'd come to respect one another and there would be a lot of friendly-rivalry taunting. Can you imagine them doing make up for one another????

Warrior Training (Suki/Ty Lee)

Summary: Suki is training Ty Lee to be a Kyoshi warrior, but Ty Lee has something more entertaining in mind. (This pairing was so fun to write!! Part of my Femslash February fics, hope you enjoy it!)

“C’mon, try to block me,” Suki encouraged, taking another swing towards the Fire Nation girl.

Ty Lee, who’s fighting style was similar enough to that of the Kyoshi Warriors, was fitting right in. Still, Suki had been practicing one-on-one with her to...Well, to get her acquainted, obviously. No other reason.

“Don’t we ever strike first?” Ty Lee asked, easily blocking the hit, but pouting nonetheless.

“We use our opponent’s strength against them,” Suki replied. “Knocking them back with their own force. So, yes, we can and will strike first, but it’s about using their own attacks to best them.”

The answer seemed to make Ty Lee perk up, a new spring in her step as she put her hands back up. “You block me this time, then,” she said, and only gave Suki a moment to prepare before she launched her next move.

Suki easily caught her wrist and took her to the floor. “You struck first, and I used your strength to get you down. Understand?”

Ty Lee pouted again. “Yeah, yeah,” she mumbled, but she got back up, ready for more.

As beautiful as Ty Lee was, something about seeing her in the traditional garb of Suki’s people was incredibly distracting. Her many braids had been pulled back into one simple style, the makeup accentuating her features.

However, Suki supposed her old Fire Nation outfits had revealed much more skin, which would be twice as distracting for her.

While she was lost in thought, Ty Lee took a cheap shot to chi-block her left arm, making Suki yelp. It wasn’t a very powerful shot; Suki’s arm could still move limply, and she knew from experience that the feeling and full movement would return shortly. If she were a bender, it would be a much more devastating hit, but it was simply an annoyance to her.

“Hey!” she said.

Ty Lee giggled innocently. “Maybe striking first isn’t such a bad idea, hm?”

Suki gave her a glare. “That was so not fair.”

“No, this isn’t fair,” Ty Lee replied, before she pounced, tackling Suki to the soft mat on the ground, and because the other girl had one dead arm, it was easy to get her pinned.

“Very funny,” Suki grumbled. “Do you want me to say you won?”

Ty Lee grinned down at her. “Well I did win, didn’t I?”

The feeling in Suki’s arm had returned, and a grin curled on her own face as she quickly switched their positions so that she was on top of Ty Lee, who squealed in surprise as she was straddled by the Kyoshi native.

“I think this means I won,” Suki said. “And while I’m all about using my opponent's strength against them, I’m not above using their weaknesses.”

Ty Lee eyed her warily. “What do you mean by that?”

In response to her question, Suki began tickling Ty Lee’s belly with one hand while the other attempted to hold her squirming body down.

The Fire Nation girl burst into laughter almost instantly, the high-pitched sound like music to Suki’s ears. Ty Lee was already an adorable, bubbly person, and her laughter matched that perfectly. It made Suki’s heart melt, watching the helpless grin spread on her face.

In fact, she was so distracted by the sweet picture, Ty Lee managed to flip the two of them over, a delighted battle cry leaving her lips. “Got you!” she declared, her hands going for Suki’s sides.

Suki wasn’t quite as sensitive as Ty Lee, but she was unable to fight the laughter that bubbled in her chest and spilled from her lips.

“Not fair!” she gasped, legs kicking out to no avail.

“Not fair? You seemed to think it was pretty fair when you did it to me,” Ty Lee replied, hands creeping up to prod at Suki’s ribs.

The Kyoshi warrior was brought to a giggly mess underneath the hands of her new friends, and it would have wounded her pride had she not been so happy to roughhouse with someone she liked so much. But she needed to breathe eventually, and so she allowed herself to beg for mercy.

“Okay, okay,” she heaved, batting uselessly at Ty Lee’s hands.

“Had enough?”

“Yes!”

“Hmm…Oh, alright, but only because I’m so nice,” Ty Lee said, and her hands went still.

Suki sucked in a relieved breath, but before she could say anything, Ty Lee leaned down and pressed a kiss to her reddened cheek.

Too stunned to say another word, Suki laid there on the floor as Ty Lee grinned, clambered off of her, and said something about resuming their training.

When she finally regained enough of a brain to do so, Suki stood, and pulled Ty Lee in for a kiss, on the lips this time, and Ty Lee returned it enthusiastically.

“I guess I won after all,” Suki breathed once they’d pulled away.

Ty Lee giggled, shaking her head fondly. “Oh no, I definitely won this one.”

a few additions to sokka and ty lee swap au that i pitched like 2 months ago 

sokka

1. part of ty lee’s backstory is that she’s one of seven identical sisters, so sokka as the only fraternal and male kiddo in a set of seven. sokka gets the most parental attention mainly because he’s the only one who... looks different. at all. which leads to some understandable resentment from his sisters. 

2. he doesn’t really have any close peer relationships until he starts attending the royal fire nation academy. (in this au the reasoning for azula going to the school and zuko not would be that azula is the one who WANTS to go to a far off boarding school whereas zuko still wanted to be home around his mom). he becomes friends with mai because he goes out of his way to try to make her laugh, and... well. with mai comes azula 

3. azula is generally unimpressed by this boy who is taking up HER minion’s attention, but after seeing both his sword skills in training and his strategic skills in different meetings, she decides that he can be her minion too, as long as SHE is the center of these relationships. 

4. “well, my sisters kinda resent me. we don’t have a great relationship” “my brother resents me too, because i’m so much better than he is. that must just mean that you’re way better than they are they know it. it makes them jealous.” “..... azula that’s not how things work” “shut up. you’re my friend so you’re clearly better than those nobodies. the only person you are worse than is me.” “...............” 

5. when the invitation to come to the palace comes, sokka’s not too excited about it because while he likes mai, azula scares him. his parents make it clear that he will NOT embarrass the family by turning down such a generous invitation by the princess herself, and it’s settled. sokka’s on his way to live in the palace. 

6. it’s hard to avoid azula, but he’s able to find some time for just him and mai and for himself. and fire lady ursa says that zuko has been training with swords recently and could use a skilled partner his own age. the friendship that blosoms isn’t quite instant because sokka’s hesitant about the possibility of zuko being Azula Who Hides It Better, and zuko is worried about sokka being like azula because he’s her friend, but once they see that they’re both just normal kids and they enjoy the same things and have similar senses of humor, the friendship comes quickly. 

7. azula does NOT appreciate it. she threatens zuko, she threatens sokka, then she tries to get her dad to step in and stop them from hanging out. all to no avail. the friendship is sealed.

8. haven’t decided if sokka says “fuck it” to his family and the rest of the nation and goes into exile with zuko because friend or if he ends up stuck in the fire nation and training with pakku before azula knocks on his door demanding help with her quest to capture the avatar, but either way. fun. 

ty lee

1. as we’ve seen from atla, ty lee is very adaptive. her fighting style is creative, clever, and flexible. her conversation style is exaggerated, with a lot of humor, diversion techniques, and flattery thrown in. she’s an upbeat person, but she definitely exaggerates these qualities for her own safety because they’re things that are seen as desirable in society. 

2. in water tribe society, as a girl she digs pretty deeply into learning the healing arts, trying to take care of the youngsters, and keep katara from killing herself. her sense of humor and her general personality stay mainly the same, but the water tribe expects her to be more down-to-earth and she’s not much of a fighter in personal relationships. 

3. however, when her baby sister decides that she’s going to go with the avatar ty lee is immediately on board just to make sure that she’s safe. that a little hard to do, though, when she doesn’t know how to fight and she doesn’t think that she should be fighting? 

4. THANK YOU KYOSHI WARRIORS! suki gets ty lee out of her shell and convinces her to try fighting, and she likes it. and maybe she likes suki too and would like it the other girl would kiss her, but like. that’s a different issue altogether. 

5. suki isn’t able to make ty lee a master fighter all in one go, but just deciding that she SHOULD learn to fight is a first step. with personal dedication, learning air-bending fighting styles from aang, and picking stuff up from everyone she meets, ty lee becomes formidable. 

she comes out of her shell and gains confidence! she becomes a big old flirty bisexual! she doesn’t flirt with zuko because he’s not really her type, but if sokka’s with zuko then she’s definitely flirting with him and making him blush. 

7. yue still happens because yue admires her so much and thinks that she’s so cute and awesome. suki is definitely a love interest, but mai might ALSO be a love interest. idk. this is an incomplete au

Suki x Ty Lee. Who's more likely to be the top? My money is on... uhh.... UGH I can't decide! They both have top and bottom vibe about them! Also can you please explain your position why you think Ty Lee is stronger than Suki? I mean after Ty Lee taught Suki the art of chi blocking I think they're somewhat equally strong. But in battle, one must also be smart and resourceful to outplay their opponent

"Who is the top?" depends on the day.

They might be pretty even on the physical strength and on the deadly scale after Ty Lee teaches Suki to chi-block and, as a thank you, is taught how to fight using swords and fans, but the simple fact is that Suki is human levels of cute, while Ty Lee is panda levels of cute, and no one with a heart and soul can hurt a panda, so Ty Lee is stronger.
